Beer selection is ok. But service is always so-so at best, even when it’s slow.

Stopped in for the first time on Tuesday for their Burger special. Nice sized burger at a great price.

The wings were fantastic! The owner was so fun to talk to! My server/bartender wasn’t very pleasantable; however, the wings were outstanding!

Impromptu lunch out shopping Saturday. Cold Blue Moon and a great Philly cheese steak with kettle chips. Artichoke spinach dip also great as a starter. Would come back.

Nice & friendly place! We stopped in for the Badger game & found a spot at the bar. The staff was friendly & drinks & food were. reasonably priced. The nachos supreme was huge & had plenty of chicken! We will definitely try them again.

My original lunch spot I wanted to go to was closed so I ended up here. It was a 90s humid day and I wanted a cold one and some lunch. The place is nice with the packers colors as the décor. They have 10 taps that change according to the owner, he’s the guy in the guy in the PBR hat in one of my pictures. There is a patio for out side seating which is expanding in the future. The bar is one half and and the other is tables and chairs. There is plenty of flat screens to watch the games and this is a sports bar for sure. The woman working the bar was doing a great job as the face of the business but very new and could not answer some questions. After spotting the taps I had the moose drool, 3 foyds ipa and the founders porter which all were good. There is darts and poker machines next to an atm. They have daily specials posted on the menu. The owner was very chatty with everyone and discussed his future changes to make the place stand out from the other area establishments. After the three beers I was not very hungry for lunch but I was not leaving with out getting some food to go as to get an idea of the food. They are not confident in there beef so they didn’t like the idea of serving me a rare burger in case I became il but if it’s what I wanted they would make an exception. I ordered the Ruben instead. The Rubin was half way decent but not as meaty as other places. The marble rye was very good and made the sandwich. The Rubin was very tasty/juicy and far from dry but. The thousand island dressing was served on the side. Frays and a few pickle slices came with the sandwich, see my pictures. The frays were the battered style and clearly frozen but I liked them. Overall the the place is very friendly and is a nice hangout for food and drinks in the area.

After hearing some decent reviews about this place and having dined at the sister location and enjoying it we decided to give this place a shot. The place is on an odd corner and a lil weird to get into the poorly maintained parking lot. We got in and after being hit with the decades old scent of stale cigarettes we decided to sit outside on the patio for fresh air. We didn’t know where to go so we just asked someone at the bar and then told that that’s ok. Fresh air on the patio was a joke, as that’s where all the chain smokers decided to eat that night. After waiting a while we finally got the order in. The menu is relatively unimpressive and lacked anything that really stood out. We got our food and it looked ok, but just wasn’t that great. The fries were half chewy and nasty, the rueben rolls were sub par. I had called the owner after we left and described the lack of service and lousy food and he was nice enough to deal with and offered us a credit at the bar for the price of our meal. So we gave them another shot. Damn it why did we do that. We ordered take out because we didn’t want to get smoked out. The gal at the bar had no record of the credit and had to figure all that out. seems like both times service has been lacking and uniformed, from beer choices to what management has said they put in place. We went in this time with much lower expectations and were still disappointed. Now to be fair, we ordered the pretzels both times and they were great, the second time we got the mac and cheese bites and they were good as well. that’s all i would ever get from here if i was forced to go back for whatever reason, like having a gun put to my head. The pre-made burger was reheated poorly in the kitchen, the fries were once again nasty. How in the world do you mess up putting something in a deep fryer. 15yr olds at McDonalds get it right why can’t you. The chili was said to be not spicy, my wife was about to burst into flames by her account. My recommendation to you: go somewhere else, you will most likely enjoy it better. There are places that offer better food, better service, better beer selection and better atmosphere. I know I wont waste my time or money going back here.

Very nice place. The food was very good. The fries are delicious and each meal comes with a M&M cookie. The service was good. She was very friendly and attentive. It was a nice night so we sat on the patio. Will definitely go back.

I’m here with 3 friends. We sat ourselves outside, two servers know we are here and we haven’t been asked about food or drinks. We’ve been here about 7 minutes. It’s dusk and mosquitos are beginning to come out. After 20 minutes we got waited on. I just tried to order a chicken Caesar salad and was told it’s not available. I had to settle for just lettuce and grilled chicken(I’m on a low carb diet). This is my fifth time here and every time I visit I am less impressed with the place. The food came out dish by dish and the staff seemed unsure as to who ordered what. My friend ordered mild chicken wings and got spicy ones instead. We were on the patio and the lighting was minimal. Everyone on the patio was using the lights on their phones to look at their guest checks and fill in tips and signatures. This restaurant not only lacks experienced staff but also an identity. The wait staff seems to be unorganized and new to the experience of waiting tables. My friends were regulars at this restaurant before it became Natty Oaks. They are saying that the quality of both food and service has declined under the new ownership and are seriously considering finding a new weekly hangout. If I never returned I wouldn’t miss this place.

Great little pub. Wings are amazing. The owner is great and makes the rounds to check in on everyone. Our order got messed up at first by a new server and he jumped right in to help out, comp’d our entire meal even though he didn’t need to. Great atmosphere and food. We’ll be back over and over going forward!

Natty Oaks is a great find in West Allis. They have the welcoming atmosphere of a friendly neighborhood bar, with some truly solid menu items. We got the gouda mac n’ cheese bites, which had an awesome, grown-up kick to them, the spinach artichoke dip, which comes with a delicious, lightly fried pita bread and huge chunks of artichoke. One of the best spin dips I’ve had to date. My husband got the lumberjack burger, because it sounded ridiculous, but turns out, the folks at Natty Oaks know exactly what they’re doing. The lumberjack burger starts off like your traditional breakfast burger, but takes it a step further. It has egg… bacon…and…wait for it… a MAPLESYRUPSOAKEDPANCAKE on it. My husband was going to get it without the pancake, but I convinced him that something so ridiculous must be investigated in its pure form. And it was fantastic. You got savory from the meat, salty from the bacon, rich deliciousness from the egg, and then the little hit of sweet from the pancake just took it to a whole other level. Two thumbs up.

Pizza was very average. The bar is very average as well. The service is why I give this place 1 star. RUDE. I am never going there again. There are better places to spend your money in the area.

Went for a few drinks and a fish fry. Its very close to my home. Even though it was very busy, we got seats at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly, gave us tastes of unfamiliar brews. After ordering our food, it came quickly, and was delicious! Fish crunchy on the outside, light and flaky inside. Sweet potato fries were great, too. Played a few rounds of darts too, plenty of room to do that. Looking forward to returning to Natty Oaks again.

My wife and I like to have lunch here. They have good chicken wings with a variety of sauces. We enjoy the regular BBQ. I had a ½ pound cheese burger with grilled onions and pepper jack cheese. The burger and fries were excellent.

Well this is a little pocket of fun. We were there on a Thursday night for dinner and it was pretty darn busy. Thursday appears to be karaōke night. It’s on an awkward corner, but if you can get in and get a spot, there is a parking lot available. And I think there was a small patio. The staff were alright, they didn’t know much about their beer selection, but that’s alright. It’s easy enough for us to walk up to the bar and look at the taps. The food was pretty good, actually. No real complaints about any of it, except the sweet potato fries and homemade chips. The fries needed seasoning of some kind, any kind. The chips had the potential to be fantastic, but many were a little burnt. The grilled cheese, burger, reuben, and whatever the last sandwich was on our list were good enough that we’d certainly come back again. Yay for good bar food!
