I’ve been here twice now. This is a small, but nearly brand new location. With the myriad of Mexican restaurants available all over the area, there are a few other places I would say I like better. However, El Fenix of has decent prices and a menu that almost everyone can find something on. I like that they have several different salads to choose from that are actually quite filling. Their chips are VERY good. The food is definitely Texmex and not authentic Mexican… it’s much better than On a the Border.
The hostesses and the manager I interacted with at this location were very friendly. The waiter/​waitress staff has been decent — no major complaints. It was decent service with no major complaints. The restaurant and restrooms very very clean. It’s a bit crowded Saturday nights, but that’s to be expected. Overall not a bad place for a casual meal.

I been here twice now and I just was not that impressed with the quality and taste of their food. I advised the staff to add some cilantro to their salsa. Surprisingly, they have none in their salsa.

I ordered the wed special. I have to say this one is much better than the one on Camp Bowie in Ft Worth. The chips are fresher and the the food is just better. The manager Samuel is so much and loves to take care of his customers.

I love this place. I am so glad it came to Weatherford. All the staff are friendly and attentive and the food was delicious and the orders have never came out wrong. Will be visiting again and regularly.

New local restaurant in Weatherford. Good HH, good food. Not exceptional but good. It’s a change from the other Texas Mex places around here. Try it.

Never walked out of a restaurant before but I did at El Fenix. we weren’t greeted for at least 10 mins and when he came up to us he said «I’m actually supposed to be on break soon so your server will be off her break in 5 minutes to get yalls drinks and food.» If you manage to piss of a fellow server, then I can only imagine how mad non servers would be.
