The best food and best services I have had. The entire restaurant waits on you as you enjoy such an amazing and unique meal. Will definitely make this a frequent dining place!

I spend a good amount of time in St. Louis and love the pizza, and Dewey’s is by far the best, in my opinion! The salads are big and the dough they use on the pizzas is delightful. I always get the ham and pineapple, and I’m pretty stuck in my ways, so I can’t comment on the whole menu. You won’t be disappointed!

Holy cow a review that is hot off the press! Considering that I just ate here tonight, it should be a good one. Have heard about Dewey’s from time to time in conversation for the past like year and a half or so and have never been. Birthday was today and so I thought what better time than to try out Dewey’s. The place was busy tonight and by busy I mean people waiting to the point that they were almost hovering over the table. There were several groups there and a bunch of kids. All the kids were watching the people make the pizza, even I watched. I thought it was pretty neat to watch and enjoyed the show as we waited for our table. We get seated and right away our server was there to get our drinks. I was really happy with how fast the waiter came by with our drinks, unlike in other places where we have to wait for awhile. Food was yummy. My friend and her boyfriend had split a small pizza, which looked yummy and was just the right amount for the two of them. My other two friends and I split a Green Lantern, instead of the red sauce we switched it for white sauce. I told the server that I had a slight allergy to tomatoes. She promptly asked how bad it was so as to make sure the kitchen knew. I was thankful for that and told her it wasn’t super bad. The Green Lantern was delicious. The mix of veggies and pesto on the pizza was the right amount. I enjoyed the taste of it. My only complaint was that the pizza was a little salty in some spots. Not enough to worry about though.

One of my favorite pizza places of all time! I suggest the classic pepperoni pizza with jalepenos! They use fresh jalepenos so it makes it really spicy, which I love!

«The game starts at 7.» «So… Pizza? We have an hour and 10 minutes if we leave now. How about Dewey’s? It has good ratings on Unilocal!» That was the conversation that preceded the trip to Dewey’s on a somewhat cold and rainy Saturday afternoon. Putting the Christmas tree together and decorating used up all my energy and after being at work for 10 hours, I was in no mood to be playing chef. The place was packed and there was a 15 – 20 minute wait for a table. While waiting, I was entertained by the pizza making, dough-throwing process along with the children pressing their noses close to the big glass window, watching in awe. It was fun to watch! Twenty minutes later, a table became available. I started with a side order of Greek salad which was brought to the table rather quickly. I do appreciate the fact that they don’t use iceberg lettuce here for their salads. I really feel like I am getting proper nutrients from my salad instead of just watery leaves. With that said, I loved the flavors of their Greek salad. It is so different than anywhere else! I am not an expert on salads by any means but one word… yummylicious! The pizza was wonderful and was delivered to the table rather quickly as well. Tangy sauce, great cheese consistency, and they weren’t shy when it comes to the toppings! I loved both halves and would order it again the same way. The service was fast and friendly. I like this place, it’s close to home, and will definitely be back! Thanks for the dinner help, Unilocal.;-)

Second time there — still super pizza and service! Can’t beat the walnut salad and green lantern pizza. Kids loved watching them fling dough and they had great brew on tap.

We got a half and half pie, one side was meatball, one side was their fig concoction. Both were excellent, if not a bit overpriced. I would certainly go again for a date night with the wife.

Dewey’s is an old favorite of mine. I’m originally from Cincinnati, which, I believe, is where Dewey’s began. I went a lot throughout high school. Coming to STL for college, I was very excited to see them opening around there! Dewey’s has some awesome pizza options because they offer such a variety of toppings. Some of our favorites include Socrates Revenge, Green Lantern and basically anything with a lot of meat on it! They also have some pretty incredible salads! Although I was a vegetarian for twelve years, I never liked salads… until I tried Dewey’s Grape and Candied Walnut Salad with their amazing Basil Dressing!!! I frequently go to Dewey’s just for this salad and add Amish Chicken to it. They usually have a great Harvest Salad in the fall with pumpkin seeds, Boursin Cheese and bacon. I strongly encourage you to check out their seasonal salad and pizza because they’re usually pretty boss!

We had the porky fig and the green lantern. The porky fig was delicious. The salty Gorgonzola with the fig was perfect. Crust on both pizzas had good flavor, but I wish they were a little more sturdy. Had to fork and knife some of it. Maybe some cornmeal would help? Green lantern was tasty, but didn’t have the flavor harmony of the porky fig. Decent beers, but not a huge selection. I’ll try a salad next time too. They looked amazing.

Yes. Just yes. Socrates’ Revenge is the best! Vito’s and Dewey’s compete for my ‘best pizza in town’ status. I love whichever one I’m with. The crust is what it’s all about… and the fact that they use(some?) meat sourced locally. The BBQ chicken pizza is my husband’s favorite. This place does not disappoint.

Dewey’s is set in a smaller, trendy, minimalist space. The pizza was great. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and a Dr. Dre pizza(olive oil, mozzarella cheese, green peppers, red onions, amish chicken, bacon, & jalapeños with diced tomatoes & ranch after the bake). They have exotic toppings if you’re into that sort of thing. My friend thought Dewey’s pizza is the best in the St. Louis area. I wouldn’t go that far, but it is darn good. The prices are fair. The service was tremendous. Dewey’s had several servers working and they did a wonderful job taking care of the customers. It took a few minutes longer than I expected to receive the pizza, but it was Saturday night and the restaurant was busy.

I had never been to a Dewey’s Pizza before going here with one of my St. Louis friends. He said that it’s good and that he likes Dewey’s pizzas in general. So he took me to this one. I had driven by it many times and never stopped to see it or eat there. We ordered a Brooklyn bomber pizza to split between the two of us. I had tea and he had a Coke. The Brooklyn Bomber pizza was a pepperoni pizza with extra veggies like onions, black olives, and green bell pepper put on top of it. The olives and other veggies were not completely cooked into the cheese on the pizza and was just sitting on top as if they cooked the pepperoni pizza first and then put the veggies on it later out of the oven. It tasted good to me, but I would have preferred the mushrooms to be completely cooked with the other veggies. The atmosphere was very family oriented; however, it was incredibly loud. I mean really, REALLY loud. The walls are bare brick and the ceiling was metal with the air ducts showing like large tubes. The sound bounces off those very easily and it was really loud to the point of annoying and if you have hearing problems, that could annoy you, too. There were almost no tables available when we got there so that told me that this location must be very popular to the Webster community. On the other hand, our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu and the drink menu, and that was helpful to me since I had never been there before.

When we got into St. Louis, it seemed like everyone was raving about Dewey’s Pizza and their white sauce. So today we ordered four pies: Socrates Revenge, Wild Mushroom, Caprese, and Hawaiian(with white sauce). The Socrates was worth the hype. The fontina, feta, olives, and spinach make for a creamy, salty surprise that is worth braving the crowds to have. The Wild Mushroom was mushroom-ocopia – literally, mushrooms everywhere. Delicious if you like mushrooms. If you don’t, don’t bother trying to pick them off, the Wild Mushroom will when. The Caprese has a lot of potential. The tomatoes were fresh, and the pie looks super appetizing. Overall, though, I find the white sauce a bit bland. Come to think of it, the mozzarella cheese, too. This pizza felt like it needed a dose of salt and pepper, so «P-pushed It Real Good,» and it was great. The Hawaiian with white sauce struggled to hold its ingredients. It was forks and fingers all the way with this one, and it was least impressive of the lot. With all of these great ingredients, I wasn’t expecting canned pineapple. My wife and I are split on this place. I give it a solid three, but she rates it much higher; so I’ve split the difference somewhat on this review. Some other highlights — the crusts are light, buttery and garlicky. You _will_finish them. — the service is commendable. The guys behind the counter are entertaining. One guy was tossing flour at kids. It was really nice.

Finally made it over to Dewey’s as my softball friends have been raving about it. Stopped in around 8:30/9 on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. Service was attentive and pleasant. Ordered a half ‘n half pizza with the Edgar Allen Poe and the Taco Pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed both types and they both reheated well in the toaster oven! The EAP is def more my jam as I’m into the kalamata olives, goat cheese, roasted garlic heaven it offers, but the Taco pizza was also surprisingly pleasant with just a slight teaser of some heat at the end. If you like leftovers, I’ve gotten 3 meals out of a medium pizza so it’s not a bad bargain either.

I love Deweys! I have zero complaints on their taste & service. The last time I was here we beat the crowd, but barely. The line was wrapped around the hall near the front door by the time we left. I enjoyed seeing how their service worked — their team works very well together to get things moving. Different people came around, asking if we needed different things, drinks, etc, rather than relying on a single server. We enjoyed that part, even if that meant they asked us 4 different times if we needed another beer :)

We love the pizza and the service here… Dewey’s in Webster is doing it right!!! The pizza is great – a chewy, high-gluten crust and the right amount and mix of ingredients. The service is also great – attentive but not annoying. It is a fantastic place to bring kids thanks to the entertaining antics of the pizza makers. They get busy in the early dinner hours – it starts to fill up with families at 5:00 or so. And it gets loud, unfortunately loud. But we take our kids there and contribute to the noise level, so I can’t complain. One downside is that it is pricey… not overpriced, just pricey.

Guys. This is the best pizza. I only have 2 complaints. And clearly they aren’t a huge issue because i gave 5⁄5. 1. Need to add to the draught craft beer selection 2. Please open a city location! Dewey’s is always packed. Whether the Ucity or Webster location, i’ve ALWAYS had to wait for a table. Yet i never remember to go earlier to give myself extra time. Keep this in mind if you’re on a tight schedule. Not sure if they take reservations or not. They have some great pizzas on their menu but i generally go with the build-your-own: red sauce, green olives, Canadian bacon. Perfection. The interior has a small bar with seating, booths along the walls and tables in the middle of the dining room. Upon entering you’ll see a window you can peek through to watch them make the pizzas. An open kitchen is a kitchen that isn’t hiding anything! Great for a date night, or as my most recent visit proved, a double-date night.

Nearly a clone of the one in Kirkwood and the ones I loved back in Ohio. We didn’t have the usual wait or parking issues. Not sure if that is a dinner time problem at this location or not. Lunch time we walked right in and it was terrific. No lunch discounts when I guess some other St. Louis options besides pizza can be a little more economical at lunch. I love all of their vegetarian pizzas. I eat meat, but when you go to deweys, you have to do vegetarian. They rock. The Edgar Allan Poe and Billy Goat come with generous portions of goat cheese which is always saltier than I expect. Wild Mushroom is a personal favorite. Also the server forgot to mention that we can do pizzas half one and half another. Oh well, I forgot too but I don’t go to Deweys every day. Its a special treat we love to take home. Just 2 specialty pizzas instead of 4 at the same price is pretty disappointing and the only thing holding back 5 stars!

We were very disappointed with Dewey’s the last time we ordered from there. Ryan’s Inferno with extra cheese was excellent, and the X-Pepperoni was very good, but the Dr. Dre was terrible, dry with almost no cheese on it. Just dried pieces of chicken and dried jalapeños on top — pretty bad! Still fans of Dewey’s, but Dr. Dre is coming off our list of pie options.
