I love cecconi’s, one of my LA go to places. Everytime, I always enjoy the food and the service. EVerything is pretty fair priced. I went in on sunday, and it was a group of 6. We got a bottle of champagne and some food(I highly recommend the octopus). Our waiter Ben was AWESOME. He is very charismatic, attentive, and just over all awesome. By far the best service I have had there.

A little to much hype about this place. But there are things you need to try here. We showed up here on a Monday about 4:00pm and the place was empty. Kind of nice since we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The Service is Amazing! There is not much I can say about that. Without having to ask before I even know it they were there to do anything we needed. The décor just waiting to get some of the best I have ever been to. Their covered patio is sooooooo beautiful. Even the inside has a special look to it. Everything just seams to fit together. We started off with the Gnocchi, Fried olives and the Calamari. Gnocchi — Looks unbelievably amazing! Is is covered in baked cheese all over in a cheese sauce. I was a little surprised that there were only like 5 of them on the plate. This I would have to give a 4 of 5. Fried Olives — I would come back here and pay all over again just to get these again. Some of the best food I have had in a very long time. For $ 7 for 5 of them, I should have taken 5 orders to go with me. Perfectly fried all over steaming hot juices just waiting to explode in your mouth. They have a little bit of cheese and meat in the middle for flavor purposes. This has to be a 10 of 5 if that is possible. GETTHESE! Calamari — This was nothing special, Don’t get me wrong it was very good but, nothing to what you are expecting at this kind of place for $ 15. There is better calamari in a lot of other places. The dish is not huge but not small either, an ok amount I guess. Not worth buying! have to give it a 3 of 5. Pizza — We shared the Italian meat, artichoke heart and cooked mushrooms. Now for $ 20, It is a decent sized to share after appetizers and the cheese and bread they use are perfect. 4 of 5. Now if you really want to know what to get here, GOSTRAIGHTFORTHECOCKTAILS. We must have had 6 different kinds and every one was beyond fantastic! At $ 15 a pop, your paying what you would almost everywhere else around that area so load up if you want. Their wine list is massive. So many different kinds. easy a 5 of 5. Enjoy! TIP — You can park across the street for I think $ 5 if you don’t mind a little walk, but if you just want to go with the flow and when in Rome, Just pay the $ 10 they charge at the front door. So Bring Cash. TIP — The driveway comes up on you very fast. Very fast and it is very small as well. So keep a close eye out and drive a little slower when you get a little closer. It’s a long block to go around again…

I came here with my family and we experienced the worst service from about three seemingly bored and unhappy waiters and even one manager! I had to keep getting up and asking several people if I can have a glass of water, a napkin, etcetera. They got our orders wrong and on and on. Not to mention, some of the portion sizes AR disproportionately small when compared to the price. I don’t need petite sizes I mean really really tiny that don’t make any sense, LOL. Other than that, the Ambiance is absolutely gorgeous! And the food did taste good.

The most amazing lamb ragu I’ve ever had. I can seriously eat it once a week! Sooo as you can read in my previous review, I was not a fan. I guess I just don’t like their breakfast/brunch. After giving this place many many chances, the ambiance has really grown on me, the service, the staff/manager are very nice and attentive. However, I’ve had to wait a it longer than liked even after having made a reservation. Dinner is wonderful here, after having played around with the menu options. Pizzas are all great, the grilled veggies are wonderful, the bread and cheese is amazing and they have a wide selection of wines and cocktails. If I can make one suggestion it’s definitely try the lamb ragu!

We had a nice night out at Cecconi’s. We showed up at around 9.30pm without a booking and the place was still packed — positively heaving! We got our names on the waiting list but managed to find 2 seats at the bar. Despite the fact that things were clearly hectic(borderline crazy) behind it, we got excellent service from a very efficient and pretty Pocahontas-hairstyled waitress. Our 2 margaritas were prepared swiftly and tasted perfect. Our water glasses were promptly refilled without us ever having to ask. Our food order was taken correctly and served as requested. Parmesan was offered with our pasta before we had to ask for it. Same for the dessert menu and dessert — they were proffered at exactly the right time. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio with my main course and I can absolutely recommend it — fruity, refreshing and light, it ticked all my boxes and was furthermore served at the right temperature and very generously. Food quality was overall very good: we had the kale salad, 2 pastas and the profiteroles with hazelnut ice cream, topped up with an americano coffee. The salad was really good — loved the apple, parmesan and nuts. Dressing could have been a tiny bit more zingy/stronger in taste though. Maybe an additional touch of balsamic vinegar or peppery lemon juice? The lamb pasta was excellent and the vegetable tortelli in asparagus and tomato sauce very good(not my favorite of all time but definitely fragrant and well prepared). I did find the lamb pasta portion to be significantly smaller than the tortelli portion, but it ended up working well for us. And also regret that the bolognese pasta dish was no longer available. The profiteroles were very good too — the hazelnut ice cream was of top quality(not too sweet, not too creamy — fresh yet tasty) and the hot chocolate sauce was perfect! And I loved the fact that the coffee was brought in a pot that allowed for at least 3 servings — just what we needed to finish off the meal. So despite the hectic and slightly noisy atmosphere and the beautifully over the top patrons, this meal turned out to be exactly what we wanted to experience in LA.

I have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions and it was always very pleasant but my experience this last time was just horrific. It took more than 20 min just to get my drink. The first drink was so bad I had to give it back. It was like a 2 year old made it. So opted for something safe. Red wine. Again another 15 min passed and I finally received my glass. I got steak tartar which had great flavor. It came with an qual egg which I first thought they forgot to add. Then I found it deep buried in the meat. Glad I found it because I would have crutches down on the shell. That would not have been a pleasant experience. We were not all served at the same time. When my friends meal came the waiter thought to take a short cut and squeeze between my seat and people standing at the bar. By doing this I actually got hit in the back of my head with a plate. This was rather painful. But the fact that no one even asked if I was okay was just appalling. Once I was done I requested my portion of the bill so I can go home and take some Advil’s. We were a group of 6 people so tip was included in the bill. See this is exactly why I wish restaurants did not do this. I had beyond bad service from a waiter who could care less because he was guaranteed a 20% tip. Outrageous

Last night my girls and I decided to do happy hour last minute. We were looking for something classy. I picked Cecconi it seemed to be close to all of us and none of us had been. Valet was awesome. The attendants were so nice and polite. I felt bad my car was no clean oh well. Interesting start to my evening. Got there at 6.15pm and headed straight to the bar. There were a couple of scattered seats. The bartender pointed to one. I walked up. Asked if it was taken. The guy next to me said«Oh I am holding this for someone». Who by the way was running 20 mins late. Oh well so much for keeping Chivalry alive. What a douche. I told the bartender I would stand. No biggie I was waiting for my friends to park. The maître Danielle was walking by overheard. Bless her heart. She was like I can offer you a table by the bar. So you do not have to stand.(Yes my stilettos were high) Talk about customer service and going above and beyond. Danielle sat us down. She was very personal, eye contact was spot on. Impeccable service above and beyond. Stephanie dropped off our menus. We placed our orders. I was impressed she remembered all our orders without writing anything down. You go girl. She was on it. We never had to ask for water or drinks to be replenished. She was very knowable about the menu. Happy hour turned into dinner Danielle stopped by a couple of times to check on us every time she walked guests to the tables. Special shout out to I think her name was Jenica. Or Jessica. Awesome hostess. Checked on us too. I felt like I was a VIP. No joke. That is the kind of service that will make me go back to this restaurant. Service like that builds customer loyalty. To the managers that hire/train the staff at Cecconis. Well done. You take customer service to a whole other level. because of this my experience was fantastic. I enjoyed the food and time with my friends. Food was great. Kudos to the chef. Great ambience. I cannot wait to come back Thank you for a memorable Tuesday. I am not sorry for this long review. It is well deserved.

Quite a beautiful restaurant. Prime location and people watching. For me, food was just ok. We ordered the most popular items including kale salad, lobster spaghetti, and hazelnut profiteroles. A solid 3.5 for food. But I was not blown away by any means, especially for the price. The hype is for its popularity. I think it’s a great date place and I liked the openness of the bar area. Make reservations and ask for a seat outside.

Made a reservation for 1:30 on a Sunday, but we waited until 2pm to be sat. Wasn’t thrilled about the 30mins wait– but alas, it was quite alright as we got comfortable at the beautiful bar, ordered a couple of their delicious signature cocktails and sat back to enjoy the people watching. We had been told the people watching is great at this infamous brunch spot, and I couldn’t agree more! As for the food, it was wonderful. We ordered the ricotta cakes(yum), the green eggs(wow), and the baked eggs(more please)! The portions aren’t oversized, which I love, and I think it was reasonably priced. Aside for the wait, the service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our visit.

Cecconi’s is the kind of place people go to in movies when dining in LA. It’s classy, private, and quite busy on a Saturday night. I’ve heard from a friend that it is also a spot frequented by celebrities. Judging by its location steps away from Beverly Hills, I’m not surprised. My experience here with my family last weekend was adequate. The black truffle pasta I had was delicious, but overpriced. It was $ 30, and the large plate did nothing to hide the small portion size of my meal. I enjoyed a sizable salad before the pasta, and was graciously offered pizza by my relatives, in an effort to keep me satiated. Cecconi’s has a strange vibe. On the one hand, they have grossly expensive wines and spirits, including a wine with a $ 2000 price tag. But on the other hand, they also offer a number of tasty pizzas for 20 bucks. It really has a broad spectrum — one that is complete with $ 60 and $ 90 steaks. The service was fine, and our waitress helped us navigate the strange seating arrangement we had. Half of our party was seated in a corner seating that was cushioned, but a bit of a tight squeeze. This place is also a bit loud, and stayed that way throughout the majority of the evening. I did like the Soho Mule that I tried, which was essentially a Lemonade Moscow Mule, and the Pinot I had with my meal was likewise solid. Given the price, and the elegant nature of the restaurant, I can’t see myself coming back here anytime soon. The restaurant was populated by an interesting mix of people. I described it as new money and old money. You’ve got rich young Hollywood/Bev Hills seeking an upscale dining experience and older patrons looking for a classy meal.

I searched around for many spots in LA for my birthday celebration, and I fell in love with Cecconi’s Butterfly Room. I love that they have this sectioned off room where I brought my own music to create my own ambience and decorated down to exactly how I wanted it. I had the assistance of Joshua from Soho House to prepare everything I needed for my day. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Due to it being private party, we had a pre-fixe menu. Warning: the portions are smaller due to the type of restaurant so don’t expect to walk out full with a large party. My favorites appetizer was the calamari and fave entrée the chicken. I brought my own cake so that was the dessert. Our server, Benjamin, was fantastic. He provided amazing service to not just my guests, but made sure i had everything flowing smoothly. I really appreciated that, considering how busy of a restaurant it is, particularly on a Saturday night. I enjoyed my overall dining and partying experience with this restaurant. They allow you to have the room from 6pm until 1am so we made every bit worth it.

With excellent and attentive service(5 stars), I enjoyed my brunch experience at Cecconi’s. The ambiance is cute and a perfect spot to catch up with a friend. I also like that they accept brunch reservations. My friend and I decided to share a few dishes, and it was like making our own three course brunch tasting. Burrata, Beets, Avocado, Pistachio(4 stars) — I love this combination of textures and flavors with good quality ingredients. It had a light drizzle of balsamic and few greens. Spaghetti, Maine Lobster, Chili, Saffron, Basil(4 stars) — With perfectly cooked chunks of lobster and al dente spaghetti, the flavors of the saffron and tomatoes were balanced. The lobster flavor was also in the sauce, which was bold and savory. I loved the addition of fresh basil. Crepes, Hazelnut Chocolate, Banana(3 stars) — The crêpe was good but not the best I’ve ever had. They was too much chocolate drizzle on top. I liked the whipped cream on the side, which tasted like sweetened marscapone. I’ll definitely be back for brunch, and I would love to try their dinner menu.

Cecconis is one of those spots in LA that’s safe consistent good food with a beautiful ambience(especially on the patio) I’ve had mix experiences with their service overall I would say its not bad. One of my favorite dishes lunch or dinner is their crudite plate with a hummus avocado dish. It’s so fresh and tasty. I was here for lunch and they had the tortellini chicken soup which I did find a tad bit too salty for me.

I stumbled upon Cecconi’s while looking for an Italian restaurant in the Hollywood area that was open late. Seeing as how they were pretty well reviewed, we decided to try them out for dinner. Cecconi’s is located in West Hollywood on Melrose(The nicer end). It is somewhat hidden and tucked away behind a large wall, with very discrete signage. There is street parking, or the restaurant offers valet. We arrived late on a Saturday night, and the restaurant and bar were packed, however, they were great about getting us a table right away. I loved the décor and ambience of Cecconi’s. With teal leather chairs, white table clothes, patterned floors, and dim lighting, it was a combination between old school Italian and modern flair. We were seated in what might be considered the patio during warmer times, however the large windows were closed for the night. Our waiter greeted us promptly and took our drink orders. Upon return he made a few recommendations and took our order. We went with the spaghetti and main lobster, and the short ribs. Both plates were great. The spaghetti with lobster was exceptionally good. For dessert we went with the meyer lemon and berries meringata. This was very good as well. My only complaint, and reason for docking them one star was the waiter service. While very friendly, the waiter basically disappeared after serving our dinner. He never returned, and when we wanted to order another drink dessert, and retrieve the check we had to wave down other servers and staff passing by. Overall, I really liked Cecconi’s. The food was excellent. We would return.

Visited Cecconi’s for Saturday morning brunch. A friend us and recommended Cecconi’s due to it being a popular«scene» to spot celebrities. House of Cards parties among other West Hollywood parties are held here at least 4 times a year. Due to West Hollywood city ordinance the restaurant is limited in the number of their«grand» parties. Sadly no celebs were in sigh when my wife and I visited. Wa wah(but we did see TMZ’s Harry Levin during our trip, he’s like B– list right?). hehe. For the food, I ordered the Ham Benedict with hash browns that came in the form of mini balls($ 5 for 4 tiny pieces, pricey). This is a $$$ spot so expect to dish some cash on smaller portions. The benedict tasted fine, just wish it came with a side. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and feels luxurious! If you’re seeking a scene, Cecconi’s has it for you.

After getting my sorry self up early enough within the AM hours, I finally had the opportunity to try their breakfast and by far, it’s the best meal I’ve had at Cecconi’s. So I make it in around 10-ish, and the place is fairly empty save for some stragglers from the early breakfast run. From what I understand, this place can actually become packed during this time, and I guess coming around Oscar/awards season doesn’t help with the crowds. But I was able to sidle up to the bar where the nice bartender(August) takes care of me. It’s always nice when a place gets your order just right, and the bacon that I asked for crispy actually was(otherwise, what’s the point). The hash browns with their interesting sphere shape were full of flavor and the chocolate croissant was not one of those mere after thoughts some restaurants provide; this was the real deal. If you’ve been eating the ones from Starbucks, you need to try one here because you’ll never go back to Starbucks version again. Orange juice is orange juice, but at $ 6, it was damn good oj. I believe valet is complimentary during this time, but I found a spot right outside the establishment(with money still on the meter-score). Although I was in no rush, this visit was about 45 minutes, which is great if you have a breakfast meeting with a client on a schedule, or if you just want to grab a quick-but worthwhile-breakfast before heading into the office. The morning brunette hostess could have been friendlier(or just friendly in general) instead of glaring, but she wasn’t serving my food so I don’t really mind. Besides her, the other hostesses(happy hour/dinner) have been great. Whatever meal you want throughout the day, Cecconi’s has you covered.

A decent place for brunch that is very LA: filled with Beverly Hills-esque folks, actors, screenwriters, and the like. The ambiance is nice and relaxing but the food was just average. I tried a Benedict and some of the green eggs and ham. The food portion was average; I was still hungry afterwards. The food was slightly under seasoned and generally plain. This place is more pretentious than delicious.

This place is so Hollywood. I guess growing up in LA I’m not so impressed by the cool crowd. Originally a guy picked this place to take me out for my birthday. I realized this place was a little fancy, with the staff in uniforms giving the restaurant the high end vibe they needed to go with their high price tag. I don’t feel like the food lived up to the hype or the dollar amount, good thing I wasn’t paying! The tables were set with hard breadsticks, however, I would’ve preferred soft hot bread instead. The menu had limited choices which sometimes is common in a fancy restaurant. Trying not to use all my calories in one place I decided to I ordered a salad to start, which was pretty basic. For my main entrée I ordered the eggplant Parmesan which was pretty good. The guy I was with ordered octopus which I was not willing to touch, too gross for me. He also got a pasta which he seemed to like but the portion was small. Of course I ordered dessert because there is no better way to end a meal than with something sweet. I decided on the porfiteroles and hazelnut gelato which was decent. I could’ve passed and not wasted the calories on them. I feel like their dessert options were limited just like the rest of the menu, however there was no way I was passing up on dessert. The guy I was with got a boring cheese plater. I mean who gets a cheese platter for dessert? In my opinion that should be offered under the appetizers or not offered at all. Aren’t we at an Italian restaurant? Lastly valet was $ 10. Honestly, that’s not a bad price for a fancy restaurant. I wasn’t aware that there was plenty of street parking that was available so if you prefer not to pay or don’t have cash your not screwed. Overall this place was OK but I definitely wouldn’t go back if I was paying.

I’m not sure how to feel about this place. A decent Happy Hour nonetheless with a very mixed crowd, high class décor and food that can be hit or miss but looks very nice in a culinary aspect. I ordered the calamari, the avocado & chickpea dip and the black truffle burger. The calamari and dip was nothing to rave about when it comes to flavor but the burger was delicious. Strangely, the burger is nowhere to be found on the regular menu which leaves me to believe its only available for Happy Hour. Sucks because it could be a hit if it isn’t a part of the main menu and its the only thing I’d consider maybe going back for if I’m in a mood to drive far which is rare unless the restaurant is amazingly good. Besides the burger which was very flavorful, I can’t say I’d drive back just to grab a meal. However if I’m close by, I’d probably give it another shot given there’s nothing else that catches my attention in the surrounding area. Dinner 9÷30÷2015
