Naturally Pure Salon

A nice Aveda salon with the standard accoutrements and familiar scents of such places. Not cheap, but reasonably priced.

Was having a hard time finding an Aveda salon that worked for me. I’ve visited 2 in the area and wasn’t really pleased. Then, I found Naturally Pure and made an appointment with Christine. She did an amazing job on my hair and took care of all my hair needs, spending a little extra time on me to make sure I was ok with the cut. Phenomenal customer service!

I have been going to Naturally Pure for over two years after struggling to find a salon after moving back to St. Louis. I get a partial foil every two months by Christine and couldn’t be happier. The aveda color looks much more natural and makes my hair much softer than other brands. Christine is excellent at listening to what I want but pushing back gently when she has suggestions-​though she should have told me no when I asked for bangs! Every five years I it’s a good idea to try even though I didn’t like them the time before. What’s the definition of insanity??? Anyway, I’m a loyal Naturally Pure customer and recommend it (and Christine!) any time I can.

I am very hard to please with salons. My schedule is very packed (work, school, kids) so I like to be able to get my haircut during my lunch hour, they have to take cards (who carries a checkbook anymore?) and I have to feel like I’m going to get a modern cut.
I decided to try out Naturally Pure after my previous stylist moved just out of the «lunchtime haircut» distance for me. I called on a whim and was able to get an appointment within a few days. I saw Christine and she did a great job! She really listened to what I wanted and gave me the cut I’ve been looking for. I’ve been wanting bangs and the past two stylists I’ve seen (at other places) have been afraid to give me bangs — she listened and gave me exactly what I wanted and they look great.
She styled my hair very well after the cut so I was easily able to go back to the office. They even let me use some of the Aveda make-​up for a touch-​up!
Lovely salon in a beautiful space, great service. I’ll be back!

Really great salon but I have had to wait a few times with an appointment. The building it’s in is really great — can be hard to find if you’re not familiar with the Webster Groves area. Everything is up to date and they have coffee, tea, etc while you wait. They just got an esthetician who does facials, waxes, etc. I’d really like them to add manicures to their list of services because I haven’t found a good manicure spot yet.
