I stop into Neil’s Pizzeria occasionally during lunch when I’m in the direction of Valley Road running an errand. It’s in the strip mall that used to have A&P anchoring it. It’s tucked away in the corner. They always have at least 10 – 15 different kinds of slices available whenever I stop in. I’ve had the plain cheese, vodka sauce, eggplant parmigiana, and chicken bacon ranch slices among others. Of those, I’d probably say that the vodka sauce and chicken bacon ranch slices were my favorites. Those two kinds were the standouts for me. They are unique and worth trying. For the most part, the pizza is decent, but I’ve definitely had better. It’s not my first choice of pizza place, but you won’t be disappointed either. Neil’s gets really busy at lunch time as it is located across the street from Wayne Valley High School. The kids will literally fill up the restaurant. So plan your timing accordingly or grab your pizza to go.

My friend brought over subs from here, and mine was delicious. I got a ham, capicola, and provolone combo with pretty much everything on it. I really like the bread they use, and the ingredients are fresh. The portions were big and the prices were fair. I would definitely order from here again!

Stopped in for a slice today with my wife and left with both regrets and a terrible feeling in our stomachs. Greasy, oily shit that fell apart as we pulled off the plate. We couldn’t even force ourselves to finish our slices. Disgusting.

We are new to town and ordered takeout from Neil’s based on the above-average reviews on Unilocal.Coming from a foodie-town with a multitude of restaurants that rival any NYC establishment, I have to say that both me and my three other dinner companions were sorely disappointed. Neil’s is a slap in the face to true Italian cuisine. Granted none of us tried the pizza which is what they appear to be known for, but the pasta dishes were quite bland and the sauce truly tasted like Chef Boyardee. I could have gotten a better meal from a can.

Neil’s has the best pizza in town hands down! Don’t let me get started on the rest of the menu. My family and I have been going there for years and have never been disappointed with the food, service, or delivery. A must try!

Neil’s Pizzeria is hands down one of the best places to go for italian food in Wayne, NJ. Having lived in Wayne for about 8 years and in New Jersey my entire life, I have tasted an obscene amount of pizza all over the state. After I got out of work on St. Patrick’s Day, I wanted absolutely nothing to do with corn beef and cabbage(because I work in a deli and was tired of looking at it lol) and decided to grab a pepperoni pie at Neil’s. They may have been slow due to the holiday, but that meant I got extra attention on my pizza. I asked for it to be cooked well done, and when I went in, the gentleman behind the counter showed it to me and asked if it was to my liking. It definitely was. I must say that was the best pie I have had from there. In addition to their pizza, I am a huge fan of their subs and calzones. Absolutely delicious. I had also bought some pies and a 3 foot italian sub from them for a Super Bowl party. Being one of the busiest days of the year, they still delivered high quality food. I can’t wait to go back. Just writing this review is making me hungry.

Great staff and great food. Everyone who works here is always friendly and smiling. Food is fantastic. Everything from pizza to pasta is great. Spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce for $ 8.00 is amazing. Sauce is tasty and meatballs have great flavor. The Neal’s special cheesesteak is the best cheesesteak I have ever had. A big fat tasty sandwich. Try it you will like it. From pickup to delivery they are always on time. Love it here and will continue to frequent it.

Staff is great — very friendly, specialty slices around lunch time are awesome, pizzeria interior recently refreshed. Great take out. Some of my favorites are: Fresh tomato slices Chicken pesto pizza Buffalo chicken pizza Mini round fresh tomato and garlic personal pies Can’t go wrong here. Strong lunch crowd from the local high school. 4 stars for what it is — a local pizzeria offering tasty, fresh pizza and delicious specialty slices.

I go here for one thing and one thing only. Their buffalo chicken specialty pizza. It is the best I have ever had. I have had their plain, Sicilian, vodka sauce, veggie, margarita, BBQ chicken, and chicken parmesan. They are all just okay so the 4 stars is simply because they have an awesome buffalo chicken pizza.

Great food, clean, personable staff. Their food is really good especially their pizza. They have a ton of specialty pies you can order from, my favorite the chicken vodka pie. Also they have a slew of pastas, wraps, and entrees. Overall 5⁄5 and the best pizza in Wayne!

I have been getting pizza here for YEARS… literally it’s been over a decade!(makes me feel old, LOL). But honestly, the quality of food, freshness, service… is the best I know in town. Wayne is huge obviously with lots of options, but throughout my life this has always been a staple for me. I remember years ago(and it’s still true now), coming in and drooling over the wide variety of pies available for slices during lunch. A smorgousboard(I know I spelled that wrong, but hopefully you know what I mean. AMAZING pizza, quality sandwiches and entrees, great service. Check it out, you won’t be sorry

Just had Neil’s late night. We both had Focaccia, not that good. It came out of the oven cold & wasn’t as good as it used to be.

This is your average dime-a-dozen pizzeria in North Jersey. The best thing this place has is the sicilian martguerita pie. This pie is quite good, but it requires a large party of people if you want to finish it. That sucker is heavy! Other than that, none of their other pizza impressed me, some was even down right bad — something about their sauce if off I think. Most of their slices taste like they’ve been sitting out a while, which is typical of pizza places, but it shouldn’t actually taste that way once it’s reheated. The service here is OK, they are attentive when it comes to taking orders but it’s always packed and they take a long time to actually fill your orders. Overall, it’s fine it’s the closets pizza joint, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

just recently bought a few pies for a party and I have to say, this was the worse pizza i’ve had in a REALLY long time. I’m not a picky eater and this was pretty bad. The crust was terrible, tasted like frozen pre-rolled dough… similar to pizza in the frozen food section of the supermarket. Sauce wasn’t great either. They charge top dollar for a pie and i was expecting something decent. Can’t believe they charge what they charge for that quality of a pie. very disappointing.

The garlic and broccoli was more brothy then what I was expecting, in fact, I didn’t even eat. The pizza was eh, but we did get it take out. The folks in our group that got the chicken parm LOVED it. Next time I’ll try one of the other«big threes»

Amazing pizza and worth the trip if you are ever in Wayne, NJ. They are part of the big 3(Tony’s, Neil’s, and Vinnie’s) all of which have great pizza. I prefer the specialty pies at Neil’s, but the plain slice at Tony’s. Their Chicken Vodka pizza is the best specialty slice in the world!
