This place is getting more and more dirty every time we visit. CEC is a necessary evil when you have kids but seriously they need to step up their game here. When we come in the evenings the bathrooms are filthy, unflushed toilets etc. we’ve been here over an hour and the tables that were dirty when we got here are still dirty. Floors are gross. Half the games don’t work properly. We came a week ago rather late in the evening and I gave the benefit of the doubt but then tonite during prime time. Same problem. I get it, kids can be dirty little beings, but come on you cater to them! KEEPITCLEAN. Even though this is close to home looks like we have to find a new CEC.

This chuck e cheese doesn’t have a lot of games options. I hit the jackpot 3 times tonight and 1 out of the 3 times the tickets didn’t come out. The machine owed me 55 tickets. My boyfriend called one of the worker to come help us. As she was giving us our tickets she said«you didn’t hit jackpot and the machine is working fine.» From the kids to my boyfriend were just looking at her as of why would we lie about it??? The ball hit the jackpot box and the machine lit up… Feeling lucky today maybe I should go get the 800 million Powerball :)

I harbor the most intense love/hate relationship with this place. Like seriously, Sid & Nancy have nothing on us. I used to work at a Chuck E. in my teens, so I know the inner workings of the place, how tickets work, how much of a rip off the place can be, etc. I definitely notice when things aren’t up to par. I even swore I would never again step foot inside a CEC again once I left. … then I had kids… My kids love coming here. & admittedly, I love this location as it’s nestled in between an upper class neighborhood, & around where my Husband & I went to High School. It’s by far the most up-to-date Chuck E., & probably the cleanest. We steer clear on busy peek hours, & usually come in the mornings. The staff is always friendly, & we’ve hosted tons of my first born’s birthday’s here(lè sigh…). My kids sure love this place, but it sure has changed. Chuck E. seems to have a bulimia problem these days. Which is just… Weird. But that’s opening a whole other issue. Food is mediocre at best. I hate when they experiment when their pizza. But again, it’s give & take with this place. Proceed with caution.

It is definitely not what it used to be. We had to wait for pizza about one hour. Establishment is careless and doesn’t care about customer service. They should really hire more staff here. And they should also get a health inspection cuz it’s dirty here and the servers have conversations with other patrons while holding others pizza. On top of late delivery they have unsanitary conditions. All we wanted to do was bring out little one to have some fun. Really disappointed hopefully management sees the review.

For an establishment that is catered to children, I’m EXTREMELY disappointed. Long story short I took my daughter here for the first time tonight and encountered the WORST customer service at the prize claiming station from AMANDA. From her facial expression, body language, and the way she talked to us and even previous customers ahead — total disrespect. I honestly cannot believe anyone would hire such a rude person to work with children. I had to explain to my kids that some people can be mean for whatever reasons and not to let it bother us, it was that bad. Never coming back to this location.

Well, it’s better than the one in Thousand Oaks, is the best thing I can say. I went to a kid’s birthday party here. The birthday kid’s mom complained that they basically do not answer the phone ever here. I can see why. It is crazy busy. Someone has got to open up another place like this and try to do it right, unlike so much of what is wrong with this place. They do the birthday parties like a factory. You sit at long lunchroom style tables near the front, which used to be cute animatronic shows when I was a kid, but now it’s pretty much screens with music videos, and occasionally the things sing, but it’s all movie studio-esque, and I hate it. The fact that they only sing for parties sucks. Not only that, but they don’t do each kid’s birthday separately, they bring them all up, and rush through them. Each party gets a two hour window and it is like an assembly line. In, pizza, tokens, song, cake, leave. They will make sure you don’t overstay your two hours, as they will be immediately prepping for the next party before it is even time. It isn’t particularly clean, but it’s cleaner than the last one I went to, and it’s just so loud. At least most of the games were working.

We had a decent experience ourselves but what really set me off was watching how they handled a missing child. I find it outrageous that they don’t have(or don’t follow) an effective procedure to help separated family members. A stamp may help A kid from going out the front door, but what if they need help while inside? We were in line for prizes when I noticed a little girl crying and looking around… Obviously she had misplaced her family. I waited a minute to see if a family member would go to her but eventually went myself. An employee did come over but had NO idea what to do. Another employee casually told him he needed to walk around with her. The little girl told me the name of her mom and I went around asking for her. The employee went with the girl but didn’t say anything to anyone. 10 minutes later the family is still nowhere to be found. I asked if they could make an announcement and he said they could but it didn’t work well. He wasn’t kidding. I knew what I was listening for and couldn’t understand anything. I was trying to get her name when another employee interrupted me, thanked me for my concern and said they had it taken care of. He slapped 2 tokens in my hand for my help. I was livid. I gave the tokens back and said I wasn’t interested in tokens, I wanted her to find her family… especially when they weren’t doing anything productive. I came back from another round of looking for the mom and saw the mom had finally noticed her. A combination of poor parenting(in my opinion) and terrible customer service and safety procedures.
