Love the steamed healthy options. This is my go to place when I don’t feel like cooking.

I am so tired of the inconsistencies with the portions. I always get the«regular.» Here is a pic from yesterday. A regular Pei Wei spicy chicken with fried rice and a honey seared chicken with steamed rice. Why is one full, and one is half empty? Forget ordering a salad to go. The dressing 1 oz cups are only half full, if you’re lucky. The standard seems to 1⁄3 full. What’s up with that??? The food always taste great, but I can great food other places. I’m done!

What happened? The gluten-free spicy chicken used to be so good but the last 3 times I went there it is awful! I think they changed something about it. This used to be mine and my son’s favorite place to eat.

Get ready to wait in a long lunch line if you have a short to-go order! So stupid… same as if the fast food restaurants started closing their drive through lines. There are two empty registers and several unhappy to-go orders as I wait for mine. I learned that you can place your order online… good luck if driving.

I thought that this place would have good Asian food, but it is nothing like my friends had described it. I ordered lo mein and it turned out to just be ramen noodles. Also, the brown rice that I ordered tasted like plain white rice. I’m really disappointed and won’t ever visit the place again.

I’ve been coming to Pei Wei out of impulse since surrounding restaurants are crowded, and this is not an exception for Pei Wei. Seats are always crowded; something with the floorplan of this place just makes it too tight for a fastfood restaurant. Sit on the booth side and you’ll risk not being able to scoot out because tables are no more than a feet away from each other(unless you’re daring and ‘excuse me’ your butt through). Food is not horrible-bad for a fastfood, but sometimes it just lacks consistency. Hot and sour soup we got today was coagulated; as if with too much starch added, texture(I can’t believe I’m describing soup as TEXTURED) was bite-y, literally, globs of coagulated soup. Yuuck. Chicken pad thai was not too bad but noodles are consistenly overcooked. Orange chicken is pretty good. I like their vegetable rolls the best. The inside contains glass noodles, and this is really the best menu item so far. Just full of flavour and crunchiness. It is served with a from-the-jar sweet and sour sauce but I hate that, and it is good enough without it. Service is okay, could be better. Servers go around carrying the tray and looking for the table. They do have those neat ol’ touchscreen cola machines.

Order the lettuce wraps and crab rangoons. Best things on the menu, hands down. The Chinese dishes are typical of Americanized Chinese food. Lack of flavor.

So first off the young dude at the register not only somehow managed to smash my finger but was also a major dick! After ordering we sat down, about 10 mins later our food comes out. They gave me the wrong plate lol really? So then the girl comes out like haha I just gave you the wrong plate. So then she takes it and hands it back to the cooks, I’m hoping they threw it away. But anyways, I payed for extra shrimp and extra shrimp was only two pieces of shrimp added. So will I be coming back, 28 $ for two plates of food that weren’t even worth it.

I think their sesame chicken with extra veggies is the best dish ever. I get the same thing each and every timer I visit this place. I feel lile they will never do me wrong with this entrée.

3.5 stars. Affordable, fast Asian food. Pretty good with variety of different options. Came here yesterday for a quick lunch and got the teriyaki tofu. Was better then I expected. Tofu was crispy with lots of vegetable and brown rice. Have a cool soda machine where you can choose from several sodas with a variety of different flavors. Definitely not the most authentic of places, however does the job when you have a hankering for some Asian food.

I used to drag my wife and daughter here for dinner and would occasionally go with coworkers for lunch. Unfortunately, during my visit today, I learned that they have removed the Spicy Korean from the menu. This was my go-to dish. Now all they have on the menu is a bunch of sweet crap. I do enjoy their veggie spring rolls and lettuce wraps, but not enough to warrant another visit. They said that demand wasn’t high enough for the Spicy Korean yet, I see complaints all over the web. Too bad. They’ve lost a customer at this point and I won’t be using them for my training classes or occasional company lunches. At least we are fortunate enough to have other decent options in the area.

I go there at least 1 to 2 x per week! I love it! I get everything now with white rice, but the fried rice by itself is delightful! I get a small size every time, & it fills me up! The staff are friendly, the place is clean, & I feel like I really get my money’s worth! Most Asian places, are the same price, but I feel like Pei Wei’s food is fresher & more healthy! They also have a lot of GF items on the menu, which is good! Love the Mandarin Orange Green Tea at Pei Wei! It is my favorite & I can get a refill there as much as I like when I dine in! Awesome place!

I go here for lunch once in a while and always get the same thing, the pei Wei spicy chicken. It is very good. Their fried rice has too much red bell pepper taste so I usually get plain brown rice. I have tried the pad Thai which is good and my daughter always gets the chicken lettuce wraps which is very good. This is a step above most fast food type Chinese restaurants. Service is mostly good although got stuck with trainee yesterday that didn’t listen to not one word I said.

Crab wontons. Lettuce wraps. Mandarin orange chicken. Mongolian beef. I love this place. I love that they send me coupons and gift cards to my email on my birthday. I love to place my order online and being able to pick it up quickly. Even when i dine it, it is great. The staff is always friendly and attentive and my food always comes out hot and is delish.

Last night before going shopping at Baybrook Mall, the hubby and I stopped by for a quick bite to eat at Pei Wei. From what I understand this is PF Changs little sister restaurant. We decided on Pei Wei because a friend game me a $ 25 gift card for Christmas. We also decided to split something… trying to watch our waist line since Christmas is over and we need to lose those extra Christmas pounds. That’s what I’m calling it anyway. After searching the menu for something that we could agree on… or in other words… something that I was ok with ordering. The hubs isn’t as picky as I am so he is much more flexible when it comes to sharing. We decided on the veggie spring rolls, an order of fried rice and Mongolian beef. For those of you that haven’t ever been to Pei Wei, you order at the counter, get your drink cups and an order number. Fill your drinks then have a seat and wait for your order to be delivered to your table. The food arrived all at one time. It was nice and hot… I don’t know why but it seems like every time I have Asian food the temp is beyond HOT! This didn’t disappoint but then again, if I order Asian food at it wasn’t piping hot, I may have to send it back. So after waiting as long as I could… I mixed my sauce for my spring rolls then took a HUGE bite. It was soon obvious that I didn’t wait quite long enough but even with that said… the spring rolls had a wonderful flavor. I recommend them. On to the fried rice. I’m not a huge fan of fried rice so all I can really say about it is… it didn’t knock my socks off. I probably wouldn’t have ordered it, but my hubby wanted it so… ya know! My favorite part of the meal was the Mongolian Beef. It was SUPER yummy!!! I love the way they cook the beef… it was perfect. And the sauce they use on it is terrific. Seems like every time I go to Pei Wei I stick with the Mongolian Beef… it is just too good to try something else. The portions were a nice size too… there was enough for us to have dinner AND lunches for BOTH of us the next day. All of that for under $ 25… not only was it a great meal… but it was also a great price.

So curiosity got the best of me and the hubs and I decided to eat here. I should always trust my instinct on places like this. LOL. I ordered the honey seared crispy chicken. I guess I really was tired or something because I didn’t expect the chicken to be fried. Oops, my bad! It tasted ok, but there was nothing spectacular about it and for the amount of time it took to get our food, I could have gone to a real Asian restaurant. I will say that Hubby loves the soda machine… The combinations are endless. Lol. We came, we saw, we conquered … we won’t be back though!

I love their lettuce wraps but am constantly reminded why I try to avoid this place. This location especially, it’s kept very dark which is ok except when someone opens the front door and youre blinded by the light! It’s also pretty loud. I get the kitchen is «open» but sometimes we couldn’t hear each other at the table.

This is probably my least favorite Pei Wei in all cities I have encountered the Wei, yet it still earns three stars. Why? The food! This place always has a line. No matter what time of day: expect to wait. You can even tell from the outside parking lot, you are generally going to be walking a little, never parking directly in front. The good news is that everything on the menu is tasty. So as you shuffle forward in line you get a chance to examine the menu billboard and make your selections. My choice? The orange chicken! The snap peas and carrots really round out the awesomeness of the chicken. The cashiers are hit or miss. One of them seems to have a hearing problem as she constantly asks everyone to repeat everything they say — its not that loud in here, really. After placing your order make sure you grab the bottle of hot sauce and bring it to your table — it is muy bien! I like to put a bunch of the hot sauce on mine and it really brings out the flavors. This is a good business lunch place if you are in the area.
