We stopped here one cold and wet winter evening traveling between the east coast and Chicago. We made arrangements with Cheryl the day before and she was there to greet us when arrived. It’s a little off the beaten path but not too far and well worth it. Cheryl is friendly and open. The house has a historic character and is charming. The bed was comfortable and the room was well-decorated. We were given free run of the living room and kitchen area. After a long day of driving it felt good to sink into the sofa and veg out watching Downton Abbey. The breakfast was outstanding and generous. If we could figure out a way to spend the night in Wauseon, Ohio again, we’ll be back!
