Cool little spot. I noticed everyone knows each other which speaks highly of the spot since they are all regulars. Bartender was super sweet and great personality. She treated me like family. They have a kitchen with juicy burgers. I’m so glad she convinced me to eat because nothing goes better with a beer than some good food. I will be back to hang after a tough day at work.

Not sure how they are still in business. Always empty, and seems like just a young and drunk crowd. Owners(s) seem pretty clueless. Gotta be losing a lot of money here keeping those doors open for the local group of 4 that occupy the bar stools.

The steak sandwich and fries were delicious. You can tell it was a good quality steak. The drinks are good and cheap and great service. A great neighborhood bar. They have pool too!

I have been to Mid City a few times and every time the«regulars» have the run of the bar. The last time we were there someone close to the bar(a regular) lost someone close to them and the bar was having some sort of wake. I understand that sucks but maybe close the bar to the public if no one else is welcome? It was a Sunday and the bar advertises game day specials. We went for a few beers and to catch the games. My boyfriend tried to play a song on the juke box, a regular threatened him because he wanted to play something other than what the regular wanted to hear and the bartender and staff backed the over-served regular, making us feel alienated. We weren’t the first he had picked a fight with in the bar.“Regulars” that do not pay for their drinks make the bar nothing, people who come in to have a couple drinks and bring their friends are how you create a clientele. This is a hostel environment and if you are not a regular don’t even try… go to Hawthorne’s. At least the bikers at Hawthorne’s won’t threaten you. I have never been so offended and will never come back again.

My boyfriend and I went there for the first time to see Bam Margera perform. It probably would’ve been fun if this was a normal venue with a professional staff but it wasn’t. It was your standard local bar that included some nice/normal people along with your typical drunk retards. While I’m not opposed to local/hole in the wall/dive bars, I will NEVER come to this place again after what I experienced. They should’ve advertised the event as HILLBILLYDRAMAFEST. It was a circus and totally ridiculous complete with cops and fights. None of the staff would give a direct answer about getting a refund for the event that DIDN’T happen and when I approached the alleged owner Danny, he was sloppy drunk and nearly incoherent and could barely piece together a sentence. I got half my $ back and cut my losses because I didn’t want myself or my bf to stoop to his level… just wasn’t worth it. I also witnessed him call his wife/gf a «Fucking CUNT» to her face, so that’s nice. Way to operate a business buddy!

The owner of this bar literally told me to go F**K myself. He had Bam Margera stop by and charged $ 20 a head to come in the bar. My girlfriend and I bought drinks and waited around only to learn that there was a bunch of drama with the bar staff and Bam and the bus took off and there was no show at all. I understand that crap happens and that the bar may have lost out, but they should have at least refunded their customers. We came there and spent money on alcohol and when we asked the owner(who was a belligerent drunk) for a refund. He literally said he doesn’t care if we come back or if its right or wrong and we can go F**K ourselves. I REALLY pray that the people put this guy out of business

Mid City is alright… Parking can sometimes be a pain, but there is plenty in the back. Tuesdays are $ 2 U Call its, fantastic time. Lots of locals and their young drama, but if you’re not involved, it’s entertaining and good for a laugh.
