Atrium Apartments

–Rent is way too high for the location and property itself
–Building is located on a super busy street
–Rent does not include garage. Garage parking is extra
–Laundry facilities are not enough for the amount of apartments they serve
–Not enough parking spaces
–Rent increased every year
–Not enough closet or storage space

I chose this complex because of the beautiful big open lawns. They take really good care of the grounds too. It’s really nice, especially if you have a dog. and YES they take dogs! It was so hard for us to find a complex that did.
The office staff is friendly and attends to any problems quickly. Neighbors are friendly and like to socialize.
My only complaint is that it’s not well lit at night and my husband is frequently out of town on business so it is a little scary coming home late sometimes.

Nice community of West Caldwell. A track to run on ¼ mile away. Nice manicured yards and courtyard area. The laundry facilities are really nice. Some people are rude and use all 5 washers or 6 dryers at once so do your laundry during the week. The community manager is super nice and always willing to help during the week. There are mostly young couples and older retired people living here. Not too much drama. Covered parking cost extra money.
Few complaints — a few large annoying unleashed dogs. Not very handicap accessible. The laundry facility isn’t big enough. The buildings are super old. You can smell everything your neighbor does. The upstairs units are sort of a drag to get up and down — steep stairs. Rent is too high for the condition of the buildings despite the ‘renovated’ interiors.
If you can get rent under $ 1300 in a nicer city than West Caldwell go fish.
