Emily is seriously the best in LA, and this is coming from a hair stylist! She does some of the best extensions I’ve ever had, hands down the best color, and the best/​most creative haircuts. She has a clientele of a dozen hair stylists and makeup artists, and thats the true test of a great stylist.
The space is amazing, the parking is as good as it gets, her prices are great, and you seriously feel so cool after she does your hair.

I just started reviewing on Unilocal,and Studio 31 was top on my list of first reviews. The owner Emily has been my stylist for 2 years. My hair was so damaged years ago from extensions and color. Over the past years she has kept up with my ever changing hair colors, styles, extensions and extreme cuts. Best thing is she has restored the health of my hair completely, while never depriving me of a new style. She found me the right extensions that don’t damage my hair and is a remarkable color artist. She truly is a sculptor of hair. Anything I can dream she can create. I have trusted her for my best friends wedding, my man, my mother, and most of all, the many phases of me. I cannot recommend this artist enough. She knows how to make you look your best and she listens to what you want.
No matter the look. Emily is the best! 5 stars all the way.

Like every girl in LA I rock hair extensions (yes ladies lets not lie we all have fake hair). I have tried everything from clipping them in everyday to sitting in a chair for 8 hours having tiny little bonds put all over my head just to have it taken out 3 months later and go through the entire long process again. Mind you I can’t reuse the hair so that’s another couple thousand down the drain.
Enter Emily and Skin Wefts… Not only is all my hair put in in about an hour. It stays in great for about 6⁄7 weeks… Then back to Emily I go… She takes them out re tapes them and back in they go. In and out in no time and I have been able to re use that hair for about 6 months. Yes I need to get them done more often but the amount of money I save on re using the amazing hair is well worth it.
Her studio is beautiful, she plays great music and above all is a blast to talk to!
Thank You Thank You Thank You Emily!!! You will have my hair in your hands for life!
