UnFried Chicken /lemonade = omg. Great prices, friendly staff, nice little location for a quick bite. I’m into it. Glad you guys are in the neighborhood ! :)

I waited 20 minutes for soup. It was the corn chowder and to be fair it was an excellent soup, but they do not make it as you wait. It is literally just poured from a bain marie into a bowl. It is ridiculous to wait 20 minutes when the restaurant is nearly empty. I also ordered a veggie burger to go which was supposed to come out after my soup. I imagine the kitchen got mixed up somehow, although I believe the man who took my order specifically went to the kitchen and told them how I wanted my food to come out. The front of house that was friendly, however, I did not get my food until I actually went to the counter and asked for it. It looked like my food has been sitting there for awhile. No idea how long it would have taken if I had not gone to the counter. On top of that, the veggie burger was on the low end of mediocre. You know what I mean, you order a burger and you expected to taste burger-y or vegerable-y or at the very least I don’t know good? The problem with vegan burgers is sometimes they taste like«health food». Not healthy food, the kind of bland mess you get from places that put sprouts on everything on the menu. This tastes like that. I would not order it again. To be honest, I will not be visiting this location again. I don’t know if I will visit any lyfe kitchen again with how underwhelmed I was by their veggie burger and service.

I love this place for so many reasons: 1. Yummy food 2. Healthy food 3. Free wifi 4. Outlets near certain tables 5. Friendly staff 6. Quiet writing environment I hate this place for one reason: They changed their hours, and I can no longer come here for breakfast almost every morning! I mourn the loss of my Lyfe yogurt bowls. But I still come here for a healthy working lunch any chance I get.

In live with their veggie burger and juices, both the orange and the pomegranate with ginger are amazing and all I came in for at this location. Service was nice, prices fair and the drinks were perfect. Location is clean and bright, modern and simple interior. Nice menu not just for veggie lovers, healthy food and drinks that won’t weigh you down the rest of the day!

I have walked by LYFE many times and have always wanted to try it. I try to eat health consciously, at the very least appreciating healthy options. The space is huge, lots of comfortable seating and very clean. They grow their own herbs. The menu has lots to choose from and calories are all listed. I came for breakfast — I had Turkey Sausage, Potato Hash and a cucumber water all for $ 9. The prices overall I thought were very fair. It’s not very busy which worries me if they will stay in business. I hope they do! I’ll definitely be back. Overall I give it 4 stars because it’s a good, decent spot worth good food and great prices.

We got an chicken Indian curry based on the cashiers recommendation, and a fish sandwich and kale salad. My curry was way too salty and too many green peace, and for the portion $ 14 is not worth it at all. My friend’s fish was dry and way too salty. That concludes me that the cashier just pushed me to buy one of the most expensive dishes in the restaurant. This type of service is I believe the worst. I can just order the most expensive one without asking the cashier. I wanted to like this place because of its proximity but another place crossed off from my list. Also, for the kale salad, there was no kale in it. There was liter very few people there, so I don’t know how they could messed up the order. I have no idea why other reviews are decent. Maybe organic factors? Maybe they had a bad day. Not coming back.

I ate here last night for the first time. I’m a vegan, my boyfriend is not and we both enjoyed it. I had the ancient grain stir fry which was healthy and satiating. The restaurant was casual but had nice booths to sit in. It’s a step up from veggie grill in regard to ambiance but not too fancy. There were only a few other tables filled on a Saturday night which made me nervous that the place isn’t doing well but hopefully word of mouth will bring it new customers. I definitely want to come back for Sunday brunch.

Slow service during lunch«rush» at 2pm. The store was nearly empty and they had four food runners and two people working the cash register. Small portions. Over-priced. But it does taste good so there ya go.

The breakfast sandwich is great! The $ 1.50 turkey sausage add-on was a bit strange to me. You’d figure something like that would come with the patty… nonetheless the sandwich was very tasty and I enjoyed a banana/kale smoothie along with it on the house. Very clean environment with greens on display that greet you when you open the front door. The prices are very reasonable compared to other joints of it’s nature. A low key, hip, very modern, fresh ingredient restaurant that is worth a try!

Great food and location! I would definitely recommend it. If you’re in the area and looking for some healthy options, check it out. The grilled veggie salad is my favorite along with the veggie burger.

Only healthy place to eat in the area. Had the kale Caesar with Mahi. Delicious and healthy. Just get the sauce on the side. Also the ginger mint chia is surprisingly delicious. Definitely coming back here.

It’s great when you’re there… but the food does not travel well. Take-out burger was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. But — I have eaten there and the food is much better served fresh/immediately on site. Avoid the take out.

The first time I ate at Lyfe Kitchen, I was unimpressed by my fare, especially given its price tag. Sure, the salad was fine, but I could have made it myself at home for a tenth of the price. What’s more is that I got some moldy taste in there. I wasn’t planning on trying it again(nor writing a review, quite frankly), but I stayed late at work one night and Lyfe ended up being a decent healthy option at the time. Unfortunately, for $ 15, my meal was sub-par. I did enjoy the mahi mahi. It was juicy and meaty, just as good fish should be. But the rest of the salad was, again, just fine. If I’m looking for a healthy dinner option in the future, I doubt I’ll return to Lyfe Kitchen. There are plenty of other options in the area that will meet my taste and price standards.

I really wanted to like it because it is near my office, but after trying about 6 things on their menu(over a few months), I am confident that the food I was served is pretty typical of their establishment. This restaurant itself is really clean and fresh feeling, but the food is just ‘ok’. Most things are served in small portions, and usually it’s not very hot on the plate when it arrives. My biggest complaint is that everything seems to be lacking flavor. Healthy food can still be flavorful! I will say that the salads are good and the salmon was a good portion, but the sandwiches and other entrees feel overpriced for what you get.

Worst and slowest service ever. Last time we waited about 20 minutes for our salad and cheeseburger but decided to give it another try. This time it was over 40 minutes and we still had no food. Meanwhile they made to go orders. Got our money back and went next door to Mendocino Farms. We will never be back again. This location needs to get their shit together and quick.

I wanted to like this place as it’s down the street from my office and it looked healthy and delicious, but a co-worker and I just ordered from there and I think it’s safe to say I will not be returning. My wrap was laughably small– I was still hungry after. There was probably 2oz of chicken in it, it was cold, and falling apart. Did not even taste great. The«side salad» it came with was old wilted spinach, drenched in some awful citrus? dressing. Way too much. They forgot the dressing on the other salad we ordered(kale caesar) and since we got take out, it was too late to do anything about it so it had to be eaten completely dry/raw. Not okay. My other experience here was getting a smoothie which was nothing but bananas and dates and sugar and cost me $ 5. Not worth it. Go to Mendocino or Food Lab just down the street for a meal 100x better.

Lyfe Kitchen is life! So far, everything I’ve tried has been really good. I usually get the Chicken, Mushroom & Penne. And make sure to get the Baked Sweet Potato Fries(so yummy!!!) The smoothies are pretty good, but if alcohol is your drink of choice, they also carry local craft beer & wine on tap. L ove Y our F ood E veryday

I always walk by this place and have only stopped in for the ginger pomegranate lemonade, which is pretty great! I came in for the guacamole and chips today and also got their bananas a date smoothie at the cashier’s recommendation. The guacamole and chips at first seemed to not have a lot of chips! But the chips are big and I was able to finish all the guacamole with the chips given. The chips were big and are a thicker cut. I personally tend to prefer a thinner chip, so wasn’t overly into the large, thick cut chips here. They are gluten free, though! The guacamole and chips also came with a fruity salsa that I thought tasted pretty good! Decent enough snack, not the best guacamole and chips I have had, though! The banana date smoothie was fantastic! I would definitely come back just for the smoothie! Great recommendation from the cashier. It wasn’t something I would have usually ordered, but it was phenomenal. Overall, the place is great for a lunch/afternoon casual dining place. Worth checking out and worth coming back to. I’ll have to come back and try a real meal from here! They also do have coffee and tea :)

I had dinner here on a Thursday night. I’m guessing there were about 8 – 10 other parties dining here at the time. It was pretty late. I ordered the grilled farmhouse burger with a side of sweet potato fries and an iced tea. Overall, it was a very healthy meal. Definitely didn’t feel guilty after eating all of it. The food didn’t take long to arrive after placing my order at the counter. There’s plenty of parking in the garage. The first hour is free. There’s no validation for the businesses within the west hollywood gateway area.

I really love the quality of food here! I’ve been there 2 times already and it never seems to fail. The staff is very helpful as well and they make great recommendations. Today, they accidentally brought me regular chicken, instead of gluten free chicken, and they deeply apologized for the mistake and gave me a $ 5 gift card. That was an unexpected touch that felt great! The manager was very nice and courteous.

Great, spacious place with tons of healthy options. Actually gave this place a shot because there was a line at Mendocino Farms and we saw fish tacos on the menu… sold. Indoor and outdoor seating, seems like a great place for group lunches especially since you order, pay and then take your seat(no bill splitting business). This is in the same complex as the WeHo Target, BevMo, etc.

I had the roasted veg salad. I added the grilled lime tofu. The salad was underwhelming. I am upset by this because the last 2 times I visited I had a great dining experience. The salad was overdressed, and on the small side given the nearly $ 13 price tag. The roasted vegetable was the least represented item on the salad, and it’s the name of it. I was hungry an hour later. This will not deter future visits, but I really needed to add this to my review. I will revisit, and re-review it once I have tried something else. I likely will not order this salad again. Sad because it has many of my favorite components. I like this restaurant a lot, and it is with that in mind that I must say this. It’s what earned the 4 stars, and not the 5 star review. I have been to the Tarzana location twice about a year ago before I was such an active Unilocaler. This is my first visit to the West Hollywood location, and it is also new in the neighborhood. I enjoy this restaurant. It’s healthy, and fresh. More restaurants should be this focused. I enjoy the menu items they have such as many gluten free, as well as many options that can be made vegan. The restaurant is bright, open and inviting. Staff is courteous, and friendly. One of the managers even brought my friend’s dog a water. Nice touch.

A spacious, trendy restaurant whose healthy menu will give you the joy of eating out, but not the guilt of gluttony. As a vaguely healthy eater, I was pleased with the options here. The menu is very versatile; they have burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, wine and beer and so on. What makes this place stand out from Tender Greens or Lemonade is that everything on the menu is under 600 calories and under 1000mg of sodium. Another advantage is that this place doesn’t suck. Now, I like a full meal like any other red-blooded American man. Though tempted by the prospect of a burger, beer, and chips and guacamole, which you can all get here, my healthier instincts prevailed. I shared a chicken sandwich and mahi mahi fish tacos with a friend and also sampled a «flatbread»(a thin pizza). I was a little concerned that the low calories would correlate with a meager, unfilling meal, but I was surprised to find myself quite content. As for the taste, I really liked everything I had. I was impressed with the flatbread, whose tomato sauce was really quite rich. The mahi mahi’s breading and zesty kick really hit the spot; the chicken sandwich was the weaker of the two. For the health conscious, I imagine this place would be a godsend. For the rest of us, it’s a pretty tasty spot. Definitely recommend.

Lyfe is guaranteed to lift your spirits and taste buds. Some of the most creative and yummy dishes come from within their high end kitchen. All of the dishes are under 600 calories per dish and under 1000mgs of sodium which is amazing. Love seeing in Hollywood that healthy eating is becoming the new hip trend. My favorite dish is the Thai Red Curry Bowl with Chicken or Tofu(great either way). Stopping in for a Kale Banana smoothie and a Banana Budino will ignite your taste-o-meter. Cheers to Lyfe WeHo!
