My initial reaction was great. I requested a quote for stump grinding and tree trimming. They came quickly and e-​mailed me a quote that day. That’s where the good ends. They then proceeded to send daily emails promoting how great they are. Finally one email asked me to reply to it for follow up. I emailed them 3 times asking to revise the quote because I changed what I wanted done. I got no response. 2 days later another email asking me to reply. Became obvious the follow up from them isn’t important.

My 82 year old Mom used them twice. The first time was to trim branches from several large evergreen trees. My brother discovered that they had simply cut the ends off the limbs. He called them back. They fixed the job. Recently she used them to take down a large Hemlock. They offered her the option to purchase stump grinding which she declined. She called back to ask the cost and was quoted a price. She decided to add the service. When they finished the job, they left a pile of all of the chips. She called and asked them to come clean up. She was informed that she should have read her contract better. Cleaning up after themselves would cost her an additional $ 150! My son took care of it. I would not recommend Rick’s to anyone.

Used these guys for the first time today. I was impressed with the level of organization although the equipment is rather loud. Price was on track with the others. Nice job cleaning up as well. Came back with grass seed. I didn’t even gave to ask.
