Doctor and front office staff were great in person. But if you need to call the office for any reason over the phone they’re unkind and condescending. I kept getting put on hold and transferred and having to explain myself to what felt like the entire staff in the building. So annoying! And they make you feel like they’re so busy but every time I walk in there isn’t a soul in the waiting room.

5 stars for the doctor and front desk. 2 stars for benefits claims staff experience a few months ago. Not the kind of supportive person you’d want helping you figure out any miscommunication in billing/benefits. I went in for an annual exam(fully covered by insurance) and the doctor’s office sent my samples to a third party lab to be tested. Exam with Dr. Domnitz went smoothly and quickly. Imagine my surprise when I received a $ 500+ invoice from the lab with a warning to pay up or else the bill would be sent to a collections agency. I immediately went in to Associates In Women’s Healthcare to find out what could’ve gone wrong and left a note for the benefits claims person upon instruction from the nice front desk person. A few days passed without hearing so I called the lab to follow up and straightened out the issue(check was lost in mail and re-sent by my insurance). After this, the benefits employee from Associates in Women’s Healthcare called to tell me that it was not their problem and it was out of their hands. She kept harping on the point that there was nothing she could do before I could tell her that everything was fine. It was the first time something like this had happened to me(which was why I left her a note) and she acted like I was going to argue with her about the matter. I expected a better attitude towards patients and a less accusatory tone, especially with something as costly as medical bills.
