Wow how low can you go! 1 star too high! Reservation made a week or so in advance, altering staff via phone & email(Open Table) this was an anniversary and a specific waiter was requested. We arrived on time, table not ready, hostess(Mrs Jorden?) very rude, «what do expect we’re busy? «When seated there was no personalized table décor as there always has been at birthdays and anniversaries when announced in advance in the past. We were not served by our favored and requested waiter. Instead, we had a totally untrained amateurish waitress. She had no knowledge of how dishes were prepared and appeared far more interested in her friends seated nearby than doing her job. Too busy to train staff and then stick a regular year round customer with her not too smart! Food. Oysters were fresh and briny, grilled Caesar excelled as were crab mashed potatoes. Stuffed shrimp special was dry over cooked yuk. «lobster sauce» accompaniment = mayo + ketchup really amateurish! !!! EITHERFIRETHEINCUMBENT pastry chef or HIREONE. Flourless chocolate cake isn’t usually served frozen rock hard impenetrable by fork or spoon topped with a tablespoon of ice cream. Espresso = a tiny half thimble size 1⁄8 cup. To top the evening off a review of our bill and we were overcharged !!! stay away«in season» 2/3rds filled beyond this places capabilities

Jordan’s Steakhouse There are some locations in Palm Beach County where houses are expensive, residents are pretty affluent, and the local restaurants cater to them by offering an upscale looking restaurant, where supposedly you get great quality and steep prices. Unfortunately not always in PBC the quality is up to par with the prices. Wellington is one of those locations, same as Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton and areas of West Palm Beach downtown and Delray Beach(not to mention the island of Palm Beach, of course). Jordan’s steakhouse has a very fine and elegant feel, and it caters to the wealthy locals, many of those being people who made their money in the North-East of the USA and then landed in South Florida to enjoy the climate. I won’t tell you the food is bad, or even not good. But I can tell you that my steak was average. Prices here are more expensive than what you would pay in a fine steakhouse(those really good) in Chicago. But the meat isn’t even close. The bottom line is that if you have money and like a nice, well decorated restaurant with an upscale and intimate feel, please go and enjoy. But if you are more of a regular worker who can splurge sometimes, but not 4 times/week, then you might want to reconsider as here you are going to pay serious money for something that you won’t feel was bad, but it was nothing special as well. A bottle of wine and a couple of appetizers can set you back $ 100 or so, and that’s before you get your steak, so keep that in mind. Personally as someone who often goes to Miami and every year to Chicago and to Italy, I find these prices ridiculous, but understand that they can do that because in Wellington you will find plenty of people willing to pay just to eat in a nice restaurant, cozy, elegant and quiet. For the rest of us there are many better options when it comes to value, because definitely, while the food was okay, it doesn’t deserve those prices.

Great bar! Seats 7 which I think is an odd number for a bar. I was greeted properly and offered a drink and dining menu immediately. This is my second experience here. This first time I came, I asked my waiter what he did before he worked here, «he didn’t appear to be a seasoned waiter and seemed to be annoyed with his position, in a snarky way.» He then stated he worked on Wall Street and sold his firm. The food is amazing and I think once the right people discover this place they will thrive.

Great steaks and super service. They also specialize in crab cakes and outside of Maryland, they are best that you will find! Highly recommended!

Had a really nice dinner here last night. I had the free range chicken w frites and my date had the duck medium and she said it was delicious. My chicken was very good and the frites were gluten free! The bartender was really great and we had an enjoyable night.

I had seen Jordan’s a few times while in the area on business and was fortunate enough to be running late today as they are only open for dinner. Very nice décor, spotless and we’ll lit. Great looking menu and wine list. I received great service at the bar. The crab cakes were by far the best I’ve ever had and what all others should aspire to be. Will be back with guests just as soon as I can. Looking forward to my next trip and more menu items.

Went here again last night. We usually prefer several sides or small plates over one main meal. We got the grilled Caesar salad again(they actually grill the romaine, sounds gross, but it’s super yummy) and we had their grilled cheese. It was Gruyère cheese, Caramelized onions and slices pear, also super yummy. We also got the pork belly, my husband loved that(it’s like really think bacon with a crunchy outside) and I saved the best for last. Kale sprouts. They kind of look like baby Brussels sprouts, but taste like kale. That is going to pretty much have to be a staple every time I go there from now on. Surprised by the negative reviews here. We have been going here weekly for a little while now and have not had anything bad to eat or experience wise. Even their bread they serve is splendid.

Warning… Stay away from this restaurant! They did not want to honor their offer for free appetizer. They had a meeting to see if they would do so. Once they decided to honor them, they punished us with rude and terrible service! They kept us waiting an hour before they brought us any food. The food was average and the prices were high! We will never return to this place.

Two of us had dinner at Jordan’s last night and service and food were excellent. The grilled Caesar salad with pine nuts and their salad dressing was delicious and my wife’s wedge salad was crisp and tasty. I had the Cowboy steak, cooked exactly how I asked for it and their dry rub gave it a very nice flavor. The petite filet was very tender and also cooked perfectly. Desserts of crème brûlée and the chocolate pâté were the perfect ending to the evening. Great meal — great service — would definitely go back again.

Jordan’s is a really cool little steakhouse with a local feel and charm. Gets a little pricey, and personally I am comparing to the likes of Capitol Grille and Flagler(unfairly or no). While it’s good and I like supporting the local fare, it’s a little overpriced in my eyes. Otherwise we love going to Jordan’s and enjoying the romantic ambience and cool, younger vibe they’ve injected.

Wife and I came here based on some of the more positive reviews. I had a craving for dry aged steak and a great dining experience. When we arrived we did not have a reservation, so we waited in the entrance and ordered a few drinks. This place was small so it was a little awkward ordering drinks from the bar. We ended up being seated outside on the patio. Our server Craig was friendly but we felt that he was not very attentive as the meal progressed. We ordered shrimp cocktail and oysters Rockefeller as appetizers. The portions were pretty bad for the price. 4 shrimp for $ 16. Crazy. We ordered some steaks and were not aware of the prices until the bill came. I had a 16oz dry aged strip and wife had a filet with crab meat. Those ran about $ 70 each, which was not unusual but the menu made it seem like the prices were less, around $ 40. It felt like a bit of a bait and switch. Brocollini was killer. We did enjoy the food but for this price I would have rather gone to Ruth’s cris or capital grille. Service and experience again is the key. Check on your guests after they get their food!

Loved it! Have been searching for a great steak place since moving to S FL a year ago. Have searched fat and wide(including Ruth Chris’s). Finally found this place. Outstanding. Will be back… often!

We were disappointed in our first visit here The food was mixed… strip steak was very good as were Larry’s fries. The skirt steak was tough and initially served cold. After sending it back the burnt broccolini came back inedible. If you are paying $ 3 extra for a side dish it really is inexcusable to bring back the plate like that! The manager brought a new side dish when the meal was almost over with a flippant remark that inferred better late than never. Really??? We Won’t be back. There are much better steak restaurants

We stopped in on a Saturday for a night cap after having dinner across the parking lot at Franco’s. Some friends had mentioned how unique the steaks were and that they had a great wine list. That night we met Jordan and his mother and told them we would be back for dinner. We had dinner there on Saturday 02⁄07 and made the reservations online through open table. They reserved a nice table for our party of 4 and John was our server. After taking our cocktail order and asking if we would like to upgrade our water from tap to bottled John went over the specials. He did tell us about the special $ 58 bone in new your strip steak. He made a point of telling us the price which may have been prompted by a previous review stating that they neglected to mention the price for the steak. We did not order the crab cakes and yes, we would agree with the previous review that $ 50 is a bit high for crab cakes. But we didn’t get them so I can’t confirm or deny their value vs taste. For our appetizer we had oysters Rockefeller and 6 of the raw variety. In addition to the oysters an order of fried pickles. The oysters varried in size and the Rockefeller was tasty but the presentation a little sloppy. One person at the table did order the upgraded New York strip and he asked if he could substitute veggies for the starch. This brought the cost of the steak up to $ 64. I had an upgraded 6oz filet Oscar for $ 45 which was cooked perfectly and tasted just as good. The ladies had sword fish and salmon that they said was outstanding. We also had a nice bottle of Plumpjack Merlot with our dinner. Ok, to some things up… The service was 5 star John was a seasoned professional and I would ask for him next time The food we ordered was good. When we go back and I will order differently as I don’t think the upgraded steaks were worth the price and would bet the steaks on the regular menu as just as good. The presentation of the oysters could have been better. Some of them were still attached to the shell and hard to eat. The cocktails were fabulous. Jordan’s Manhattan and cucumber martini are recommended. Wine list is moderate in size but very well thought out in content. All in all it was a great restaurant albeit a little pricy for the location. That being said it didn’t need to be that expensive and if you are careful with what you order the price is high but not over priced. We will go back again and my recommendation is to try it and give some feedback.

Been putting off trying out Jordan’s mainly due to a few negative reviews from friends. I decided to try it anyways as most of the negative reviews I had heard were from opening week. I sure am glad I did. Coming into this place with the negative reviews in mind I wasn’t expecting much. We were greeted immediately at the door by a polite and attentive hostess but we decided to have a drink at the bar prior to dinner and the bartender was very nice and offered several suggestions. After a few drinks we went to our table and sat down for dinner. Having gone over the menu with the bartender we already had a good idea of what we wanted in mind. Edison, our waiter, was very attentive and professional throughout, and you can tell he is good at what he does. If anything he may be a little too«stiff» as we are not that formal of people. For starters, I ordered a half dozen Blue Point oysters to share with my wife. They were awesome, very fresh on the half shell with a nice homemade horseradish sauce… off to a good start. For our main cours, I went with a dry aged boned-in NY Strip with broccolini and chive mashed potatoes. My wife ordered a 5oz. petit filet special with their famous crab cake. My steak was awesome, truly one of the best I’ve had, cooked perfectly with a nice char and crust. The broccolini was no different cooked perfectly with just the right amount of flavor. As for my wife’s she was very happy and shared a piece of an amazingly tender filet, her crab cake was breadless with huge chunks of fresh lump crab and a very tasty cream sauce. Dinner was so good, we decide to push our luck and shared a very nice vanilla gelato with some fresh strawberries. It went nice with my after dinner Frangelico. All in all a great local steakhouse for those special occasions. I hope to be back very soon and glad I didn’t listen to too many of the negative reviews. I will be sure to pass my review along.

Let me start by saying a have no problem paying for a great dinner. But I ordered the Crabcake special. When the bill came they charged $ 50. I mean come on. This is jordans in Wellington. Not capital grill or mortons or Ruth Chris and even at these places crabcakes are not $ 50. And for that price they better be amazing. They were ok. Nothing special nothing bad. I overheard the table next to me with same problem. Waiter recommended a steak. In the end he got charged $ 59. Customer had no clue. This is crazy since most menus items are in there $ 20. The waiter not once mentions any price. Yes this is my fault for not asking but this will definitely ruin this places reputation. Waiter could have at anytime let us know price. So in the end it’s mediocre food that is totally overpriced. If I am going to spend this type of money my food better be amazing and it simple wasn’t. There are a million better options in palm beach.

A nice, fancy little restaurant in Wellington. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. The food is pretty good but should be A+ for what you are paying. Our server was really great and I wish I could remember his name(older guy very friendly). The grilled caesar salad was something really special. I am definitely going to replicate this at home. The dressing was delicious. The side of Brussels Sprouts, in my opinion, was undercooked. I also wish they removed the middle part of the vegetable. It is intrusive and not tasty. My burger was very juicy and quite large. My other half got the swordfish special and it was a nice piece of fish and cooked perfectly. He loved the potatoes that came with it. They also have local beer on draft which is a pleasant touch. We had a daily deal so it made the visit worthwhile, but with our budget we probably won’t be back too soon.

Why not support local restaurants? That’s what we bought the groupon $ 50 for $ 100 worth of food and drinks. It was a Monday night 730pm. Place was small and not much people working(similar to other reviews). When walking in, no one acknowledged us. We waiting about 2 mins before we went up to someone and asked. That’s when the server said we will be right with you. We decided to sit in their waiting area and then the owner greeted us. We waited about 15 mins for the outside table to accommodate our large party. We waited then another 7 mins before water came and another 5 mins before server came. Ordered the cowboy steak– tasted ok. Steak at Calleros in lake worth is better, crab cakes entrée– tasted good but needed more sauce, the bread before dinner was excellent. This was my favorite part of the meal. Outside dining is way too hot for the summer. At least turn the fans on after sunset. Service was slow. My biggest turnoff was that no one acknowledged us when we entered the restaurant.
