I received flowers three days ago from my boyfriend and rather than beautifully blooming, they simple withered and died. This is definitely not what I expected from Winston Flowers. Keep in mind: they were kept indoors, not too cold, not too hot. Save your time and money, as the flowers are not worth the hefty price.

My husband ordered Winston Flowers for Valentines Day through WBUR. This did not work for us. He ordered them a week in advance expecting a Friday delivery. WBUR claims that this is easy and that Winston flowers will get the flowers to you before Valentine’s Day. I work from home Fridays but they still missed me Friday morning. I called and was asked if I would like the flowers delivered later that day or Saturday. I asked for later that day. They never came. My husband and I spent Saturday apart making sure someone was home to accept these flowers which again never came. We called again. They said flowers on Monday. We have a blizzard so now flowers on Tuesday! I’d cancel them if I could. How can flowers be fresh after being on a truck for a week and the holiday is well over. Fresh and by ;s Day plus supporting WBUR were the deal, and Winston Flowers didn’t live up to either of them despite having a store 10min away from my house. This became one more thing on my to-do list. We’ll continue to support WBUR, who, as responsible journalists, should include stats on how many people Winston Flowers does NOT get flowers to on time despite the hefty price tag so folks can hedge their bets before they pay, and we will skip Winston flowers in the future.

I’ve been getting and sending flowers from Winston’s for 10 – 15 years. Anytime ice had an issue–(only one or two times) they’ve solved it easily. Great product. Great service. Thank you Winston’s.
