It looks like an old timey motel from the outside and is pretty adequate for a place to spend the night. Clean and quiet just like I like it. The two downfalls: I checked out at 6:30am and there wasn’t anyone around to get me a receipt of my stay. Just a box to deposit my key. The free breakfast had curdled cream on the breakfast bar.

I must admit that I didn’t have high hopes when I walked in the front door of the lobby. Everything looked kind of cheap, and the breakfast bar was set up in the anteroom. However, the room was clean, comfortable and a good value for my $ 60 — that already earned this motel three stars. The fourth came from the following: — The motel has a classic look and is all on one floor, which is great for guests with a lot of stuff or who can’t climb stairs. — Generally speaking, it should be possible to park right outside your room. — Free Wi-Fi that worked well. — The room came with two queen-size beds, which were extra-firm(but I like extra-firm beds). The pillows were thin, and no extras were provided, but since there were only two of us staying, we just doubled up our pillows. Friendly staff could no doubt provide more pillows upon request. — Heat was ample, but the HVAC and bathroom fans were too loud. — The room included a microwave, mini refrigerator and coffeemaker at no extra charge. — There were no disposable cups in the bathroom, but more than enough hot cups next to the coffee machine. — The bathtub stopper was broken, but I was only interested in showering, so this was not a problem. — There were a few signs of hasty do-it-yourself repairs in the bathroom(such as caulk unprofessionally packed around the base of the toilet), but nothing(other than the bathtub stopper) malfunctioning or leaking. This motel was the best deal at this exit, and if we’re in the area overnight again, we’ll almost certainly stay here again.
