One of my new favorite new places in Wayne! The tacos are all delicious(minus the ground beef one… seems really out of place in the menu); my favorite ones are the Mojo and Tatonka. My recommendation to management, if you’re reading this, is to make some sort of a special, like 3 for $ 10, because it is a tad too pricey as it stands right now. What’s also confusing is that the burritos are all the same price($ 9.50) but the tacos range in price, which seems inconsistent. I think a flat-price menu would boost business and orders significantly. Make all tacos $ 3.50 and people will be apt to order more; no customer likes to think«Oh am I spending too much on this taco? maybe I should get the cheaper one» Oh, and definitely get rid of the ground beef taco… doesn’t go with the Hawaiian theme at all. The restaurant itself is a tad large and the tables are too small, which makes dining in somewhat awkward. You should consider redecorating a bit, maybe adding a few booths to fill up the large empty space. Other than that, Pipeline is well worth the visit! The staff is friendly, the food is great, and it’s very unusual for Downtown Wayne, which doesn’t have very good ethnic food outlets. Welcome to Wayne, Pipeline!

I have been several times for lunch and usually have the chicken tacos. The service is occasionally slow. The food is decent to good. The staff is friendly. While pipeline probably wont knock your socks off, it is a good place to go for a reasonably priced, solid meal.

I’ve been here twice, and I’ve enjoyed both visits. I’ve gotten the lunch special, which although a little pricey, has been good. I’ve had the mojo taco, and it has been delicious. The service has been very good, and the workers are very friendly. I would have given it 4 stars, but I felt it was a little pricey and the drink choices aren’t your conventional Coke or Pepsi products. If you’re looking for a taco place in Wayne, I’d recommend Pipeline.

Had lunch here this week and it was ok. I’m giving the place 3 stars but will go back to try again because I really want a taco place to do well on the Main Line! I didn’t see many people complain about the salsa but it was bland and very oniony and the juice was watery. Then the chips were a bit greasy. The Yo Hot Momma is definitely hot — I think it’s toned down a little more when ordered in a rice bowl. The soda choices are a little frou-frou but I could always get water and save a few bucks! Restaurant is clean and a nice size for lunch. Parking is ridiculous so don’t even try to get close, pack your quarters for the meter and get in a nice walk!

Great tacos, this place can get a little pricey compared to some other Mexican places but all the food is so fresh and unique that it is well worth it. I would recommend the spicy ground beef and also the buffalo shrimp tacos.

Awesome! I got one mahi mahi and one pork taco. My husband got one beef and one chicken. My 3yo got a cheese quesadilla and declared it was ‘delicious’. The chips & guac were very good too. Its very clean and décor is really cool. Big fans & we’ll be back.

I work just a few buildings away and was so excited to hear a taco shop was opening up in Wayne, but I have given this new establishment two tries and have had very disappointing results both times. First, the prices are ridiculously high for the quantity of food, although I do appreciate they are using some organic ingredients which I recognize cost a bit more(but $ 5 per taco… yes ONETACO… is way too high). Secondly, the salads are really unappetizing. I think it is a great idea in theory to take your favorite taco and turn it into a lower calorie version via salad form, but the salad(I’ve gotten both the fish and chicken) are COATED in some weird mayonnaise dressing that makes the salad almost inedible and extremely watery. Unless they have a free taco day, I will not be visiting again.

Just finished dinner here and wow! This is the third visit in as many months and it just doesn’t disappoint. The nachos and guacamole is outstanding. The guacamole is just avocado, little salt and some lime, nothing else to get in the way of flavor! I like the Pipeline tacos and the yo mamma(traditional taco that surpasses any thing I’ve had else where). Highly recommend this eatery. Can’t wait to come back. Well done!

Came here for dinner on Friday, and was very disappointed. I was in Wayne with my boyfriend and we decided to try Pipeline as I was(and always am) craving tacos. We ordered 4 tacos(2 of which were just ground beef), 2 drinks and guac and the total was almost $ 30. For the price, I was expecting really great tacos, but all we got were some tacos that were average at best. The guac, while decent, had clearly been sitting out for a bit as it had turned brown in spots. This place doesn’t really have much to set itself apart from other places selling tacos. Chipotle and Cal Tort are probably better and cheaper. With all the other dining options in Wayne, I do not think we will be back.

Amazingly fresh! Such a great addition to the Wayne food scene. Much needed casual but good place in this area!

I had someone pick up food for me, so my review considers only the product as I did not see PT’s interior. Since the place that was in this location closed sadly, I was looking forward to trying the new trendy fast casual place in town. I really really wanted to like Pipeline Taco, but I felt the food fell short of the tasty taco treats expected. I ordered 3 tacos(chicken, pork and beef), guacamole and chips. I gave two stars because each of the 5 items were just so-so, flavor overdone and unbalanced, or did not sit with my palette at all. I’m not sure if I just received a rushed order or someone new assembled it, but for near twenty bucks($ 19) or even $ 10, I would have liked to see all of the items executed well. At Chipotle, I can order tacos(with the most expensive meat option) along with 2 guac and chips(to match PT’s guac portion size) for $ 13.20. I am happy to pay the small business premium, but only if the food is ATLEAST as good as a competitor, if not even better. **Chicken taco — 3⁄5: This one was my favorite. The chicken was tender, and the sauce and salsa were good. When I say good, it was good relative to the other tacos, but not too good when one considers being introduced to a new dish and seeing the flavors meld well. **Beef taco — 2.5÷5: This one was reminiscent of tacos you can buy from the grocery store and assemble yourself at home; hard-shell, very fine beef, and Old El Paso. It tasted good because it was familiar, but maybe a little too familiar. **Pork taco — 1⁄5: The pork was very tender, but all of the flavor and sauce on the pork was overbearing. The flavor of this taco can be improved if the amount of the sauce/salsa is significantly dialed down to 1 tablespoon instead pouring a lot of it on. I had a hard time enjoying the pork and the tortilla because all I could taste was the sauce… and it was just too strong. **Guacamole — 1⁄5: Be aware that this is not guacamole like one would expect with cilantro, onions, garlic or lime. I tasted cucumber and lemon(??) mixed in… which for me did not taste right. Another Unilocaler in a review below wrote that this guac is only avocado, lime and salt… which is ok, but the guacamole was overmixed with too much citrus and was browning… drowning out the avocado taste… and channeling cucumber flavors!!! **Chips — 1⁄5: They were greasy and sprinkled with salt, and carried a bitter aftertaste. I assume the taste comes from the oil used to fry them in. I could not enjoy these by themself either, even without the guac. Another element I found missing as of this writing is I could not locate a website for Pipeline Taco and could not read about their story anywhere. On their facebook page their about us only had, «So good — it’ll break your mouth.» I hate to say the obvious, but the opposite was true for me… so bad, it broke my mouth)-:. Seeing that their story is not easily accessible, I feel as a customer I do not have the context of the type of food business PT is aspiring to be. Unilocal has PT listed as Hawaiian and I was told there was a lot of surfboard garb inside. I can tell these aren’t intended to be Tex Mex/Mexican-style tacos(or are they???) because the flavors are way different, but is there a theme they are suppose to be? Are these the types of flavors you can find in CA or HI? Somewhere else? Is this just an experimental flavor taco joint? Not sure… some education and information would be appreciated especially around what to expect. I may try Pipeline Taco again in the future, but not for a few months until they’re mostly done working out their growing pains.

This place is legit. Authentic flavors with fresh and high quality ingredients. My wife and I tried every one of their tacos, and all of them were either good or great. The grilled chicken and the fried fish tacos were my favorites. Their rice and beans tasted great too. Their guacamole isn’t for everyone, though. It’s just lime, salt, and avocado. I like mine with cilantro, tomatoes, and some jalapenos, so I wasn’t all that thrilled. All in all, a solid addition to the neighborhood. I hope these guys stick around for a long time.

Checked this place out today and it was really good. Ground beef taco was the winner for me. I would disagree that this place is one $ though. Tacos are anywhere from $ 3.50 to $ 4.50, and anyone with a decent appetite is gonna need 3 of them at least.

My first and last time at Pipeline Tacos. Took 20 minutes for my 2 burrito bowls to be served for lunch. Both were cold. Small container of pico was frozen.

I stopped in to Pipeline for the first time today, and they are off to a really good start on the«soft» launch. This is the third business in this particular location over the last 2 years. I think Pipeline is going to do well, the location is not ideal, but the food quality is high enough to get people in the door, and good Mexican is non-existent in Wayne with the exception of the tacos offered at Teresa’s next door. The tacos at Pipeline are made with very fresh ingredients and the tortillas are high quality. I tried a fish tempura and a chicken taco and both were really good. The guacamole was also really fresh, but the chips were pedestrian and unsalted. I think they can definitely improve the chips. The ordering line was pretty efficient, but the kitchen seemed disorganized, which is not a shock since they are working out the kinks. I ordered my tacos to go, and everything was very well packaged. Overall, probably the best dedicated Mexican option in Wayne. The Chipotle location nearby is the worst Chipotle in the world, and the higher end options on North Wayne ave are both terrible.

Pipeline is Wayne’s newest Taco shop. Its menu is reasonably-priced. I highly recommend trying one of their signature Pipeline taco. All in all, it’s worth checking out and the fact that it’s BYOB is certainly attractive.

Very good soft-corn tortilla tacos. They reminded me of the taco stand we frequented when we were in Maui. I had pork and fried fish tacos, plus some nachos. The fish was good, but I really recommend the pork. The nachos were very good, too, with just the right amount of toppings.(Nachos are dine-in only.) My daughter also said the ground beef was excellent, so I’ll have to try that next time.

Took my sons to check out this new taco place. Very simple, surf inspired décor. The staff were very upbeat and friendly. We ordered the nachos with pork and an assortment of tacos — tempura mahi, buffalo shrimp and the traditional Yo Mama. Everything was super fresh and super delicious! Loved the pico de gallo. I will definitely be back to try the Kahlua pork taco and a burrito!
