Have been going here for 3 years now, and today was the last visit. You cannot get the same haircut twice. They do not cut hair properly. They cannot make sideburns even. They spend too much time standing behind the counter and taking breaks when people are waiting. They do not listen to what you want. There is an odd guy there that cuts hair, but only if he wants the customer. Otherwise he will «busy» himself until someone takes the next person on the list.
I went back because I did get a couple of good cuts, but then that person isn’t there the next time.
Today an Asian woman gave me a clipper cut. She must have thought she was using a weed whacker. I have a cut on my head and neck, and a headache that lasted for hours.
The customers are weird, too. Either they sit there and stare at you, or if they have little kids, they let their kids run all over the place. Wausau has several other great places for a haircut. I don’t understand the hype over The Barber Shop.

Great experience, I happened to be in this RANDOM part of Wisconsin for a business trip. I drove from Steven’s Point, 33 miles to get the experience in the description and they did not disappoint. I’ll be back!
