Creepy, super rude guys. Stopped in around 11AM to get Sunday paper(published on Saturday as ‘Weekend’ paper). Usually get it at Pavilions or Gelson’s, Pavilions didn’t have their delivery yet. I’m well-spoken, friendly and pleasant. You’d have thought I was a homeless drunk the way I was treated. Guys tried to tell me there was no Saturday ‘Weekend’ paper — that I’ve been buying every week for 13 years. Would also have picked up some soda and perhaps snacks, due to their attitude I left without response. Place also didn’t look inviting, and 2 sketchy characters were standing outside the front door. Yeah, welcome them and not a nice customer. Great business policy.

The person working here was very accommodating to me for my alcohol needs. Vodka, check. Tonic water, check. Fresh lemons, check. Knife to slice a lemon on-the-go, check. Hey, what more can you ask of a place like this?

Super Handy & Convenient with one of the few late hour options in West Hollywood. I am always surprised by the back isle where they have almost everything you might need in a pinch(like a 99c store selection all on a few shelves) phone accessories, tools, tape, bathroom clean/repair. plus a lot more)

You need snacks, liquor, pop? Go to this party store. They are always open, early and late. They are even open during Gay Pride Parade, Halloween, and other holidays. Way more convenient than the grocery or drug store. Always support the small mom-n-pop stores. They’re the best.

You’d think that a liquor store in the middle of West Hollywood on the Main Street leading to all the gay bars would have a stellar selection of liquor. WRONG! I was shocked at this dump. The selection was poor, and they sold non-alcoholic items like stationary supplies. It’s basically a «CVS reject.» Even the real CVS across the street had a better selection – not to mention a better atmosphere – than this hole in a wall.

It’s always open and they have everything. The two guys that run the place are super nice too. I’d rather give them my business than the CVS across the street any day.

Some things they have I didn’t even realize I needed until I walked in! A new set of dry erase markers and a box of Cocoa Cocoa puffs?!? Brilliant, just made my night that much better. Now I’m organizing my week on a white board, wondering how I’ve gone so long without Cocoa Cocoa Puffs(because they rock!) all the while sipping on my cherry flavored vodka always kept in stock for me and retrieved from the back without hesitation the second I walk in. This is love Not to mention the giddiness I feel going in, wondering what treasure I’m gonna find next… new ping pong balls or perhaps a new set of cookware?;p Who knows! Now if they start selling vibrators(talk about a one stop shop for a girl’s night in!) I will become their official spokes person

This place is fast, easy and convenient if you are in a rush and don’t want to wait in line at any of the nearby grocery stores. There are loading zone spots right in front that are always available! The store also has okay prices for a quick spree.

DON’T BUY Champagne from here! My boyfriend & I were in beverly hills one night & the hours for selling liquor close down early so we decided to drive down the street to West Hollywood & find a liquor store that sold nice Wines & Champagne… We ended up here & found that they sell Veuve Clicquot. [Of course it was locked up in a fridge case]… So we asked the man working there to open the case for us so that we could buy it. He said«No those are just for display, I have one behind the counter that is exactly the same.» He pulls out the bottle from behind the counter & the label was a different color, instead of the orangish label that it usually is, it was yellow. He assured us it was the same bottle & that the light from the fridge he had it in must have changed the label… We just wanted to get out of there & bring the bottle home & drink it, so we trust the man and did. My boyfriend spent around $ 150.00 for the bottle. We left & went to his place and opened it up… sure enough the champagne taste like shit. Complete scam! The bottle he had sold us was a «knock off» bottle of champagne! Seriously creepy & weird that people can actually get away with that, which is why I’m warning anyone who goes there… who knows what other knock off stuff they sell… Cigarettes… etc. GROSS! Be careful… Luckily he got a refund from his bank, but honestly what a Bullshit Liquor store!!!

Stopped over here to get some water and cigarettes… im never coming back and i’ll tell you why: the cashier didn’t acknowledge me for about 3 minutes while i was standing in front of him, he was talking on the phone. I patiently waited till he’s done telling his friend how he’s day is going. after he hangs up i dont hear«hi, how are you?» or something but instead i hear«What?». «What do you mean what?» i asked. «What u want» he said. i understand that u might be having a horrible day or something, but i was having a good one before i stopped here! So i told him what i need and he gave stuff that i asked for like he was doing me HUGE favor… I just walked out of that place and didnt buy anything. I understand that is not a restaurant or something but have you heard what hospitality means? but at least i’ll make a purchase at a place that treats ppl right, i better give my $ 10 that i was gonna spend for cigarettes and water to someone who’s nice and cares about their business :)

Very sad beer and wine selection. Better off going to Trader Joe’s down the street, which is what I ended up doing.

You know how it is. Sometimes it’s late(or early, whatever), and you just don’t want to drive all the way to the supermarket to buy your groceries(*cough* booze and condoms *cough*), so you hit up the corner liquor store. Monaco Liquor really is the quintessential corner liquor store. No, it’s neither the cleanest nor prettiest liquor store of all time, but what liquor store is staffed by an upstairs and downstairs maid, in addition to a butler, driver, gardener, and nanny? Maybe liquor stores on the royal peninsula of Monaco, but not Monaco Liquor. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. The clerks(I’ll assume there’s more than one, though they are a rare breed here, as they are at all liquor stores) won’t ask questions, and they won’t judge. It’s the benefit of paying high prices — you get mum’s-the-word service. Yes, there is the typical — and expected — liquor store markup for all the basics, so if you’re looking to save money on purchasing toilet paper or cans of lentil soup, it’s better to wait until Trader Joe’s opens in the morning. Potato chips, Crown Royal, M&Ms, Bic lighter, copy of US Weekly, miniature Mexican flag, and porn magazine. Ring it up. Thanks, nameless-clerk-with-the-mustache. You’ve got that poker-face down, PERFECTLY.

Hands down the best liquor store in town. Better than 7 Eleven… especially since they carry booze! Liquor: They have a huge selection of alcohol, ranging from the not-so-pricey, all the way to the Crystals and Louis XIIIs and higher. They carry the tiny hotel bottles all the way to the big bottles. Grocery: They have a good sized grocery store available with tons of snacks, sodas, drinks, personal items(such as deodorant, razors, and much more). Nice selection of magazines and videos are also available. Service: Very quick. If you want to just pop in for a quick bottle or snack, this is what they’re known for. Forget the grocery store lines. Jump out of your car, run in, run back out. It’s that quick. Overall: I am a long time customer and love this place. I go there for quick stops and also go there to buy alcohol and groceries when I am having guests at my place. 5 stars all the way!
