Average at best. The rooms only have one setting for the air conditioning. Rooms are also from something in the 70’s

Experience: One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a hotel. Going in and reading reviews on the booking website I was optimistic about the hotel, saw that they had a nice pool area and were located directly across from a driving range, but it all changed as soon as soon as I actually got to the room. I was given a room on the side facing the parking lot after requesting one that doesn’t and was told there were no other rooms available, given I spoke to one of the staff the next day and they told me they had several available rooms not facing the parking lot. I was kept up until 5AM by people yelling in the parking lot. After driving for 8 hours that’s not exactly ideal. When I tried to contact the front desk the first time around 12:30AM he told me he’d handle it, but I should realize that people are leaving the Tilted Kilt right next door since it’s Friday. Nothing changed. I called again, after not being able to sleep because of the noise, around 4 in the morning and was told that there is no security on the premises and he simply couldn’t do anything about it. He told me to deal with it and then rudely hung up the phone on me when I was mid-sentence. Never apologized, absolutely absurd. The next morning I made a formal complaint to the front desk staff and switched rooms after explaining the situation. The second night was decent. The food at the Tilted Kilt, next door, was pretty good and I was actually able to get a good nights sleep. Another problem I experienced with the staff is after trying to split the two nights between my girlfriend and I they charged my card after being reassured at least 5 times that it would be split down the middle on both cards. After trying to get a hold of a manager for 2 days, and leaving my information twice, I got lucky and the manager was actually the concierge on duty. She was somewhat quick about handling the situation, but spoke to me with a very condescending tone and when I told her about the situation that happened with the concierge the first night she said«I know who you’re talking about. No he wouldn’t do that.» Essentially calling me a liar and then very sarcastically told me that she’d speak to him on the situation and take appropriate actions. Rooms: The rooms are actually decent for the price. The only thing that bothered me is the hair that was left behind in the bath tub. Almost seemed as if the maid didn’t even bother to look at it. The air conditioning works perfectly, there are a fair amount of channels and the bathroom, besides the tub, was decent. Overall a horrible experience. They don’t seem to appreciate the guest whatsoever even after spending money at their hotel. The staff didn’t know how to speak to guests and were rude, don’t realize that the hotel services are actually a part of the experience of staying at the hotel.

It’s actually a motel in that the rooms all face the outside and also the rooms are a bit dated. But it’s a good value of the price and they have a «tilted kilt» attached which was a nice surprise for a lively bite to eat on a thursday evening. Even had live music. If you’re looking for a decent place to stay at a low price then you might want to try.
