Great pot stickers and crab rangoon… stopped by for a quick snack… excellent service

I ordered two of the special moo shoo entrees with pancakes and pork lo mein. Very skimpy on the pork, shrimp, and chicken in both boxes. The pancakes were Mexican tortillas which were nuked in the microwave and beyond hard and dry when my delivery arrived. The pork lo mein had two snow peas and about 4 small shreds of pork in the whole box. I paid a whopping 43.00 for some stir fry bull shit and hard tortillas standing in proxy for real mandarin light crepes. Will never order from them again

Worst Restaurant Ever!!! Save your time and money. Order Showok or any other restaurant for that matter. These people are pathetic! Ordered a carry out order. Paid for it. Was in the car on the way there and received a call saying they decided to close early and would not fulfill my order, It was 6:45pm!!! Give me a break. Do not give these people your money. Completely clueless when it comes to customer service. They don’t care if you spend your money with them, so why should you.

Excellent service. For a convenient(order online!) and perfectly acceptable Chinese I highly recommend Yong China.

The man gets food from here occasionally. It’s typically ok, but not great. Tonight, I had the worst egg drop soup I have ever had. It was so salty we just poured it down the sink. It is on his way home, so it isn’t worth going back to exchange. I can’t believe no one tasted it. The Gerneral Tso’s Chicken was overcooked and rather stringy. Not a good night for them or for us. Very disappointed in the quality today.

THISFOODISWORTHORDERING! I ordered takeout with a few friends on a Friday night and received timely, tasty food. The crispy beef was absolutely delicious(maybe the best I’ve had) and the General Tsos, which is my usual go-to, was pretty good as well. The crab rangoon was a lot less sweet than most, which I actually very much enjoyed. Definitely worth ordering if this is a nearby location for you!

Ordered the usual fare of shrimp fried rice, egg roll, potsticker, egg drop soup. What was probably the most exciting thing was how you could order and pay through the Unilocal app. That feature is clutch. However, not all places on Unilocal are setup for this which is a darn shame. The food was good and delivery came within 30 min. All in all a good experience and will order from here again.

Food is excellent, service is polite and fast. Wish I lived closer to this place, it’s a destination meal for me. I drive 35 miles to eat here. Hot braised eggplant even converts eggplant haters.

Would not order from Yong China ever again. Terrible customer service and mediocre food. I placed an larger order totaling $ 70 for delivery and was not given an estimated time for delivery. It came about 40 minutes later. The diver was not sure what the total due was, so he had to go back to his car and grab the receipt which he then did not give to me. We are staving and opened the bag to find that they forgot our order of crab rangoon. I had to called to inquire and the guy told me that he would have to wait until the driver returned and review the receipt to see if we were charged for it or not before he would send us the missing item. He was very stubborn and keep instating that we did not order it, but he could not confirm this because the driver had the only copy of of our order with him. He promised to call me back and let me know — this all happened about 20 minutes before their closing time on a weeknight. He called me back 10 minutes later and said that the driving was bringing us an order or crab rangoon. No mention if we were charged for it or not. There was no apology, no receipt for either order, and the crab rangoon were cold when they arrived. They quality of the food was just ok. I would not waste my time ordering from these guys again.

I called to order for delivery. The first guy was polite. I told him I was going to look at the menu on Unilocal and call back. When I called back I got another guy who was very rude and sarcastic he told me different prices from the menu I was looking at and when I told him that he scoffed and said I don’t know what menu you are looking at it must be 10 years old so I politely said I’m going to go now then his tone changed a bit and said we have multiple menus so what do you want. I hung up. I ordered from China King instead. At least their menu is consistent.

Typical carry-out Chinese food. We tried egg foo and shrimp fried rice. Both were standard for carry out places. I wish STL had more quality Chinese food restaurants though.

First of all, they DONOT have a lunch buffet. I was told by the gentleman who greeted me that they haven’t had one for a year. Went for lunch on a Friday and we were the only customers. Food was good, not outstanding. Just like about 100 other Chinese restaurants in the area. I really have no complaints, it was just alright.

Love this place. As most have mentioned: super fast delivery. There have been times when I haven’t even finished writing the check and they’re at the door. We have a standard order of crab Rangoon, beef broccoli, orange chicken and fried rice… hold the white rice since we are not fans. Never a problem and there is always enough for at least 3 leftover lunches the next day. This order feeding 4 adults the 1st night. Everyone is very friendly and polite. Always.

Better than any other Chinese delivery restaurant I’ve tried in Webster Groves. As many of you have mentioned, there isn’t a whole lot of great Chinese food around here! I ordered the appetizer platter for 2(2 beef kebabs, 2 crab rangoon, 1 egg roll cut in half, 2 fried wontons, 2 chicken drummies, and 2 fried shrimp) which was decent and adequate. Nothing great, but nothing bad or offensive either. The sesame chicken was good as was the fried rice. One thing I will say that is overwhelmingly positive is that the delivery is SUPERFAST!!! Not only that, but the food was piping hot when it arrived even though it’s under 30 degrees outside. I’m really impressed by that!

I am addicted to Yong China. I get it at least once a week. I think they put crack in the food, because I am strung out after too many days without Yong takeout. The crab rangoon is REALLY good — not your usual pure cream cheese, overly sweet rangoon. Instead had some sort of slight peppery seasoning and chives inside. They rocked(but be sure to specifically ask for a side of red sweet and sour sauce). Potstickers had potential, but ours were a little salty. I’ll give them a second chance some other time. Ordered general tso chicken, and it was all white, good pieces of meat. A taaad on the dry side but we ordered only two hours before close on a Monday night. Good sauce, good quality chicken. The fried rice was also delicious. Overall it hit the spot for what we were craving. Delivery was pretty fast, staff is friendly, and the food is good. This is my go-to delivery/takeout spot for Chinese!

Yong China restaurant is the best Chinese food that I have had in St Louis — vegetables good quality and NOT overcooked! Seems to be flash cooked to sear outsides but keep the inside of the pieces crisp and tasty. Love the low mein(Hong Kong) style. Quiet dining area; nice to be able to speak with companions.

As Matt R. mentioned, the chinese delivery options in the Webster area are all pretty terrible. If you happen to live there — or anywhere nearby, really — I suggest you expand your search and try this place. This is the best«americanized» chinese delivery food i’ve ever had. Never had a bad experience here, and the staff is very friendly. I’ve only had chicken dishes(General Tso, Orange, Kung Pao) but they’ve all been outstanding. All your go-to chinese delivery appetizers like crab rangoon, spring rolls, etc. are all accounted for and fried to perfection. If you’re in the mood for cheap chinese food you really can’t go wrong here.

This was the worst Chinese food to have ever met my tongue. Their special chow mein was more like special slop mein with rubber shrimp. It was covered in soy sauce goo and soggy veggies that looked and tasted like baby poo. As for the chef special crunchy beef… I think the chefs ever so special ingredient was ketchup. It was super tangy. And the kentucky fried chicken blobs covered in sweet sauce, I mean the sweet and sour chicken, was below edible. Filled with so much sodium and awful taste, it left us with unbearable MSG headaches and the fried food stomache grumbles through the night. But the service and crab ragoons were good. Go here if you want to leave hungry and leave the slimy leftovers behind. I’m sticking to Noodle Café or King Doh.

I stopped in today for lunch and ate from the lunch buffet, which was quite good. Crab ragoon and egg rolls were spot on. All of the meat dish’s were good also. When I walked up to the buffet table I noticed there was a film over the hot/sour soup, which was a turn off, but I decided to try it anyway and the soup was good. The service was great. He refilled my coke and took plates off the table quickly. As far as Chinese buffets go, this was one of the best I’ve been to.

Best service of any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. The guy we always see when we arrive or talk to on the phone is one of the nicest people ever and makes us want to come back over and over just for great, attentive service! Service is easily 5⁄5. I started with a Tsing Tao beer($ 4.75) and then we had a thicker, tasty egg drop soup($ 4.75 for 2 very large bowls), followed by an order of crab rangoon(6 for $ 4.75). I love their crab rangoon. Their soup and crab rangoon is 4⁄5 compared to other Chinese restaurants. My husband enjoyed his Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, and my favorite is the Sesame Chicken($ 8.95 for dinner portion). They make it the right way here — not cheating you with giant wads of dough with only a little chicken in it like other places — they have lightly breaded chicken chunks mixed with sesame seeds, broccoli, water chestnuts, and carrots. This is very definitely mostly chicken over vegetable. The entrée was so big, my husband and I could have split one, but that just means I have leftovers to enjoy the next day. I would give their sesame chicken a 4⁄5 as well. They offer delivery as well and have a lunch buffet during the week, but I’ll have to admit their lunch buffet doesn’t do them the justice they deserve. It’s a little small with somewhat limited options. Maybe we came at the wrong time; maybe you have to do the buffet really early to get the best stuff.
