It is so difficult to find authentic Cuban pizza in the area. La tinajita is hidden in a corner on a busy wny street and will be missed if you don’t look closely.
Their personal size pizzas are delicious, especially the Jamon y queso (hand and cheese), the plain one is also good. My favorite dish is the crema de queso, a cheddar based soup. This is something I have a heard time finding, since most places put broccoli in it. This cheddar cream soup is absolutely DELICIOUS!
Another favorite dish is the spaghetti with ham, these are very typical dishes that you would find in restaurants in Cuba that have tried to adapt American food to their menu.
Lastly, don’t forget to ask for a jupiña!
