More than just a neighborhood market, this place has a deli with amazing soups and sandwiches, breakfast burritos for under $ 5 in the morning, and takeout salads in the case. Sunday through Tuesday is a tea bar in the back and the rest of the week is fresh juices. The staff is super friendly too!

This is the spot. I am here all of the time, for a refill on coffee/mate, I buy my groceries, HNG meat, I get the best bagel in town here with herb cream cheese on weekends, I get a juice when craving, they have everything you need in one stop and I’m pretty sure it is all GMO free. I never shop at Ingles. I support west village market and deli all the way. They have a great selection of fresh local items, wine, beer, 35¢ Amish eggs FORGODS sake. Check out the deli sandwiches as well they are really really good. You can even grab a bagel from the front to use as the roll. Enjoy.

I misjudged this place. I visited once before many years ago on a cold and rainy night and the feeling I had was that the West Village Market was little more than a large health food store. Today I visited during the early afternoon on the first day of spring and found this place bustling with people. There’s so much to say. The smiling employees may be the first thing you notice. Then you might be impressed by the selections of various grocery delights from around the world(including my favorite fish sauce). What’s that smell? Oh, it’s the delicious indian food hot bar next to the deli. Fresh sliced cold cut sandwiches are served by handsome and friendly deli staff. There’s a tremendous selection of beer and wine. Can’t decide on one beer? You can assemble a six pack for .50 less than Whole Foods and Green Life. There’s also a delightful array of organic bulk spices. Coriander, Chicory, Hibiscus, it’s extremely enticing… just think of the possibilities! The real gem of this market is the fresh juice bar. You can order fresh pressed juices, tonics, smoothies, and juice shots. Wildly flavorful. There are few things that I’ve ever consumed that I can say«This is delicious and so healthy that my body owes me a high five». Walking out of the market I was so pleased to see the amount of people that were sitting outside with their soups and sandwiches, taking their lunch breaks to enjoy nourishing food and support a great local business.

This is one of my favorite places! The space utilization is amazing. Somehow they manage to have everything you need at a reasonable price in a relatively small space. There is also a juice bar and a sandwich shop located inside. They really hold true to the local organic sustainable focus. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Right beetle.

I love this place. So much good jammed into one friendly little place. Beautiful and bountiful produce section. Sweet deli and juice bar. Great bulk selection, especially for a smaller store. Nice people. This is a really convenient place to stop in West Asheville for all the stuff you need.

I try to get as much as I can here, because I despise the Earthfare. West Village’s prices are often better than Earthfare — which is just clear evidence that Earthfare has insane markups. A few tips — their eggs are fantastic. $ 3/dozen. Cheese selection is good and affordable. They also cut smaller pieces, so you can pay $ 3 – 4 for a decent sized but not massive piece. Beer/wine selection is great. Produce is real hit or miss. Nice to support a super local business!

We stopped here for a few staples to bring with us during our day of hiking along the Parkway, and it was perfect. There was a great selection of pre-measured bulk items like dried apricots, cashew/almond clusters(yum! tasted like cracker jacks), and granola. For such a small space, there seemed to be a great variety, included beer and wine. Great little market!

The deli food is DELIcious!!! I’m surprised it doesn’t get more attention. They make fresh, consistently flavorful sandwiches, hearty soups(and I’m a soup snob!!), and specialty salads(like rosemary chicken salad and chicken curry salad w/raisins). Of course they cater to vegan and gluten-free diets as well. I’ve been a regular there for almost two years and it has definitely gotten better. There are random nooks to sit and eat there if you want, and the juice bar(I’ve heard) is the best in town. The Party Fowl is my favorite sandwich, served hot! Yummy

This is a really great little market in West Asheville. They have a fun selection of goods, including beer and wine. Their wines are interesting and well priced.

Ain’t cheap and it AINT Grove Corner anymore. This is Westside Market or something like that. Small organic food grocery with a good selection of wine and a LOT of local products. They pride themselves in local produce and local roasted coffee… etc. It is not cheap, but Im drawn to shop there. GREAT lunch items too.

The Grove Arcade is quite the building, and more than a few times we have found ourselves picking up snacks in the Grove Corner Market during a downtown expedition. Convenient and well-stocked, it’s worth a visit.

It’s amazing how many great foodstuffs they cram into their corner space. Ak-mak crackers, home-made raisins, salamis, fresh fruit and a sizeable wine section are all available. If I lived downtown I’d shop here more often. It’s perfect for people who are in town for the weekend and need to pick up some provisions.

I was visiting Asheville and we were told to stop by here. I thought this place was very cute and had tons of necessities plus more. I loved their stock of organic products and veggie friendly things as well. Although I didn’t go upstairs and take a good look at the wine/beer selection they seemed to have plenty to offer. If I lived in Asheville(which I wish I did!) I could definitely see myself visiting here frequently.
