I LOVE this place. My favorite place to get soup. Also really good positive vibes from this place. You have to try the Himalayan Lentil.

This place is absolutely amazing! An actual soup kitchen, it’s perfect! The first time I went in this place I met the head chef/owner Daniel & he is the nicest guy who took his time & explained the whole process to me about how their specialty natural soups are made with a description of a few different varieties that I was interested in. After chatting it up with Daniel I picked up the Country Vegetable, French Onion, Himalayan Lentil, & Mushroom Barley. This was a few weeks ago & now I’m out because we ate all of them already, we got 2 of each & my kids even love them. We will definitely be back! Overall Rating: A+

With so many accolades what more can one say. We’re hooked, simple as that. Everything we’ve had has been delicious. I don’t think that you could make a bad choice here. Six bucks for a very hearty portion seems like a great deal. Pair it up with a nice crusty bread and a simple salad and you’ve got a great meal. Enjoy!

These vegan soups are the best. I’m a big fan of the Mulligatawny and the Himalayan Lentil with Kale & Quinoa, but truth be told, I love them all. A little gem next to Field’s Market.

I saw this place after my first visit to the nearby physical therapist and stopped in after I saw the word«vegetarian» on their sign. As someone who avoids animal products I was thrilled to see that most of their soups are vegan. I’m a slow cooker addict and make a lot of soup at home, but I don’t always have all the spices to make the more exotic soups. Well, in my opinion, Amy has nailed it on the spicy soups. I love every soup I’ve tried so far: Mulligatawny, African Peanut, Nepal Tomato Bisque, and Thai Coconut Curry. The soups are sold frozen in containers and it’s easy to heat the soup up. I can’t afford to buy as much soup here as I’d like but this place is my new treat!

Wow my hall of fame lifetime achievement porn star friends got me into this place… The wife loves soup and my mom cannot eat much solid food. All I can say is this is high quality Connoisseur Artisan Culinary kindness, thought fullness, passion, heart and soul in a frozen petrified puck of golden gooey greatness… I Love it…

If I can’t get my mom’s cooking when I’m sick then this is the only place I’ll go. There are so many different types of soup. I actually have a sheet to keep track of which ones I’ve tried. And I’m usually not too much of a health nut but it’s not hard eating healthy here. I always come in thinking I’ll get a couple but I always get an average of 6. They last a while in the freezer so why not. I think they should actually have some hot soups available to sell. That’s what I always do. I call first to see if they have any I can buy hot because I want it right away. The place is simple and clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and actually eat the soup so they can give you recommendations and their preferences. My favorite is actually the Himalayan Lentil with Kale and Quinoa. I never thought I’d say that ever but the soup is absolutely delicious.

Yesterday was our first time to The Gourmet Soup Kitchen. They have quite an impressive list of soups(they boast 30 soups, we sampled the Cuban Blackbean, The African Peanut and the Himalayan Lentil with kale) the tastes were equally impressive, but not to go unnoticed was the excellent service and attention we received. We picked up 12 different soups… we will definitely be back to try the remaining 18! Thank you for the great experience and spectacular customer service.

Imagine the most creative, delicious, soups all in one location, packaged to go. This is the place! Tasted a couple while I was deciding what to purchase and it was very difficult to choose as everything looked so yummy! Now our freezer is stocked and the eating can begin!

Wonderful French Onion soup. Thick and hearty, tons of flavor. It’s well done and perfectly seasoned. Brought it home, added a baguette and cheese on top and broiled it and in less that five minutes an awesome early dinner was ready!

Saw this place on KTLA Burrous’ Bites and checked them out since they were close. The soups here are fantastic! I will be working my way through the 30 selections on the menu. I started with the Himalyan Lentil, Mango Picchu & African Peanut and I love the bold flavors. And $ 6 is a steal. I will be stocking the soups as part of my grocery routine from now on.

Have you ever walked into someone’s kitchen and they were cooking up pots and pots and pots of healthy & hearty soups? The Gourmet Soup Kitchen is a rarity, a place where you’ll find exactly that! They make over 30 soups with«artfully created flavor combinations,» like-African Peanut, Cuban Black bean, Himalayan Lentil with Kale & Quinoa, Mango Picchu, Old World Lentil, just to name a few. Daniel is the guy thats helped me each visit, he also looks like the chef of The Gourmet Soup Kitchen. As of July, 2014 here’s their kick ass list of soups: All soups are $ 6/frozen ready to go 16oz. serving. Buy 3, get 1 free. They use this West Hills space/store for cooking up batches of soup you’ll find sold at the Farmers Mart in: Pacific Palisades(1037 Swarthmore Ave.-Sundays 7:30 — 1:00, all year), Brentwood(741 Gretna Green Way-Sundays 8 – 2:30, all year) and Larchmont(209 Larchmont Blvd-Sundays 8 – 2:30, all year). Store hours are unusual: Mon. and Fri.(10 – 4) Tues, Wed., and Thus.(8−4ish) Sat.(«Midday for a bit») CASH only I’ve been a bit soup-fixated from my first spoonful of The Gourmet Soup Kitchen, stocking up weekly and eating their handcrafted soups daily. Well deserved 5-stars to TGSK!
