I had my first appointment with Heidi Heather today and am thrilled with her work! She brightened up my sad color, covered up my grey roots, gave me a deep conditioning treatment, and created a fabulous layered look for my thick, long, wavy hair. I really liked Heidi’s warm, down-​to-​earth personality as well. It was really fun chatting with her as she painted, shampooed, and chopped away at my locks. The salon environment where she works is also very friendly, aesthetically pleasing and conveniently located. I’m utterly delighted to have found my go-​to stylist in West Hartford. Thank you Heidi!

Heidi was awesome! I couldn’t see my former stylist any more bc she started working from home & it was too far so I was apprehensive to try someone new… but Heidi was not only great at what she does but a pleasure to be around. She is the perfect balance between professional & laid back. She is easy to talk to but does not talk your ear off… unless you want to! I LOVED both my cut & color & she got me out on time as promised without compromising her work. I have a lot of hair so it tends to take a while… I would highly recommend her!

My entire experience was fantastic! Ever since I’d moved from Boston I’d had difficulties finding a good hairstylist, needless to say when I wanted to get highlights I did a ton of research. From all the reviews I read, Heidi stood out and I can see why. She is super sweet, and did an outstanding job with my balyage. I don’t think i have ever received as many compliments for a color job as I did with hers. Heidi listened to my concerns and customized the coloring for my hair and skin tons. The final job exceeded my expectations by miles. So glad I found her, if you’re within 30 miles of West Hartford I would recommend Heidi over anyone else!

Heidi Heather is great! She did a fabulous job with my hair. I love the highlights and color. I really liked the blow out and beach waves style Heidi did to my hair. I just moved to West Hartford near Park Road and was looking for an experienced stylist to get ombré hair. I stumbled upon the rave Unilocal reviews about Heidi and after some research booked an appointment with her. Not only was Heidi an excellent stylist who gave me exactly what I wanted, she was also very personable and I felt comfortable chatting with her. Definitely recommend her and definitely going back for any of my hair needs (cut, color, etc). Thanks Heidi!

I moved to West Hartford a year ago and hadn’t bothered to find a hair stylist because I liked my previous one even though she worked in Somers and worked two days a week. Eventually I became tried of trying to get my hair done in Somers and began looking for a stylist near me. I looked on groupon and Unilocal and stumbled upon Heidi. I took a chance on her for two reasons. One was that her deal for highlights and a haircut was a great price and the second was that the reviews written about her were all wonderful. I have to say that she did a fantastic job cutting and highlighting my hair. She did exactly what I wanted and is incredibly knowledgable. Plus she provides great customer service. I highly recommend Heidi!!!

I moved to West Hartford last summer but never bothered to find a stylist in the area. I was in desperate need of a haircut and found Heidi Heather through the great reviews on Unilocal.I loved that all of her prices were clearly listed on her website and that I could book online. I had an absolutely wonderful experience there and totally recommend her! My hair looks fantastic! I also had an eyebrow and lip wax with her and both look great. And, I had no redness after the waxing. As an added bonus, we had a lovely conversation during my appointment. I highly recommend Heidi Heather for both waxing and haircuts and will definitely be back! I’m glad to have finally found a stylist and a waxer in the area.

I was looking for a new stylist in the West Hartford area and came across Heidi’s groupon and excellent reviews — she certainly lived up to them! Heidi is super sweet, friendly, and great at her job. She obviously is talented, but she listens very well and used the pictures I brought and her own expertise to give me exactly what I was looking for in both cut & highlights. I have been in search of a great hairdresser since moving to the West Hartford area almost 2 years ago, and have had no luck with at least 5 different stylists. I found Heidi Heather through a Groupon and couldn’t be happier! She gave me the best haircut I’ve had for as long as I can remember, and was able to explain (and fix!!) what had gone wrong with my layering from past stylists. She also gave me the perfect bangs that I wanted but couldn’t really explain. I’ve gotten tons of compliments already. The conditioning treatment also restored my hair to the condition it was in before an unfortunate «go blonde» experiment from this last summer :) Heidi was also super friendly and personable and the salon was cute and clean Highly recommended. I have officially found my new hairdresser!

I recently moved to Connecticut from New Jersey and needed to find a new hair stylist. I found a Groupon for Heidi Heather. She was extremely friendly when setting up the appointment and even personally called me the day before to confirm. I got a haircut and highlights along with a conditioning treatment. Heidi was amazing. She began by asking me about my hair and my lifestyle to determine which cut would work best for me. She listened intently and then made suggestions based on what I was looking for. Heidi is extremely knowledgeable and well trained and it shows! She noticed that my face framing layers needed to be broken up (and made them look awesome!) She also made it a point to color over some previously off color highlights. She continued to ask me questions while she cut, making sure that I was comfortable with the length.
Best of all, Heidi kept the conversation going and was very engaging the whole time I was there. She made sure I had enough magazines to read and brought me both water and tea. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back!

5 stars!!! I had super long dark hair and needed a change. I brought in pictures of the style I wanted… I got exactly what I was looking for. Now I have a super cute cut and perfect highlights.

I moved to CT about a year and a half ago and haven’t had my hair cut since I arrived. I’m pretty picky when it comes to stylists. I have very long, VERY thick, wavy hair and when not cut well it ends up out of control! Heidi is AMAZING and is officially my new stylist! She is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me pick a new style that will work with my unruly hair. The color was perfect and she talked with me about how to start training my hair so that, when I go in for my next cut, we can make some small changes and make things even better.
The best part, Heidi is fun to talk to and makes the time it takes to color, cut and style my hair (3 hours due to the length and thickness) fly by!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would… if you’re looking for a stylist in West Hartford, look no further… Heidi is awesome!

Heidi is AWESOME! I could never go anywhere else for a haircut and after sending my buddies to her they all say the same thing. She is very talented, nice and funny-​not to is very reasonably priced. You can go to Heidi and be confident you will be well taken care of.

I’m 23 and hadn’t found a consistent hairdresser, when I called the salon, I was lucky enough to have Heidi do my hair. She’s been amazing! She’s flexible with my schedule and is always willing to help find the best product for my hair or go the extra mile. I even got a glass of wine and a paraffin wax during my apt! But of course, the best thing about her is the work she does on my hair, I’ve gone in before without a picture and I’ve walked out feeling like she knew exactly what I wanted. So for those of you who want amazing hair and a good relationship with your hairdresser, look no further!
