Magic Wok can be a little hit or miss for me when it comes to the service. There are a couple people who just seem a little gruff which doesn’t match my overall experience of Wayne. As far as the establishment goes, the inside is decorated in a pseudo-Asian style and they tend to play the local country station(which makes me smile). The food is typically very good. At first I was surprised that the fried rice that accompanies a meal doesn’t have any vegetables or meat in it, but I’ve learned to appreciate it. My favorite is the General’s chicken, and usually it’s a little on the spicy side, but the last time I ordered, it was a little bland. I’m not sure what that was about. Good for carry-out – they stuffed our bag with napkins and plenty of soy sauce, so we didn’t even need to pick up some of our own off the counter. As the only Chinese place in town, it satisfies the craving for Chinese food.

New management. Food is better. Place looks better too.

Recently under new management. I have to change my review: Portions have decreased, food does not come out hot, seems like quality has gone down. My almond chicken came out as a chicken-veggie mix with some almonds thrown on top. Old review: Better than average order at the counter Chinese restaurants. Varied menu, choice of rice, Excellent addition to choices in Wayne. They do take out, of course.
