The food was not up to buffet par… The woman who charged us was walking around eating while working. She came to my table to take a couple of napkins to wipe her face and hands… Does she not get a break? She should not be eating while handling customers and she should especially come to a customers table to wipe her face and dirty paws. I will never return here or any buffet. Completely disgusted by this place. The bathroom was a complete mess. The only nice thing I have to say is the old lady refilling my drinks did a very a good job.

I along with my family reserved the large private dining area to celebrate the birthday of my grandmother. When the reservation was made, we were guaranteed to have this private area, but when we arrived we were told something different. There were other diners seated in the area, we reserved, and the manager felt no need for urgency in helping our large party to be seated. He made no apologies, and was very insensitive. If it wasn’t for my grandmother wanting to stay, we would’ve left. The buffet, if that’s what you want to call it, was very empty. Talk about slim pickings, I stood there and stared for a good while, trying to figure out where all the food was. The poor server seemed like a crowd was too much for her. I’ve my mind made up, I HATERYANS! #Furrs or #GoldenCorral come get rid of Ryans.

really 2.5 stars… food was good to great… the steaks tonite were spot. on, tender and. tasty…ribs were very good, fall of the bone tender and sauced nicely… pot roast was. nice…the fried chicken was as good as it ever has been, lightly breaded and perfectly seasoned batter… and the butter and syrup bread pudding is still the best!!! …problem was with the hours… we weren’t there 25 minutes when. we were told that staff was going to break down the service. line…now, it was only 8:15pm…and they close at 8:30, hello??? If you want to. close at 815, then why did you let us in at 745??? I guess staff in a hurry to go watch second half of Cowboys game… diners beware… if you are here and check in after 715pm… watch out for disappearing food line!!!

Food has always tasted like hospital or school cafeteria food, the only thing that is decent is the salad and rolls. The waitresses are always very nice. This place is so expensive for the cafeteria food they serve it’s ridiculous. Golden corral sad to say is better.

We’ve had our Ryans(AKA«Fire Mountain when they opened, but it’s the same company) for 9 years now, and we’ve been going the whole time off-and-on. They represent a good value for the money, and the food is more than acceptable(Salads: V.G.; Entrees: F to Good; Deserts: Good), though their steaks are usually Fair to Poor(tough and grizzly). Golden Corral is far better IMHO(though we don’t have one in town). Sunday breakfast is Great(but we just can’t eat enough to justify going there). Overall, Lunch is a GOOD buy; Dinner is a Fair buy. Our Waxahachie location is clean, except the carpets BADLY need a THOROUGH cleaning, but more likely replacement from years of spilled food. Don’t get me wrong; it isn’t that bad, or we’d stop going, but it’s not«Two Thumbs Up High», either, but gives quite decent value for the money for sure.

I’m almost embarrassed to even admit I went here. If you thought Golden Corral was bad they have nothing on Ryan’s. I’m giving them two stars even though they deserve one because the waitress was nice and they sucked me in to begin with. Food was lukewarm, tasteless, and the highlight of my meal was the ravoli in the cream gravy. You know it’s bad when you leave an all you can eat place hungry.

They have there employees clock out at closing time and have them work cleanup. It’s illegal and needs to be investigated. The employees that do this usually can’t speak English so they do it in fear of being fired. EEOC needs to look into it. Remember this next time you tip please.
