The reason why I rated David’s Tea 3 stars is because it’s not really «tea». Yes, I see that there are tea leaves, but there’s too much artificial flavoring in the tea that the tea flavor no longer exists. Their tea basically taste like water with flavoring. If you really want something that is more like tea and is close by, go to Teavana, but I highly recommend The Green Tea House located in Blue Back Square.
As for the service, I did like it here. The workers were fairly nice especially when I got to smell the tea options they have available.
Side note: The teas smell nice but doesn’t taste the same, so beware!!!
Overall, living near West Farms Mall for so long, I can’t believe this tea joint took over Mrs. Field! We don’t need another tea store in the mall. Good bye my favorite cookie shop…

While there are several loose leaf places in the area, David’s is by far my favorite in terms of quality and selection. The prices are reasonable which doesn’t hurt. Fair warning that many of their specialty teas have artificial flavors if you care about that sort of thing… which I don’t. They also have a great organic selection.

There are other places that sell good quality tea but I enjoy shopping at David’s Tea because the flavors are fun and interesting and so are the staff. I also like that there is no minimum quantity that you need to purchase which allow you to really experiment with lots of different flavors without breaking the bank. David’s Tea is always a treat!
