«Small town with a big heart.» That is what I would describe the Liberty Gathering Place as. Stopped in here after walking in the West Liberty Labor Day Parade last month. I had the pulled pork sandwich(which was homemade I think) with their fries. It was pretty tasty. If I ever make it back to West Liberty, I will have to stop by again. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Unilocalness! 5⁄5 stars

Outstanding lunch! Family of four looking for lunch after spending the first half of the day at Ohio Caverns. Pork tenderloin sandwich was so big it was cut in half and still hung over the side! Kids had French toast that was excellent! Salad bar was clean and fresh. Our server was incredibly nice! Pies made in house were phenomenal!

Stopped in after a full day of skiing at Mad River Mountain. The food was wonderful, and the service was fantastic. I had the roast beef and mashed potatoes and they were melt in your mouth good. The bison burger was delicious. My son had the pancake and he said it was perfection. We will definitely be coming back!

Okay, okay, I’m from Dayton, so what do I know? I know the best pancakes I’ve ever had, anywhere, although technically it’s a single, very, very large pancake. I know a great buffalo burger with crisp lettuce, crisp onion, crisp tomato and a crisp toasted bun. So, their fried green tomatos are not the best I ever had — they have them and they’re fine. You won’t be disappointed in the onion rings, either. Know what, to the extent some of their items are not the best I’ve ever had, I don’t think anyone has made those best items in more than twenty years, so if you want to at least have an inkling of what good local restaurant food used to be like, this may be your last best chance. Go there! Oh, and stop by the Ohio Caverns while you’re there.
