RIPOFF. What a nightmare customer service experience. I dropped off a pair of cowboy boots and a pocketbook which needed 3 tiny screws in January. I called a week later to see if the boots had been polished. The owner said did I call you? Rude. I said I needed the boots for Nashville. He told me to come in two hours. I came in 2 ½ hours in a snowstorm and he said they were not ready and looked like I had two heads. I waited and he polished them. It is now THREE months later and he calls that my bag is ready. I had stopped in twice before to pick it up unrepaired and he said oh I can fix it. Sure, for $ 30CASH, more than the cost of the bag. He is unpleasant. I spoke with him on the phone, said I would be right over and he had another of his infamous signs on the door, be back in 10. He said he is so busy. Well, I would travel to NYC to a good shoemaker before I would be taken advantage of at his establishment ever again. Save yourself money and aggravation and look elsewhere.

I was in NJ visiting my family and went into Sole Solution looking to purchase a pair of Birkenstocks. The owner noticed my boots needed some TLC so i purchased the Birkenstocks and went home to grab another pair of boots. A few weeks later I received my boots via mail(I live in California). They looked like new! The soles were repaired, the heels looked like new and they looked polished as well! I was very satisfied with the purchase. As well as with my new Birkenstocks. Give Sole Solutions a try. I’m a tough critic and I was very pleased with my repair. The store also has the biggest variety of Birkenstocks I have seen in the US.

Waited 2 weeks to get a call back about my shoes, then when I gave up and called he told me that he would have called if they were done. Then offered to have them done by 5:30. They weren’t done when I arrived, he had me wait, and then for $ 15 I got my shoes back unrepaired. I don’t know why this place is even in business.

Store owner is dishonest and rude. Literally ignored me when I walked up to the counter. Looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if my repair could be done sooner rather than later. Also after telling me the repair was $ 25.00 and I gave him $ 30.00, he failed to give me my $ 5.00 change. Also, almost every time I tried to go to pick up my repair, there was a sign in the window saying«be back in an hour» or «be back at 2:30». I’m talking literally every time I went to the store. Please take your business elsewhere, to someone who respects their customers enough to treat them with honesty and politely.

Could not repair vibrams and was rude. Didnt greet me when i entered store. Was rude and gruff looking at my damaged Vibrams. Actually they need to be reglued and Joe O said he could not. Did not know about the Vibram recall. huh? Find another shoe repair shop.
