Austin Learning Center is an incredible, supportive place to interact with bright minds and find support for any academic endeavor, be it preparing for standardized tests to weekly review sessions for a challenging AP class. The entire staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their work; everyone is clearly dedicated to teaching and improving students’ learning outcomes. This is probably due to the fact that Becky, the owner, is THE most upbeat and cheerful individual! She constantly strives to improve the experiences for her students and staff. It’s no wonder the center has consistently won the best tutoring center award in Austin for years… Students learn not because they are forced but because at ALC, learning is interactive, interesting, and supported!

My son hated school until we found Austin Learning Center! He enjoyed going there and loved all of his tutors! They truly care about each student and do what ever is needed to help them achieve to their best abilities. They go beyond just teaching and come up with long term plans and goals. They are a wonderful group of people! ALC was recommended to me by one of my son’s parents and after 4 years I would highly recommend them for any and all educational help.

ALC is one of the best places for tutoring. It offers private at home tutoring or at the center — which is good if you need something more flexible. The people who work there are really sweet and offer so much assistance. Everyone there is really helpful and will find a solution to any problem you have in any subject!

I can’t say enough good things about ALC. They have really focused on my son’s reading and writing needs and tailored a learning plan to his strengths/​weaknesses. His tutor does a great job engaging and motivating him along the way. In fact, he loves ALC and looks forward to his lessons every week. Our family is definitely glad to have ALC as a learning resource for our son!
