This was our first visit to Sake but they didn’t let us down. They were very nice, attentive, and the food was delicious! We had the Ahi Tower, the Tropical roll which was one of my favorites and we had hibachi which made enough for us to take home for lunch tomorrow. We will be back when I visit the area again!

For someone who has eaten Japanese food around the world, this place is lucky I gave them a 2! My husband and I went for Valentine’s last night. when we walked in I thought we were in a pool hall! After standing around for 10 minutes or so, someone finally asked if we were there to eat. We were seated and our order taken. I had the filet and shrimp and my hubby had the steak and scallops. The salad was brought out and the dressing(which is my fav) was so full of sugar I gagged! The chef came out and was the least bit entertaining. I was the only one that would try to engage in conversation and he just would not speak. My husband only received 4 scallops and not only was his steak not med rare, it was nothing but fat and was shoe leather. My filet was tough and I couldn’t chew it and for the first time ever I had to add soy sauce to the fried rice because it was so bland. So, for a $ 50 meal the only thing that was good was the soup and the glass of tea! WE will NOT be back!

I was a little bit skeptical since we were the ONLY people seated on Monday night. But they quickly won us over as the best Hibachi steakhouse around. To start with… all of the food was perfectly seasoned and not too salty. So many times hibachi steakhouse over salt the menu with soy sauce while cooking. Sake uses some different soy mixtures to make the perfect level of salt and spice. The steak, chicken, and shellfish was cooked perfectly! Vegetables were crisp and flavorful! I would highly recommend giving Sake a try! The only thing I wish they had was some sort of «Yum Yum» sauce to be serve with the vegetables.

Second time eating here. Had hibachi and sushi. The steak hibachi was okay but nothing that would rate 4 or 5 stars. Sushi was really good and the rolls that were being served to others looked excellent. Our server and cook were both good.

Pleasantly surprised by the food and service we received from Sake. We love eating at Japanese Steak Houses and our family likely eats at them at least 5 – 10 times per year. Traveling to Weatherford I thought we might not get good service or a Hibachi chef who knew how to entertain as well as cook. We got both, our chef prepared the best Fillet Magnon I have ever had in a Japanese steak house. That surprised me over a Benihana, or Kobe Steak house we have had in Dallas, Vegas, Denver, etc. The Ahi Tuna tower was one of the best we have had and my two sons loved their Sushi(California rolls and Tuna rolls). The Ginger Dressing on our salads also very tasty. Only thing I would say could have been improved would likely be that the clear soup was a little bland. My 11 year old was smart enough to order the Miso soup and it was tasty. Overall, if you love Hibachi steak houses and are in the Weatherford area, you should give Sake a chance.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for dinner for our 15th anniversary, as we were craving sushi. It was our first time here, but we will certainly be back. The food was exceptionally good, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. We ordered sushi rolls, the ahi tower, nigiri salmon, and vegetable tempura, all of which were of exceptional quality and flavor. The prices are compatible with any good sushi restaurant, not cheap, but certainly not the most expensive either. We didn’t try the hibachi grill, but may do that on our next visit. I think we have found our new favorite restaurant in Weatherford.

We really like to eat here. The food is very good and the best of menu I like the most is the weatherford roll. All of my children and friends like that too.

Great hibachi and sushi, the hibachi cooked with a salad and soup which are both excellent, hibachi is fun but the level of the cooks varies, but the food quality is consistent.

While traveling across country, my husband and I were craving some Japanese food. We needed something conducive to our route. Upon seeing this place from the outside, we were a little concerned before remembering how some of our favorite restaurants are holes in the wall. Overall, the food was fantastic. I’m not much of a sushi eater, but my husband is and said that it was outstanding. I got the chicken teriyaki dinner and was full ¾ of the way through. Most definitely a good place to go, whether you are driving by or living there.

Food was great didn’t leave stuffed but was satisfied the portions are definitely smaller than other Japanese Steakhouse’s. The 2 Chef’s working weren’t very entertaining but they definitely knew how to use the grill. All our food was cooked to perfection. Service was pretty good they kept drinks full but wasn’t very social considering the Resturant wasn’t busy. Will we be back most definitely. Will probably try the sushi next time.

Had an uh-oh feeling when we walked in, its definitely not a typical Japanese steakhouse… Much more like an old diner… We were the only patrons in the hibachi area at 6:30pm on Monday, there was one other family in the sushi area. We had a sushi roll, which was excellent, and all ordered hibachi. The wait staff is attentive and has great service. The chef was quiet but skilled, multiple attempts to chat him up were met with yes/no answers… The price is about the same as a higher end teppanyaki place, hence the 4 star review.

We found this place about a month after moving to Weatherford and this has quickly turned into one of our favorite spots! Both my husband and I are very accustomed to eating a lot of sushi, as we both lived in Southern California for a very long time, where we usually got very fresh, high quality sushi. We were a little skeptical trying a place out here in Weatherford, Texas.(Although transporting fresh fish has come a loooonnngg way in the past 10 or 15 years!) However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of sushi and skill set of the chef. They are very accommodating to custom orders and they usually will make us hamachi kama(grilled fish collarbone) when they have it in house… an item not found on their regular menu. Comparing it to sushi you find in LA or even Dallas is not a fair comparison, as being a sushi restaurant in Weatherford has its limitations. You won’t find Toro or Uni, or even Salmon Skin on the menu, but it does have all the basics with even a few surprises. Their menu is pretty diverse, although they seem to cater to the locals which err on the side of your over-sauced fried crap with cream cheese. They also have a hibachi menu which we have tried, and find very satisfying. The hibachi chef we had was funny, entertaining, and carrying the same skillset you find at a Benihana. Also, we are very excited about their new addition of a pool table, located on the«sushi side» of the restaurant!

Absolutely the best hibachi in weatherford. Great prices, great customer service and great food. The spicy salmon roll is simple but so delicious. Hibachi chicken, rice and veggies is my favorite. We go several times a month!

Saw some mixed reviews between this and urbanspoon, but thought we would try it anyways. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Waitress was incredibly nice, the food was very good, and the price was lower than we have experienced at any other hibachi grill. Portions are a little smaller(what else would you expect w lower prices), but I still left full and not stuffed. We caught a glimpse at the lunch prices and will definitely come here for lunch in the future as well(less than for hibachi steak). Highly recommended, will return.

The staff was very nice! I personally think the other Hibachi Steakhouse is better. The atmosphere is nicer also.

The atmosphere was good. The fried rice was delicious. The hibachi chicken was not what I was looking for. I like a lot more teriyaki on my hibachi chicken. Their version of Yum-Yum sauce has a fruity sweet taste to it, which is delicious, just not on the chicken. It was good with the shrimp.

As a person who has eaten a fair share of hibachi places this place is OK. The food was good, maybe a little better than most. I notice whenever I got to a hibachi place and order their chicken, its always dry. Here the food wasn’t dry and very flavorful. I think that since me and my fiancé were the only ones there the food didn’t have to sit and wait for other peoples orders. But, the reason why I didn’t give this a higher rating was because of the presentation. You pay for the show, that’s why the food cost so much. The guy was nice but he had no idea what he was doing. I wouldn’t recommend coming here but if the place is empty then go ahead.

My wife and I heard about this spot and it’s near home, so gave it a try. Doesn’t look too special from the outside or the inside either for that matter. But after some menu reading we discovered in the back of the restaurant they have hibachi grills. We moved to a grill and made our decisions, chicken and scallops for me, steak and shrimp for her. We waited a few mins for the«chef» to finish with other patrons. Our chef was quite skilled with his props and had a good sense of humor. Flirting a lil with my wife, who seemed to enjoy the attention, hehe. The food came out very good, maybe a lil too much soy sauce but that could just be me. Rice was great, service was great and all at a reasonable price. Didn’t try the sushi, maybe next time,

Weatherford’s newest Japanese steak house is wonderful! I had lunch there today an had the hibachi steak. Service was fast. The fried rice had a bit too much ginger in it for my tastes but the steak was off the hook. They also offer sushi and bento boxes for lunch. Located right next door to kid to kid.
