MAD is great for sandwiches and breakfast(and probably other things but that’s all I eat). Their best item is the Spicy Breakfast Wrap. They also make great lattes and milkshakes. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. Everyone is very nice. Sometimes orders take a while during dinnertime, so I like to call ahead.

My husband and I love to order from this place. They have a great variety of menu items and healthy options… my favorites being the Irishman omelette and the chicken cobb salad. The food is fresh and the delivery time is decent. We’ve also dined in here and the service has always been great.

Really great coffee – just what we needed after a night in the city! They have plenty of hearty(and healthy) breakfast options as well. We stuck to a standard everything bagel with cream cheese, but I can say that it was toasted to perfection.

My wife and I used to come here every Sunday after church, for over the year and a half that we have lived here in WNY. Never again. Here’s why. When we first moved and saw this establishment open, we decided to give it a try. The service was nice, the coffee was great — despite being more pricey than other places around the area, it was what we always wanted in a coffee shop. After some time, the service started to decline in quality and the staff seemed like they lost their motivation. Since my wife and I have already established our ritual of going to MAD and sitting by the park as we chatted our afternoon away, we didn’t care that the service started getting a bit mediocre. This is why we will never come back: They have these cards that they hand out and put stamps on so on your 10th coffee you get a coffee for free. A few months ago, we forgot out loyalty card, and when we were given a new one, we asked the staff if it was okay for us to have stamps on more than one card when we redeem our free coffee, she confirmed«sure, not a problem! Just bring the cards and show you have 10 stamps». Okay. Today is May 15th. After church my wife and I come here, happily with our 10 stamps(on a few cards). We order a brownie and tell the staff that we have 10 stamps and she says«we specifically don’t allow mixing cards». I advised her kindly that the staff that gave us the cards indicated that we could, she strongly confirmed that no, they don’t. I left the cards on the counter and told my wife«let’s get out of here». Such a shame. This place lost loyal customers for a $ 2 cup of coffee. If the service was as spectacular as it was when it first opened, I probably wouldn’t have minded. Now, we’ll take our business elsewhere. Such a shame.

Great sandwiches, amazing lattes. The spicy breakfast wrap and the Turkey BKT are my jam.

Cool little spot located on Blvd East in West New York which is actually one of its kind. Based on the area, there aren’t many restaurants that serve American food and extremely healthy options. I’ve ordered from this location several times but my first review. The service has always been spectacular and never had a bad experience. I would recommend the Kale Turkey burger which comes with avocado. The milk shakes here are also very good so if you’re into those I recommend trying. If paying in person with a credit card, I believe there is a minimum purchase of $ 10 since I’ve experienced that issue before. Order online, the wait tends to be a while but ultimately it’s worth it.

Food was great but the milk shakes can use some work. Def a favorite local spot!

Have walked by this corner café before and finally had the chance to stop by. Perfect casual lunch or breakfast spot. Cute, clean, modern café with beautiful views of the Hudson River and Manhattan. I had The Aussie sandwich, with salad. Delicious and really hit the spot! Can’t wait to return and try one of the wraps, or a flatbread that caught my eye on the menu. The brownies and tiramisu on display looked delicious as well.

Over the years have watched so many restaurants fading out in this location. Somehow when MAD opened it just had the different vibe to it. We all knew they were meant to stay even without trying them out. The Two sisters who run this place impeccably and seemingly effortlessly are always around. This place has been such a gem in this neighborhood which lacks simple satisfying food. We haven’t yet dined in or ordered delivery but it’s kinda difficult not to stop by and grab a coffee or a bagel when you are passing by MAD. Everything is so fresh and satiating. After moving to a different town I find myself thinking about their delicious coffee and bagels and wish they were no so far away. Honestly I don’t even mind driving all the way to MAD if our mornings were not so crazy. Seriously it’s best little coffee/breakfast place that West New York has ever had. Wish them lot of success and hope they continue to grow. Go support this small business if you haven’t been there already. You won’t regret.

I ordered pancakes and sausage yesterday for delivery 6 silver dollars and 1 piece of something that looks like it was taken off an egg McMuffin. A dollar for a crappy sausage patty. Insane. Go anyplace else for breakfast, because this is overpriced and is garbage.

Yes I ate MAD!!! Lol… to start off I was lucky to find parking on the sidewalk, it’s a busy cross block neighborhood place feels like a Starbucks inside, only because when I walked in two people who ate were just sitting their on their phone and headphones on chilling. The place has awesome open feel with window seating, bench seating, and tables with one chair;other end couch booth seating… I didn’t look at what was on the menu, being a inner fat boy I already checked it out on the web lol, so like I went with the chicken guacamole bacon wrap with fries(with a Fanta orange) came out to about 12 $ish…the person the rang me up also braught me out my plate of goodness, and I liked that they had the steak sized fries not that puny stick fries know what I mean? M. odern A.merican D. eli right on the corner street… I guess i’lol leave you with… you MAD or nawww lol

I was scrolling through GrubHub, browsing menus, not happy with any of the options. But then, I came across this hidden gem and I do not regret my decision of ordering from M. A. D. Café!!! I ordered the chicken guacamole wrap with a side of fries and it realllyyyyy hit the spot!!! It was literally finger licking good. The delivery guy was friendly, on time and very cute :) Will order again!

Food was okay, we ordered French toast, with eggs and bacon(2 orders) along with mango smoothies(also 2 orders) and a bit sandwich, with fries. A bit pricey for breakfast. The food was yummy but the smoothies were not. At $ 4 a smoothie that we barley took a sip out of we asked the waitress if she could remake them, they were tart tasting and tasted like yogurt not even mango; her response was«that how we make them here some people like them and others don’t» and that was it she didn’t want to remake them or offer us another drink solution, so we sat there 15 – 20 min until she rudely left our $ 8 on the counter before walking off… I live right around the corner, will I go back? No

Sandwiches are extra delish! It’s St Pattys so I opted for the Irishman in NY… it would’ve been cuter if they put West NY. Wink wink. Corned beef with cabbage, pickles and mustard on toasted wheat. Sooo yummy. And I love sweet pot fries. Made the meal complete. My friend had the Guacamole Chix Wrap with regular fries. Very yummy too! I also ate the Broccoli Cheddar soup which did come out hot(temp)…thank goodness. Very tasty but it definitely needs work. It looks like it was put through a blender. I want to see small chunks of broccoli. And its more appealing if they would throw on a scoop of shredded cheddar on top so that it can melt as you eat it… Get creative! Lets try to work on service a little. I ordered the soup as an appetizer but it came out last. So now I had to eat the whole meal at the same time. The cashier girl is extra nice and cute, and server boy is attentive. Good job! Keep it up guys. I like the New owners already. The menu, look of store, and employees have a hipster style going on so they are very hospitable. The menu choices and names are awesome, made me smile and giggle. Thanks and I’ll definitely return.

Came across MAD(is it MAD or MAD café?) on a lazy Sunday morning while looking for places to have brunch. Since I’m new to the area, I’ve been looking for some cool spots to get into. MAD is exactly that; a laid-back hangout spot to get brunch with a friend or grab a coffee and enjoy the NYC skyline. While it’s very much a new place and still putting itself together, it has a very hip and trendy feel to it. From their simple but flavorful menu to their coffee bean burlap bag upholstery, I have a lot of faith that this place will establish itself as a mainstay in an area that is definitely up-and-coming. Most importantly, their food is simple, flavorful and cheap. You’ll get your fill for about $ 10, coffee included. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. One criticism I have is that, while a simple menu is good, I expected a little more from the french toast. It was a good size portion and tasted great, but it was just french toast. Some fresh fruit or other sort of topping would have been appreciated. But as I’ve said before, this place is still new and I have full confidence it’ll grow and get even better. Safe to say, I’ll be back soon.

I walked in and felt very welcome. The staff was friendly, informative, and happy. I ordered a carmel latte(only 1% or whole milk only(I drink 2%) and artichoke/mushroom quiche. I asked for extra carmel than normal and didn’t tasty carmel at all, but still tasty. I stayed and enjoy the environment. It was welcoming & peaceful with music in the background. Parking: blvd east and 60th street Seating: yes; high seats and tables Menu; cupcakes, cake, variety of pastries, sandwich and soup is offered, but my favorite burgers/fries(9 bucks). They offer a will rounded menu for anyone. Everything is made fresh in the back! They have delivery and pickup options. I suggest if you’re in the area check it out.
