Had dinner at Moma’s last Friday. Beautiful evening. We ate outside… be prepared. This is also the smoking section. No specials. The staff is «young,» as in they seat you, bring you water and bread, check on you after your meal is served. Not much else. Two tables outside, about eight tables inside… took 50 minutes to get a plate of raviolis and chicken parm. Mind you that’s five raviolis for $ 18. Chicken parm was delish. But that’s all it was — a very large piece of chicken parm, with a tiny swish of sauce and a side of pasta. Oh, and garlic is the second ingredient in every dish. The coffee was great too. Didn’t have dessert.

We went in the afternoon for a book club meeting. The panini and espresso were good. The best part was the gelato. Delicious! Great place to relax and enjoy a good meal. We will be back to try the dinner menu.

My wife and I tried this recently opened restaurant last night for dinner. We enjoyed a great meal. We split a Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes appetizer which was light, cooked to perfection, and served with delightful pickled vegetable strips. My wife enjoyed the Diver Sea Scallops served with asparagus risotto and a small side salad. She was pleased with the dish, though she would have liked one more scallop. I had the Braised Short Ribs and a small side salad. The short ribs were cooked to perfection and served on a bed of polenta and carrots. The food presentation was very nice and our server was very helpful and attentive. At present they are waiting for their liquor license to be approved. There is a full bar awaiting that event. If you like fine dining, you will like Moma.
