Best turkey anywhere, EVER. Seriously. The quality is always consistant and delicious. Turkey pockets are huge and the service is exceptional. Small, warm, Mom & Pop type shop, always friendly. A real favorite at my house for dinner!

We stopped in to have a turkey sandwich and it was excellent. The place isn’t much to look at but the sandwiches are out of site. Huge sandwich stuffing and cranberry sauce all white meat turkey and definitely worth it. I can highly recommend the takeout to my friends. Easy five stars

The turkey pocket is amazing like everyone says and I eat it pretty frequently. However I have the turkey Montecristo Panini today that was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Highly recommended, it should have a song.

The turkey pocket is amazing… it is extremely reasonable too, as they overstuff it with turkey… the only downside is that you might get a turkey hangover if you eat it all!!!

Can’t say much about the rest of the menu, I’ve only had the turkey pocket. But it’s excellent and I’m pretty sure it’s what this place is known for. It’s not particularly expensive, full of really good turkey. Everybody should try one.

Incredibly good turkey, their farm is a few miles down the road from the store front. Get the turkey pocket and you can’t go wrong. Also some good ice cream here! There main dish is the pocket!!!

Asacks Turkey Farm is truly a hidden gem. I thought I died and went to heaven the first time I tried their famous thanksgiving pocket. They use a fresh, soft pita pocket and generously load it to the brim with real sliced turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayonaise. I occasionally order a side of gravy to dip it in. SO good! Although their food is a definite five, I gave them a four because their service is a solid three. Asacks is a family owned business but it is operated by teenagers who often lack attentiveness and effort. When I walked in today, business was slow. I had to use my water bottle and a handful of napkins to clean the dirty table. Mind you there are three tables in the restaurant and five girls working. The staple of Asacks famous pita pocket is that each ingredient is evenly distributed throughout so that every bite is better than the last. That was not the case today– the pockets were made sloppily to the point we had to use utensils. One last thing, one of the girls turned down a customer by saying«Sorry the grill is already turned off.» It was 4:15, and they close at 5. Asack’s has delicious and amazing food, if they implemented better management they could easily achieve a five star rating.

I started going here when the store was at the farm. I followed them to the Ice Cream stand. As stated by many the Turkey Pocket is good. It used to be a lot better. It used to be nice recognizable chunks of turnkey, the other day I stopped and got a turkey salad pocket and it looks like a food processor is used. It is still fresh but too overly processed. I also used to pick up Turkey Chili or Turkey with Gravy to take home but the freezer case was nearly empty with few choices of take home meals.

All I have to say is TURKEYPOCKET! So incredibly good! The regular comes with homemade stuffing, mayonnaise, cranberry sauce, and fresh REAL turkey(Not the slimy stuff you get at the grocery store). They do offer other fixings for your pocket but you first must try the classic. I recommend taking it to go, as it is super small.

I have used Asacks maybe 5 times a year for over 25 years. So when the Jewish Holiday came this year, I ordered my usual turkey and they confirmed that it would be ready in 3 weeks. When I went to pick it up, the woman behind the counter said she had to go to the farm to get it. About 15 minutes later, she called the store and told me that they did not have one for me. I told her that I(and 10 relatives) needed to finish eating before sundown, she told me that all she had was a «frozen turkey».(I thought they were all fresh!) I starded to get very upset(I cried) and the woman said«everyone was on vacation and I needed to leave now». I went to the farm and talked to an owner(not on vacation) and all he said was«sorry». So that night we had whatever was in my fridge. Thanks Asacks for a memorable holiday!

Best place to get a Thanksgiving turkey with the nicest people that really get you in the right mood to start the holidays. We’ve bought our Thanksgiving turkey(s) here since we moved to town(7 years) and I wouldn’t go back to mass-market store bought. Sure you can get a cheaper turkey at the grocery store… but you get your money’s worth at the farm. And you get to feel good because you bought local and supported a local farm.

my family has been buying Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys long before i was born(1965), and the quality of both their product and service has not wavered in this time. Splurge — spoil yourselves once each year. I am always amazed at what a great job Asack’s does in the cleaning of these birds. Quite simply put: Asack Turkey Farm rocks.

For years I’d heard about this place but the leftover thanksgiving sandwich never appealed to me. People I trust finally convinced me to give it a try and I was blown away. The combination of the moist, thinly sliced turkey, sweet cranberry sauce, salty stuffing, and mayonnaise is perfect. The only thing that would make it better is if they would evenly distribute the turkey so when you get near the end, you’re not left with just cranberry and mayo. I’ve only had the turkey pocket and it’s been the same each time. The ice cream is good too. It’s Richardson’s so it can’t be bad. They also knew what I meant when I asked for ½ hot fudge and ½ peanut butter topping — not full amounts of either but enough of each to equal one topping. It’s not the cost issue, but I like having both flavors without having double the calories. The toppings were nothing special — same that you find in most places, but that’s not bad. They have Ronnie’s Slush and soft serve with the mix-in flavors as well.

This is a review for the farm, not the restaurant… The Asack’s are great people, as well as our neighbors, and right after we had a death in our family, they brought us a fully-cooked turkey. It was the best freaking turkey we’ve ever had!!! Ever since, we choose them for our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner needs, because you can’t get a better turkey anywhere else. They are a bit pricey, but you don’t have to do half the work you would if you were cooking one from scratch– it’s totally worth it!

They have the BEST turkey pockets, the nicest staff and pretty good ice cream too! I could only finish half the sandwich and my husband stole the other half out of the fridge(after eating his own)! I’m still mad at him. ;) I can’t wait to go back!

Found this place when i was on an ice cream mission and I discovered that they have a turkey farm and all these turkey based sandwiches so i came back another day specifically to try out one of their sandwiches. I followed the lead of what all the locals were getting, the Turkey pocket. I figured if that’s what everyone was ordering than it must be good. What you get is a loaded pita pocket of delicious white meat turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayonnaise. Now this isn’t something i would ever order at a sandwich shop. something about eating turkey when its not fresh out of the oven on thanksgiving just doesn’t do it for me but this sandwich was served cold and it was absolutely delicious! Despite the moldy smell of the place when you walk in, my sandwich tasted fresh and it was just the right amount of sweet and savory. I ate half of my monstrous sandwich and can’t wait to eat the rest for dinner. Other stuff– there is a driving range next door as well as their ice cream shop which is connected to the sandwich shop.
