Nice place to eat, staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Ordered the boiled shrimp po-boy. The sandwich has good flavor, my only complaint is personal. I like toasted bread on a po-boy. The sides were tasty. The fries were hot and crispy with good seasoning. The Coleslaw is made from scratch. They even give you a side of gumbo. The gumbo had good flavor and spice. I’m glad I had lunch there and will be back again soon.

We loved the fish tacos! It was a special they were running and we ordered two of them. We ordered their version of a low country boil as well, and it was good. They have a unique, garlicky seasoning on it that was a new spin on the dish. Those tacos were delicious, though!

I couldn’t even get a seat before I was sweating. It was at least 90 degrees inside the building. I asked if the AC was out and they said no it’s always this hot in here.

First authentic Cajun place I’ve found on the Fort Worth side of the metroplex. Small, divey little place, the food was really spicy and fresh. Most other Cajun places around here go too light on the spices. Not this place. The food was EXCELLENT. So was the service, for that matter. My new favorite restaurant in Weatherford.

First off, this place is NOT Cajun. Second, the server will convince you, nay insist you get the boom boom seasoning, even if you order something else. Even if that means they give you the boom boom against your request. And you had better like, no love, garlic. Because when you eat the boom boom, you will have the pleasure of tasting garlic for the next 3 days. My husband was disappointed in the fried catfish too, which luckily was not covered in boom boom. Needless to say, we were disappointed and will not return. Too bad, because we would have loved a real Cajun joint in town.

I had a good experience here. I had to change my order three times to accommodate menue changes and availability. The waitress was very apologetic and helpfull. Food was great, but no cajun atmosphere… MY only complaint is that I personally like my shrimp peeled when in a sauce, And the cup of gumbo didnt make the $ 5.95 mark.

Yum!!! Little skeptical at first since its in weatherford, thinking it may not be that great but man it was awesome. Had the fried platter and husband had shrimp and very tasty. Reminded us of shrimp in Gulf Shores.

The food was just ok. We have had better for the price. We came in on a Friday night and the place was packed but no one had their food. The waitress was young and not very professional. She told us their cook quit and so they had someone new back there that couldn’t keep up and it was gonna be a long while. There were several upset families. We were very patient and waited. 1.5 hours later food was out.

Marilyn is awesome! She’s so friendly and personable and made us feel at home! The food was also amazing. My boyfriend and I tried the wings as an appetizer and split an entrée that had crawfish, shrimp, andouille sausage, lobster, potatoes, and corn and it was so flavorful and plenty of food. Reasonably priced, too. The«bang bang» sauce on the wings and on the platter was terrific. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

My husband had eaten there one time without me. He took me last night and I love it! Faith was a wonderful waitress, very enjoyable. bang bang sauce is good, but a tad to much on my muscles. However, I will go back anytime I. Can. So happy it’s here and close. going to try as many things on menu as possible… loved the music in the back ground…

Okay, let me say that if your food is just so so, the service needs to be excellent. Both left much to be desired. Our waitress Faith was very kind and sweet, but needs more training and experience. When we first arrived, my wife realized her blood sugar was low so she asked our waitress for her salad right away and ahead of our meals because she was getting light headed. Faith was so sweet and said she would bring it right away. After watching Faith go back and forth in front of us about 10 times during the next 10 minutes she finally came to the table to bring us our drinks. At this time my wife politely asked if she could get some crackers to eat, Faith asked if she would instead like her salad now. My wife politely replied that would be great(given she had already asked more than 10 minutes ago for that already). About 15 more minutes went by with no crackers, no salad(Faith was one of 2 waitresses serving a total of 4 tables with customers in the restaurant). At this point, I got up and went to the bar to ask for crackers. The bartender(also very kind) was quick to get me a basket of crackers. When she handed them to me, Faith saw her handing me these crackers and I thought that would be a reminder to her that she had promised my wife 2 times she would bring her a salad… 15 minutes after I got the crackers my wife’s salad finally showed up. 5 minutes later our dinner showed up. The Fried Seafood platter was the special of the day(on Friday’s) so I ordered it. The Oysters were fine, the shrimp was okay, the Catfish was very dirty/earthy tasting. I have had Catfish many of times, this was not good Catfish. Overall, the meal was hot, however, Cajun food is supposed to have seasoning to it that is more than just salt. My 11 year old son(Known for over salting his food because he loves salt so much) complained that his shrimp was too salty. Yes, you heard that correctly, too salty for Mr. Salty. Non of the spices reminded me of anything Cajun. It’s a shame, the employees are kind and friendly, but if I had to guess, because they are not trained well, this place will not be in business for long. Too many restaurants to choose from in Weatherford to settle for oversalted food with poor service.

Yum! Yum! Yum! We were quickly greeted and sat in a comfy booth across from the game on the big screen. After ordering a beer, we decided on the seafood deluxe which is a great deal and feeds two easily. OMG! Everything in the dish was delicious! The crab was cooked to perfection, shrimp and crawfish, plus sausage corn and potatoes. We were given gloves and bibs to help with the mess and then hot towels to clean up. We ordered dessert to round out the meal and our ticket was under $ 50! Unbelievable! We will definitely be back to treat ourselves again!

We were looking around for a seafood place that would meet our needs for the day… we want some crab legs so we saw this place online and thought well let’s give it a try since we’re in the area and it’s new and we weren’t disappointed! We order the Seaford Deluxe which came out amazing and with a couple beers… Wow I can say it ended up being a terrific Sunday! Atmosphere was awesome… multiple games on and just a great family friendly place to enjoy some great Cajun food!

I was definitely hoping for a better experience. As the previous reviewer stated, it’s not really Cajun but more Chinese seafood with Cajun influence. I understand it is a new restaurant, but there are certain things that anyone should know about restaurants. My review is that of someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for years doing just about every job the restaurants had to offer. So, here we go. While looking over the menu I was confused to find Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon on the appetizers menu(not yet realizing it’s not a true traditional Cajun restaurant). Then, a full page dedicated to informing you about the«Bang Bang Sauce» in large font. While we were placing our orders, the waiter had to ask the manager every question we had, it turns out it was only his 3rd day, was he even trained properly? Most restaurants have a week to two week long training period. Eventually the manager came over to help the waiter take our order. She hiked her leg up and placed it in the booth seat next to my mother while she spoke to us(not very professional). I ordered the lunch portion Jambalaya with shrimp and Andouille sausage, and my mother ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp skewers appetizer as her meal, and we asked for an order of the spring rolls to start. We figured the owners/managers put that item on the menu because of their heritage, and so we figured why not, they’re probably good. Before the appetizer came out, we were brought a small sample of the bang bang shrimp. Lime juice, lemon pepper, garlic, and Cajun seasonings«mix to perfect»(according to my menu) is the sauce. Garlic, Garlic, Garlic. I almost couldn’t taste anything else after that. The spring rolls came out. 4 perfectly rolled exacting sized crispy spring rolls. And a side of a red slightly spicy sauce in a disposable plastic cup normally found in fast-food restaurants, or to-go orders, with the plastic lid still on it… Again, not a huge issue but c’mon, think about presentation. Biting into the spring rolls, we immediately realized they were premade, pre-packaged, frozen spring rolls. Not great, and practically mush inside. The sauce was ok. Then the meals came… well just one, my mothers’ skewers. The waiter placed the plate down and said enjoy and walked away. Politely my mother waited for my food to come to the table before eating. After a few minutes my jambalaya was delivered, and we began eating. Now I like jambalaya, I’ve had it on many occasions at many different places. This was not great. The jambalaya itself was a large portion of just rice and vegetables in the jambalaya sauce, in the middle of that was a large mound of dirty rice. Decorated around the ball of rice were 3 pieces of shrimp, and 3 pieces of sausage. Not even 3 links of sausage. 3 pieces maybe 1/8-inch thick, bias cut pieces of sausage on a large plate full of rice. For almost $ 11 on the lunch menu, I was hoping for a little more. The dirty rice was pretty good. The jambalaya was not. The shrimp was cooked with no seasonings of any kind; they were bland and a bit tough(overcooked). Not satisfied I slid my plate to the end of the table for the waiter to come and take care of. During this time my mother asked if I wanted to try hers because it was pretty good, I tried it and it was! Hallelujah! Flavors! But that quickly took a turn. As an appetizer, it is meant to be a finger food pick it up and eat it, it’s cooked through and wrapped in bacon(bacon is always a great idea). However, these shrimp weren’t de-veined. The dark line that can be seen from the tail down to the head of the shrimp has to be removed before cooking shrimp like that. If you’re getting shrimp to peel, that’s different, but this is supposed to be a fully prepared ready to go appetizer. For those of you who don’t know, the«vein» I’m speaking of is mostly made up of the shrimps’ feces. After realizing this we were completely done. Both plates sat at the end of the table waiting to be taken away. Our waiter passed by a number of times and didn’t stop, another waiter finally came by, we told him everything and he said he’d get the manger. Then our waiter came by we told him everything as well and he said he, too, would get the manager. After a few minutes of waiting, the manager never came by, just our waiter with our check with our meals taken off, but the spring rolls still there. Fine, since we did eat them. We paid and got up to leave. As we did the manager smiled at us and said«sorry». I will not be returning here. With Boo-Rays, and the new restaurant Flames, there is definitely better seafood, and better Cajun food in Weatherford.

Sigh, I so wanted to love this place. So so so much. This review is taking into effect that they are new and working out kinks. Preface: The restaurant says that it’s Cajun but it is Chinese seafood that uses some cajun elements. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but being from deep east TX on the Louisiana border, anytime I see something in the metroplex that says«Cajun» I get excited because they are few and far between. The good. The fried platter comes with calamari, shrimp rangoon, mini meat pies, spring rolls, fries, and hush puppies. Everything on here was really good except I didn’t care for the meat pies. Their red sauce is wonderful. The medium. We had the wings as an appetizer with honey ginger sauce, I really cannot attest to the taate, sew below why. The seafood deluxe comes with crab legs, mussels, shrimp, crawfish, and andouille sausage. The shrimp was great the sausage was good and the crab legs were mostly good. The crawfish were deplorable. I get that it’s not crawfish season, but at least get good frozen crawfish. That’s not what they served. The bad. GARLIC. Oh. My. God. The garlic. I love garlic but they put it on everything in really big chunks. Couldn’t taste the sauce on the wings and the melted butter they serve for the crab legs had a bunch of garlic in it. Garlic, garlic, garlic. Keep this in mind. They only had two high chairs and I have two toddlers, so that was a pain. However that has become a personal pet peeve of mine, restaurants that don’t attempt to cater to large families. The ugly was the service. It sucked. I realize they may be short staffed, but you’re a new restaurant in a tough market in a tough location, you need to be on the top of your game. We may be back on down the road after they’ve had time to work out the kinks.
