I came only for the Korean bbq so I can’t say much about the show with the Teppan. I did the ayce with my bro and it was very underwhelming. The service was decent but considering we were literally the only people on the Korean bbq side, it wasn’t very attentive in the beginning. We were missing chopsticks and forks even after the food came out. Not a huge deal but was kind of surprised. I guess they aren’t use to people on the kbbq side. I had to ask for plates and for our sesame oil with salt. There dishes are nothing to rave about. The garlic steak was alright. It was like garlic butter spread on a ok steak. The pork belly(and they have like 5 different types) were also ok. After cooking them, they all kind of tasted the same. They didn’t seem to be marinated long. Just brushed on and given to us. The spicy tofu soup was just Miso like soup with 3 pieces of tofu and spicy oils. I was not impressed at all. Like they barely tried with that side dish. The steamed egg lacked flavor. Kind of bland to be honest. I had to open up my table container of salt to use. The service is great about topping my water and bringing out the new grills. These grills aren’t really the best as they char so easily. I doubt I’ll come back for the kbbq. I might try the teppan. We shall see.

This was such a disappointing experience… Tonight was our first visit since this became AYCE Korean bbq/teppan. We came in with our daughter expecting a good show and a good dinner as always, but instead we only got the dinner. Long story short, the chef started to cook our food at the table next to us where people were already dining, turning back to serve us our dinner. When we asked if there would be a show(because we went there for our daughter to see the show) the chef told us he was cooking at the other table because there were more people at the other table.(What the heck, seriously?) After we brought it to the waitress attention, he started to cook some of our dinner on our grille. He went back and forth between grilles resulting in both tables getting almost no interaction with him. On the plus side, Food was great and our waitresses were attentive and friendly. But in the end this wasn’t even close to the fun interactive experience we were hoping for.(And paid for) Unfortunately we won’t be coming back due to this experience.

The food here is exquisite especially since the main chef hasn’t changed the delicious consistency of his meals. The yum yum sauce is especially good on the chicken fried rice. I am very happy each time I come because I know the food is going to be good. Not to mention the ice cream at the end of the meal. Our chef takes pride in his work and you can taste it too.

Went here with my brother. It felt kind of odd eating korean bbq while watching a bunch of women from the gym next door running in the parking lot, but onto the food. The side dishes at this place were sparse, there was a very limited selection so I was somewhat disappointed with that. I guess that just meant there was more room for meat in my stomach. I enjoyed the cinnamon pineapple slices they had, but this place was really just meh. Wasn’t bad, but nothing really special either. I do want to go back and try the teppan though.

Food was great. Service was friendly! We had a great time cooking on the center grill. Recommend the Korean BBQ but they also have Teppan! Great variety of meats to grill. My favorite was the garlic butter prime steak!

Drove by this place and saw the all you can eat Korean BBQ sign and decided to get some dinner. We were seated right away and noticed that the air conditioner was on full blast. Which was okay ventilation for the Korean BBQ. They started with the side dishes which were only three, kimchi, daikon, squash, & wait, a side of mashed potatoes??? The meat selection was plenty including ribeye, octopus, jumbo shrimp and some unusual items for Korean barbecue such as garlic butter ribeye, cajun chicken, and ox intestine. The only vegetable they had on the menu was in order of assorted vegetables which included onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms and zucchini. The side orders also included steamed rice, chicken fried rice, mac and cheese, and corn tortillas??? One waitress was very attentive, on the other hand, the other waitress was kind of spaced out and try to memorize everything we told her for four people and that didn’t work out so well. The meat portions were very small. We ordered rib eye which is probably enough for one person so by the time we cooked that and divided that we all got maybe 3 bite sized pieces. They served us each meat dish separately so in between cooking we sat and waited until they brought us the next meat dish. It was getting irritating, so I decided to write a note with our order so that they could bring it all at one time. They don’t have the overhead vent so while cooking, the smoke was wafting into my mother’s face the whole time. This whole dinner happened on a Friday night and there were only two waitresses at the time. This is also a Japanese restaurant with teppan. There was a large group enjoying the entertainment of the Tappan chef, and I am no stranger to laughing, but the acoustics in this place could be better. We could hear everyone else’s conversation except ours. I think the whole Korean BBQ thing at this restaurant is new and I hope they can get it together to keep this running. The idea of having a Korean BBQ so close to home is awesome, but some minor changes could help.

I’ve tried all three of their specialties, Teppanyaki, AYCE Korean BBQ& their sushi bar, on different occasions & all three times, I’ve received phenomenal service, delicious entrees & appetizers. What more can you ask for? I’ve never left this place unsatisfied. They have a variety of ice creams too! YUMMY! I will definitely be returning for another great dining experience! Thank you team Hibachi!

Came for the Korean BBQ. Totally worth the $ 20 for lunch. Food was excellent. Service was impressive. They changed our grill 4 times and never let our glass’s drop below halfway full. The waitress even insisted on the included ice cream at the end. Place has a clean/light feel to it.

I think this place was sold. Because there is no sushi, meat was dry and nasty. Shrimp wasn’t seasoned. If you want real Korean bbq this place is not the place.

all these people raving about ayce bbq are fake or never had it before. as someone whos gone to several different ones all over O. C. & L.A. county… this is a poor imitation of(korean) bbq done by non koreans, its more of a Chinese/Taiwanese style, the meat was hard, fatty and rancid, some were so chewy that it didn’t break up at all so you end up spitting it out. the taste was off or had no flavor… the food tasted old… the condiments were not impressive. the only thing was good was the garlic butter meats — chicken and steak and the cajun shrimp(the sauce made everything taste tolerable). Sure the portions and price are good but the quality and flavor made it a rip off. They didnt even have the salad you eat with rice paper and had no idea what I was talking about. The spicy tofu soup wasnt even the kind you get everywhere else where it’s all the same, it was a chinese style. The jjapchae was a whole new level and style. didn’t even eat all of it, they give you a full plate of it too. They didn’t have a lot of things you have with korean BBQ service was wonderful but thats cause we were the only ones there lol

Was around the area and decided to grab something to eat n found this place which ended to be amazing ! Food was good fried rice was too bomb. The cherry on top was the service the whole staff was very attentive and friendly. Dependently plan on coming back. This is my first review which says a lot about this place.

This place is great! It was a teppanyaki place before, but they made a transition into kbbq with a bit of teppan thrown in. The meat is super fresh. The brisket are thick slices, the rib eye is great! I had the shrimp also and it was delectable. They also have chicken fried rice, teppanyaki style!.. Which means they also have that orange sauce they give you at teppanyaki places. It tastes amazing. They also have complimentary ice cream which includes Vanilla, Green Tea, Mango, Strawberry, and Rocky Road. The owner is the cook and he has great concern for his customers. We were the only ones there for a while bcuz they had just opened for dinner and he occasionally came out to ask us if we were okay and enjoying the food. He even decided to entertain us with some magic tricks! The waitress we had was great as well. Excellent customer service, in my opinion. I would recommend this place to everyone. Bear with them during the transition though. They’re still undergoing slight construction and working on changing out the tables, but this place is well worth it for 20 bucks.

This place used to be a teppan grill, it has been converted to kbbq. The quality of meat is fantastic. Nothing was frozen. They have over 29 items on the menu including rib eye for 19.95. The service was on point. My glass never reached half way. The server changed or grill constantly. This was one of the best kbbq experiences I have had.
