Marble Slab Creamery

I’m more of a gelato or regular ice cream girl myself but it was enjoyable. The employee was kind but seemed puzzled that all I wanted was the dark chocolate ice cream, no cone, no sprinkles, just plain ice cream!
I have a regular place I go to get gelato but we were in the area & it was ok.

Slow service but really really good ice cream. I will go back. Also, unlimited mix-​ins!

I don’t know why this place has only 2 star, but I haven’t had any bad experience at this store. The employees are very nice and especially Upasana, she treat me and my family really well. And they go out of there way to make sure your a happy customer.
I had a $ 5 off coupon which had expired and I didn’t knew abt it, the girl said she wasn’t authorizes to accept expired coupon which I totally understand, she ask the other guy who was working with her I assume he must be the manager he said that’s fine go ahead take it, and the girl did also told me abt the marble slab app, where I can get coupon and stuff when I sign up and it’s free and that can be used at any marble slab location so that I don’t have to worry abt the expired coupon
Really great customer service

I’m so used to a much better service at the one in southshore harbor. This marble slab has crapy customer service. I asked for ores as roping and she only put 3 small pieces of Oreos.

It’s ice cream season! I just polished off a $ 6.00+ double scoop of chocolate + amaretto combo with two mixin’s on a waffle cone. Get this with marshmallows and strawberries, yum!
I have been a loyal custy for decades and have never had an unpleasant experience at this location. The service is friendly, and I never wait longer than a minute or two for the mix.
With all my regular dining establishments, I rarely stray beyond what I normally get, but the other flavors here like sweet cream or red velvet might tempt you. They are not as flamboyant with their offerings like let’s say, Fat Cat Creamery, but the choices are solid. The ice cream cakes look pretty tempting, so I will have to find a special occasion to try one of those. («Hey, it’s Wednesday!»)
Despite all the prior bad reviews, I still think this is a solid ice cream shop worth a visit. My dog and I get to sit outside unbothered with a spectacular view of a parking lot. You will hardly notice it, though, because the ice cream treat will send you to another world – one a lot sweeter than Bay Area Blvd. traffic.

The ice cream was ok but $ 5.25 for one cup? Ridiculous. They need to lower their prices.

I downloaded Unilocal because my service was that bad. They don’t give you the right amount of ice cream and if you get browse just as little as possible. The manager played with his face and hair. Then filled the soft server ice cream. Them help customers with out washing his hands. I asked for a punch card and she then she acted like she didn’t know English and made me wait forever. Then when I finally got the card I had to ask for the second punch. The worst experience ever in a marble slap. …

Hubby and I just stopped in and boy were we surprised at the crap service. Why didn’t I check the reviews and mosey on over to Ben & Jerry’s???
The young girl behind the counter was pleasant but the older gentleman was a royal prick. No eye contact, no smile and to top it off — he rolled his eyes and made a face at my husband when we asked for a top.
We will NOT be back to this crap hole. I prefer Ben & Jerry’s anyway but completely forgot they were just across the street.

The only thing that saved from a scathing review is the ice cream. Though they were a bit skimpy on the toppings, the ice cream was pretty good.
I’m not sure if they’re just unhappy with their lives but they never say thank you or welcome anyone. When asking what we wanted I just get the «yes?» nod. I’ve always found that rude.
Also, I know coupons can be frustrating but if you don’t like them, DON’T PUT THEM IN THE PAPER! And if a guest has one, don’t sigh rudely and ask your coworker if it is valid. I don’t think I’ll be back at the location for awhile. I enjoy the ice cream but the level of service is out of line.

I visited here a few days ago and was underwhelmed. The ice cream was pretty decent, but a few complaints .
(1) They were out of a lot of the suggested toppings; I’d be OK with it if it was just one or two, but it seemed like quite a few.
(2) The line wasn’t very well-​organized; I’d hope that the employee could do a better job of managing traffic.
(3) They’re pretty skimpy on the quantity here. I got the small cup and received hardly more than a single scoop, along with *half* of a Reese’s peanut butter cup. This was a bit disappointing, especially since similar places (Ben and Jerry’s, Carvel, Cold Stone Creamery, etc.) are usually very generous.
(4) For all this, it’s a bit much for a portion of ice cream, no? I’m almost inclined to just head over to the supermarket and get an entire carton with ample toppings and the like.

High prices, rude employees, overly sweet and low quality ice cream…
This place used to have a kind of mom and pop feel, fifteen years ago. What has happened?
Typical brand ice cream at higher pricing. Opt for frozen yogurt or Ben & Jerry’s across the street. You deserve better than this.

This place has terrible service… There were two people working, looked like husband and wife. They don’t do a very good job at making sure who’s next is correct, not very friendly, not welcoming… This is the 2^nd time they have been like this, I won’t be back.

Tasty ice cream, fast service. I only wish they had a couple more ice cream flavors to choose from.

My fiancé and I had decided to stop for dessert one day so we went into the Marble Slab in Webster, TX my fiancé ordered chocolate ice cream with a chocolate dipped sprinkle waffle cone. As we were walking outside he bit into the cone and out comes a cock roach. It was extremely disgusting. I’m lactose intolerant so I don’t typically frequent your chain but I always remember thinking that those waffle racks are very unsanitary considering just about anything can fly in or crawl in. I’m hoping that this will be taken in a constructive way and sent to the higher ups so that they can figure out a new solution for storing the waffle cones (like in sealed containers).

Bathroom was dirty. Enough said.

Good ice cream & mixins — Service was a bit slow. Price is a bit high for what you get. $ 3.99 for a single scoop with mixin, whether or not you get a cup or waffe cone. Gourment waffle cones (chocolate dipped, sprinkles, nuts, etc) are extra. Kids scoop (cone or cup) is $ 3.49.

I only love the Yogurt here. Icecream is ok, service is slow and they try to give you small scoops.
