My family has had property in the area for more than three decades and for all those years we got a variety of shoes at the Friendly Shoe Store. Now I take my two children and wife there too. Tap shoes for baby girl, hiking shoes for my son. Great selection, fantastic prices — probably West Jefferson’s best kept secret. We love shopping there rather than visit chain stores and we go back every time we are in town.

Great, low pressure shoe store. Kind of like walking off of Main Street in Mayberry, NC and getting some real friendly service and honest to goodness help.
Great store to go to and a pretty decent selection of shoes as well.
