We have been here a few times. Each time we order the same thing, the house sirloin steak for only $ 11 you can’t pass it up. Always well prepared with good favor and juice. It includes soup or salad dinner rolls and your choice of desert at the end. By the end of dinner we are always stuffed and normally have left overs. Try the fried ice cream at some point as well. There’s plenty for two to share. The place has a bar but a very café feel about it. Seems to get busy for lunch and breakfast. We went once for breakfast and it was good. Who we think is the owner has waited on us a few times, very polite and makes you feel welcome, he even remembers what we order now. All over this place is good however we haven’t tried many things on the menu.

I heard good things about this place. I should have taken into account that these things came from cheap old people. The décor is left over from when it was a Chinese restaurant. There was no update at all. For appetizers we had nachos. They were tortilla chips with grated velveeta and a touch of cheese melted on top. That’s it. The soup, chicken with pasta shells, was ok at best. For the main course, I had a French dip and my wife had a monte cristo. The bun my sandwich came in was nice, and was the most flavorful part. The beef in it had the flavor of cardboard; there was no effort to season it. The monte cristo was most likely made with processed cheese; the ham was of mediocre quality. The prices were ok, but the food quality was more suited to a cafeteria than a restaurant.

Not my favorite. This place might want to consider updating the décor. It’s about the worst I’ve ever seen… ever. The food was just ok. I can’t seen myself going back. Nice wait staff.
