Considering I never even got into my room. I’d give this hotel less than one star. It is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in my life. I never write reviews and never complain because I work in customer service. But the attitude and lack of compassion of this terrible establishment have caused me to take to the interwebs. I booked through Expedia, the reservation day was wrong. I arrived today and they said I was booked for the day before, I was still in a different hotel 200 miles away. Instead of offering to transfer the night, or at least partially refund my money, the clerk said sorry about your luck and ignored me, like eyes averted to floor as if I had a third eye ignored me. I took to Expedia, who called on my behalf, they also told Expedia they wouldn’t refund my money. Stellar customer service. Its probably why there wasn’t a car in your parking lot. I’d recommend sleeping in your car before giving a dime to these guys. Worst. Customer. Service. EVER. CAPSLOCK!!!

I do not recommend this hotel to anybody that plans to sleep or relax. The refrigerator operated at a decibel level higher than most power tools. The breakfast consisted of mini bagels taken out of the freezer and expired yogurt. Sleeping in your car would be a better alternative.

This is a review for hikers(primarily): This place advertises a nice ‘hiker rate’ which they proceeded to not actually give us when we checked out. It’s alright not to offer a discount to hikers but it isn’t alright to offer one and not actually give it. Very Negative attitude from the manager marred an otherwise fine location, pretty good continental breakfast, and quiet place. Also, seems a bit lame that they segregate hikers in an outbuilding but that’s another story. Opt for somewhere else in town(Budget Inn or the free camping at the Y).

Typical older motel with several nice upgrades: new flatscreen TV, refrigerator, microwave. Clean bathroom and good clean beds, basic upgrades to sink and bath. Old carpeting, furniture round out the ‘has been’ atmosphere but you get what you pay for at this price point. Breakfast bar is basic, go early if you want the boiled eggs and yogurt they were out when we arrived late in the game. Oh well. Very quiet neighborhood next to a church and across from a defunct shopping center. Free Wall Street Journal inside office door, at least I hope they were free!

I’ve read the two other reviews, but I really like this place. My husband and I stayed in the building separate from the main building. It’s not a four star hotel, but our non-smoking room was comfortable and had sliding glass doors that opened onto a little balcony(love hotels/motels that let you have some fresh air), a fridge, and a microwave. We would stay here again.

This seemed like a pretty standard quality inn. Clean, good price, nothing fancy, and the free breakfast. They did have a weird door system where you tapped your key card rather than swipe. Also, the door didn’t close without really pulling it in, and it beeps unless it’s completely closed. That’s okay if you don’t have your ipod on, but if you do, you may try to close it while going to breakfast and not hear the beeping. Fortunately, when I got back to my room, my GPS was still there! The location is pretty good — a short distance to SNP, and the downtown is in walking distance.
