PDQ Wellington

I used to love this place but I had one experience at this location that really turned me off. I ordered the chicken strips and when I’ve ordered them at other locations they were average size. When I got these they were huge. At first I thought great but once I took a bite I realized it was all fat!!! That’s why they were so big. And so much grease ! My hands were covered. It made me sick to my stomach and even now when I think about biting into it and hearing that pop i still get a little queezy! Maybe they were just having a bad day but this experience ruined the entire restaurant for me even driving by it makes me sick now lol! I would inspect your chicken before driving off if you love this place …

We have been to this upscale chicken chain many times in Southern FLA. It’s people dedicated to quality. And the mgr & his staff prove it. The chicken tenders w/​fries are great with their homemade sweet sriracha sauce.
Grilled chicken w/​almonds & craisins and a blueberry/​raspberry vinegarette topping was primo. The portions are large w/​bottomless beverages.

Pdq has great food and shakes. Love going there with my family. They are expensive so don’t expect a cheap meal. The one thing that bothers me is that if you want to charge high prices then FILL THE FRIES TO THE TOP. Everytime I get take out I get home to half an order of fries. This drives me nuts cause of the high prices.

Literally one of the best places with a drive-​thru that I’ve EVER been too! The food’s always fresh, the people are always friendly, and everything comes out in a good timely manner!

Ate at PDQ for the first time today and it lives up to the hype! VERY Busy at 1:00pm on a Saturday Afternoon but the line moved amazingly fast, food came out quick and was fresh and hot! I ordered a Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad. Which hit the spot for me. I love a Chicken Caesar and their dressing is REALLY traditional /​authentic (i.e. Thick, rich, garlicky with a distinct anchovy taste) So if Kraft Ceasar Salad Dressing is your idea of a Cesar Salad this probably isn’t for you! On the other hand if you are someone who likes the real deal that you normally pay $ 25. for at high end restaurants… You will be delighted at how close this comes! Also, their home made croutons are DELICIOUS! They appear to be made from their sweet Brioche buns they serve the sandwiches on. But, no matter what their made from they’re fantastic! The Mrs had a 3 piece Honey marinated Chicken Tender Meal with fries. She got the sweet Siracha sauce which we both really liked. It had a hint of a kick without being too spicy to enjoy. She also really liked their thin, natural fries. If you don’t care for fries you also have the choice of their blueberry coleslaw. We didn’t try it on this trip but we’re looking forward to it the next time we’re here because… Oh hell yeah!!! We’ll be back!

Maybe I’m missing something but this place was just average and nothing special to me.
I suppose it’s a fancier fast food joint that you wouldn’t mind sitting and eating at but I didn’t think the food was above any other place.
I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich combo and it was good/​normal/​average. The fries were not my favorite and prefer fries from many other places. They were skinny, bland, soggy fries.
This place has a fancy soda/​drink machine with infinite options to choose from. I went with their green tea that wasn’t from the machine and thought that was something different to see offered from a typical place like this. I later made my own Arnold Palmer, mmm!
I guess it was my bad and I didn’t understand the menu since it was my first time, but I ordered the chicken sandwich combo instead of the chicken tenders combo bcuz I thought it was a lot cheaper. Turns out the price I saw was for the sandwich without fries and drink and I ended up paying more than the tenders. I guess I wasn’t thinking, but I don’t recall seeing the price for the combo on the menu and I will still say it was misleading.
Hmm I would go here again if I happened to be in the area and someone else really wanted to go there, but won’t go out of my way to drive there.

I was really impressed. You kinda just think of them as a fast food joint because of the drive thru but that’s not what it is at all. It’s good quality food with the convenience of a drive thru! Everything was really fresh and nice portions. The milkshakes are amazing and thick. Love the chicken, seasoned perfectly. Nice selections and really good prices. PDQ may be considered fast food but it doesn’t fit into that mold except that they are fast. They didn’t mess up our complicated order and checked the bag in front of me listing everything to make sure we got all of our food. Things like that go a long way with me because there is nothing worse than driving all the way home to have something wrong or have forgotten someone’s meal. Fresh and quality.

PDQ is really awesome. This was my second time eating here and I am very impressed.
I got the 3 piece tender meal with fries and the low fat fiesta sauce. Very filling and the sauce was tangy and I can pinpoint the flavor but I really enjoyed it.
My boyfriend got the 5 piece tender meal with fries as well with the buffalo bleu sauce and honey bbq. I didn’t get to try the buffalo bleu but I did try the honey bbq. It was sweet and smokey. I didn’t really like it but I couldn’t stop using it. So I guess I did secretly like it. My boyfriend really enjoyed the buffalo bleu.
I like that they have a variety of sauces. There’s so many to choose from.
The employees are very pleasant as well and even in the drive-​thru they ask your name for your order.
They also label your drinks for you if you get different ones.
I’m a fan and would eat here again.

YASSSSSSSSSS!!! The first time ever eating at this place was last night for a quick drive thru dinner after we got home late from our cruise. Having never EVER ate here before, we were nervous about trying something new. But boyyyyy were we happy we did! Last night we ate at the Okeechobee Blvd/​WPB location: today (don’t judge us) we went to the 441/​Wellington location. AMAZING! The chicken is super fresh and tasty, the homemade sauces are glorious with flavor, and the fries are natural and fresh and they give you enough in one meal to split with two people. We will definitely be coming back to this place :)

People Dedicated to Quality (PDQ) honors their name with their food! Absolutely amazing place with such fresh food every time! Their chicken is so crispy, their fries not only do they give you a bucket of fries, it probably the best fries I’ve ever had! You can’t taste the veggie oil or whatever oil they use on them but no grease! It’s just so fresh I can’t even describe it. You think chikfila is good? Chikfila comes off as a mc Donald’s compared to this heavenly spot. If you ever have one near you stop by! It’s well worth the wait!

Decent «fast food» and I would say it’s good for what it is. The salad could be a bit better. I always find browning lettuce that I have to pick out. My daughter loves the chicken tenders. The location makes it more appealing since it’s close to home.

Great fried chicken fingers. I would like to see a couple of healthier items on the menu (Butterball isn’t it, boys and girls. That brand is synonymous with added water and artificial everything). It would be nice to get ketchup without high fructose corn syrup to enjoy with the authenticity of fresh fries, rather than that HFCS sewage that comes out of the spout now. Kind of pees on their culinary premise of fast and fresh a bit.

By far the best fresh (fast food) chicken place in my opinion. The chicken is always moist & the employees are polite, yummy desserts. People Dedicated to Quality, is right!

PDQ is always Fresh and delicious. Their staff is great and on point. They have healthy and not so healthy options and I love them all. Salads, sandwiches, tenders, homemade dressings, Fresh cut fries, a million flavor options in the soda machine

The chicken tenders are good here. I tried the grilled turkey breast sandwich and it was good as well. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. And yes, they have a freestyle coke machine. I always get the Minute Maid light orange lemonade when I have access to one of them. I turn into a kid again. Yum! The restaurant is similar to Chick-​fil-​A, but they are open on Sundays. Score!

This is a chain restaurant and this location is great because the employees are really friendly and they staff well so that you are taken care of fast. The store is also exceptionally clean all the time. My favorite part of the restaurant is the hand-​cleaning station in the dining room that you step on.
They have some different items that you can’t get anywhere else. The Fried Turkey sandwiches rule, the tenders are very good and have unique taste, and the fries are some kind of salty thin good. The wife likes the toffee & apples side. The sweet tea is unique and they even have this unique hand soap in the bathroom that makes me feel excited about washing my hands.
There are always a ton of awesome promotions so join the club and watch your email. Stuff like wear green day, or win free chicken for a year contests, or buy one get one free meals.
The only downside is that the food can be a little pricey. Like I said, try to catch a promo or hit up the 5 tender meal to maximize your price savings. A couple insider tips is that you can switch out your side in a combo meal to an extra tender instead of fries (because they are actually cheaper) and I forgot to mention that the honey mustard is extremely good and not to be forgotten.

PDQ is trying to change the fast food concept and if you ask me, they’re doing a great job!
Freshly cooked food with flavor, not the middle of the road, try to please all bland stuff: 10 points!
Cool and hip interior, roomy and casual: 10 points!
Friendly personnel who aren’t shy of picking up a conversation, awesome uniforms: 10 points!

Just like a Chick-​fl-​A but they are open on Sunday.
I really liked this place as the chicken strips were excellent and the sandwiches were also excellent. they have thick milkshakes and outstanding lemonade.
This is a new concept and they are expanding. The restaurant is super clean and if you like chicken you will like this place.
