Jillian Toohey, C.Ht

I just had an amazing Reiki healing session with Jillian at the Chiropractic Health and Wellness CCenter at 1042 N. Fairfax in West Hollywood. I haven’t had Reiki in years. I had forgotten what an «energy healing» session was like!
I had a car accident in February and suffered a concussion. I have been having pain in my neck, in my spine and low back. Also lots of anxiety and sleep problems.
Jillian had me lay down on a warm massage table, the lights were dim and light music was playing. First she guided me in what she called a «progressive muscle relaxation» — having me relax various body parts. This was very relaxing. Then She said she was going to do healing without touching my body, then she would do the Reiki portion which involved the placing of hands at various parts of my body. I have to say — I was very relaxes and drifted in and out of a light sleep. I could hear myself lightly snoring and I felt waves of energy over me. When I woke up 55 minutes later, I felt as if I had just stepped out of an Energy «shower» of sorts — clean and fresh and light. I hadn’t had much sleep the night before, and I was able to work until 8pm without feeling fatigue!
I really enjoyed my session and I look forward to more «Energy» healing with Jillian!
Also — she has a very light, sweet energy to her which was welcoming and before I left she encouraged me to remind myself and utilize some affirmations. I highly recommend this experience!
