we drove 2hrs to the cabin after work. it was late and the check in direction we got from the phone before was super unclear!!! we didn’t find our room information to check in and turns out drove 2hrs back home!!! the check in direction should be sent by email instead of from the phone call!!! the check in information should be put in the mailbox not underneath the bucket! i’m here on vacation, not here for playing seek and hide game!!! after the complaint, i oonly can get a certification for next time use instead of refound! not satisfy at all! wont be there anymore!!!

I have no idea how to rate this, so. .as mom always said, let’s make a pro/con list: PROS: 1. Great price 2. Clean 3. Bed was super comfortable 4. Great vicinity to the Resort at the Mountain(we were attending a wedding) 5. Full kitchen! 6. Private patios CONS: 1. No office on site, at times we had questions/needed assistance and we had to drive to the office down the street 2. See #1, office hours are VERY limited, chances are you won’t have someone to help you 3. No icemaker(lady at office made it very clear they are NOT a hotel? Then what am I checking into?) 4. We thought we rented a cabin due to the name. Uh… no! They are duplexes. 5. Our shades did not work and we were right on the parking lot. We had to sleep all night completely exposed, it was VERYUNCOMFORTABLE. When I went to the office the next morning to let them know, office was closed. I called the number on the door and she asked why I didn’t call her to tell her last night? I explained we were at a wedding and it was very late, I was trying to be courteous… and I got nothing. She REALLY didn’t care. 6. Hot tub smelled horrible and was very soapy, unusable. 6 – 6, it’s a tie! Will I be back? No way!(See Cons#5) Plenty of awesome places to stay on the hood then deal with this! Too bad, great units!

My husband and I tried to stay here for our 5th anniversary. We arrived and checked in, then drove to our cabin(actually half a duplex). We went into the cabin and sat on the bed, and then informed the front office the bed appeared to be broken and we could not both sleep on it. We were informed there was a cot one of us could use. By the time we got ready for bed the office was closed and no one was available to tell the bed was completely broken. Half the bed was hard as a rock, the other half had a 4 – 6 inch sag. There was no one available to rectify the situation. In the morning no one was available at the office. My husband left them a note informing them of the broken bed and asked for a phone call to discuss the situation. Two days later they had not called and he left a voicemail message. It’s been a week, no phone call, and he has disputed the charge. People shouldn’t have to pay for a broken bed with no response from the owners. Happy anniversary…

WOW wow wow wow wow, I can’t say enough about this group of cabins. To put my surprise into context I have to express that we stumbled into this place by luck, very good luck. We were passing through Welches, saw the«Lodging» sign and arrow to the right, traveled down the road a mile, and there they were. The sign on the door said call before 8:30 and it was 8:37 so I called. The manager came out to set us up while mentioning that we were the only occupants for the night. The room was B-E-A-utiful, new, well designed, and comfortable. There is a hot tub between the groups of cabins which we were sure to utilize with a glass of wine. This is now on my hot list and I will be returning. My gorgeous girlfriend loved it so much I think we’ll make this our yearly love shack trip.
