One of my made to measure clothing store is right around the order. I love starting my day by going in to Coffee Bean every morning. The staff is always so friendly and greets me every day by name. They know my order and the moment they see me, start preparing it. As a person that owns a company based on customer service, I understand that not just the product, but the experience is equally important that you have in the business. This is consistently provided day after day with this store. Jamie, the Store Manager, is always an amazing example to her employees. She is always smiling, greeting everyone, and taking time to talk with you and make sure that everything is taken care of. When things get busy, she is the first to jump in and assist. It makes starting my morning so much more enjoyable!

location here is gorgeous, the place is newly renovated, and theres always public parking nearby. The americano coffee here tastes amazing and is super strong. My preference is a large iced americano, DRY(which means NO added water), with one scoop NSA vanilla. Add a splash of skim milk and it’s heaven. The only problem with this location is the lack of coffee lingo knowledge most of the employees have. Multiple times: those taking my order are confused when I say DRY or they don’t understand when I say«PLEASE do not add water to my espresso to make it more dilute». I usually have to watch the person make my coffee, and a few times I’ve caught them adding water to my americano or use the regular vanilla. If only they paid a little more attention to my order, I’d be happy. Other than that, their vanilla powder here is amazing!!!

Across the street from their cousins, Starbucks. I went to both to compare. I believe this place(The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf) has a much better environment. It’s coffee is also better. Soft background music, friendly staff, and multiple seating arrangements makes it a very good place; obviously in addition to good coffee. On a corporate level… I think they need to slowly change their name to something easier and shorter for easier marketing.

I have been working a lot in here because of the summer heat. It is a great refuge– I used to go to Starbucks by my house– no longer– this place is way beter because its smaller, quieter, cooler, and the internet is faster with no drop outs. The staff is friendly and efficient. Only drawback is that it costs to park at the meters so if you are there for hours, it does cost. But all in all, I like the vibe and the energy there.

Our experience in this store is consistently awful! They are very good at always getting our orders wrong. What makes it worse is that no one knows or bother to apologize. They would give you a look as if they don’t understand what you are saying and that you are bothering them. The cashier service is always good(but not as great as Starbucks across the street), I guess because they are taking your money. When it’s time to claim your drink, the baristas are just monsters! The last straw for us was last week. So, it was the same good experience with the cashier who greeted us and took our order and asked if we wanted pastries(the usual upselling). Then, when the barista announced our drinks, we can hardly understand what she was saying. The girl can’t even pronounce what you guys are selling. She tried to dismiss us by looking away. So I asked her what the drinks are specifically, what she told me was unheard of, she said«what you ordered,» then turned her head away — I was stunned! So I pointed to each drink and asked her to tell me once again what each drink is. And of course, she got one of them wrong. I ordered a White mocha latte and she was going to give me a Winter’s dream(or something similarly named). So I told her what I ordered and she just said«oh!» no «I’m so sorry, I’ll make you another one,» no nothing. She just went ahead and make my drink and did not even warm up the milk that she used on my coffee. She gave me my drink and said«have a happy new year.» Really? What a great way to start the year. I was hoping she would at least redeem herself by apologizing or thanking me for the wait, but, again none of those. This location is very ghetto, not because of the way the store looks(it’s actually very nicely renovated, but because of the staff.

Slow. Slow. Slow. How is it this place can be so large, yet provides the worst service.

This Coffee Bean location is alot bigger than the location on 3rd/La CIenega and has more ample seating and amenities. While the Coffee Bean on 3rd/La Cienega DOES have a fire pit, this location has more outlets to sit and work than 3rd street. The staff is very prompt and friendly in taking orders. Café is kept clean and cool especially during these hot summer months. Condiments were well stocked and organized. Overall a convenient location in the Beverly Center area. I’d say if you’re craving some Coffee Bean drinks and you’re by the Beverly Center and don’t mind walking just a bit, walk over to this location. If you don’t want to walk too far then there’s always 3rd street but that location might be more crowded and busier than this Coffee Bean.

Based solely on their customer service*** Rude! Rude. Rude. Rude!!! The drinks are made/taste like any other coffee bean, but the service is just rude. Today, just ticked me off, and I’m for sure never going to this particular Coffee Bean ever again. I asked for an extra cup of ice(I wish I took her name), & the barista half-assed it and only gave me half a cup of ice. She didn’t give me a lid with it, so I asked if I could have a lid for it. She just looked at me, looked for a lid, slammed the drink stoppers that were in the way of the lids and threw the lid at me, and walked away. I’m telling you right now, if you can make the best drinks, but your customer service sucks, best believe I’m walking away. It’s not like Mayflower in Chinatown where there’s a serious language barrier; these people can clearly speak English, and yet, they choose to be jerks.

Love this Coffee Bean. Bright and sunny location on the corner of Beverly and Robertson. Marky is an absolute gem and remembers my order, and never fails to say hello! Almost always see a celebrity at this spot, today ran into James Novak from Scandal. Just watched the episode where he dies, so it’s like he came back to life in the flesh. So that was cool. Coffee here tastes way better than the sad and tired Starbucks across the street. Vanilla latte is life. Five stars!

This Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf(on the corner of Beverly Blvd and Robertson) is the best one around in this area. It is always bright and sunny and has a much nicer décor than some of the others(especially the one on 3rd& La Cienega… which needs to be re-vamped). I typically walk to this location; however, I always seem to be able to find parking… without much hassle… in their parking lot(with paid meters) or on the residential streets(but you need to make sure that you mind the parking times). In general, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has much better tasting coffee than Starbuck’s. I don’t do dairy and I don’t like a sweet latte. Coffee Bean offers an un-sweetened soy milk…(UNLIKE Starbuck’s which has a horrible soy milk that is tooooo sweet).

I thought this place was getting better when new management rolled in, but it seems she has since rolled on and they are left worse than before. I understand that the lines get backed up in the mornings, but skipping me and instead helping THREE people who were behind me simply because they were ordering food as well is absurd. After being skipped over and then finally ordering, I watched as my drink was initially missed, then made wrong, and finally I settled for my lukewarm latte to get out ASAP. This location needs new management quickly before I start crossing the street to Starbucks.

Not my favorite coffee bean this far. I ordered my favorite iced hazel nut latte and they gave me blended which normally is fine when they fix it, however they didn’t communicate well. No one apologized and they just left the old one sitting there. Maybe it was an off chance … I will be back cause I love coffee bean!

Enjoy the staff here, there is never really a wait, you can get in and out quicker than going to Starbucks. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because coffee bean is a little more costly than Starbucks, doesn’t have same kind of food selection, and no rewards program within a app for my phone.
