They always give top dollar for items that other places won’t even look at. They also sell high quality items at great prices. If they get to know you and know that you’ll repay the loan they’ll give you a bit more money.
In reply to the guy that’s upset that they won’t help someone in need: They’re a business, not a charity. They have to make money to be able to support their families. If you don’t have something they can sell then suck it up and take it like a man instead of whining. Most people who are selling to pawn shops, including myself, are at a pretty low point (financially) in their lives. It’s our responsibility to take care of ourselves, not theirs or anyone else’s.
