The café was formally Chazzano Café at the J, but it is no longer that owner. Newly owned, it’s now Café at the J. It has an excellent aroma of freshly brewed coffee, french press if you’re interested, but I always go for their tasty Hazelnut Frapp. I can get it with or without a shot of espresso, skim or % milk, your choice. What’s also nice, I can bring in my coffee mug and I get the whole mix, not the dinky little cup at Starbucks.
The café is inside the Jewish Community Center, so when you’re looking for it, go to the J and walk inside off the main lobby.
It is a little more expensive than other places, but it’s locally owned, you’ll get right in, no long lines, and it’s a nice friendly atmosphere for just hanging out, studying, whatever the case.
