This place is very good! They are known for their«7th and Main» beef brisket sandwich. I ordered that and shared a «summer salad» with my wife which had turkey, strawberries, mandarin oranges, granny smith apples, candied pecans, and gorganzola cheese with their homemade citrus and herb dressing. I will definitely be back!

I too am not a coffee drinker, but I am a quasi-hipster freelancer with a Macbook. So when I visited my parents in Wauchula, I HAD to visit Java Café to get some work done.(Plus my parents’ internet was out.) Java Café had everything I look for in a coffeehouse/office. Fresh baked goods, fast internet, comfy and chill atmosphere. The hot chocolate scalded my tongue, which served as a reminder why I don’t drink hot drinks.(I was fooled by the tuft of whipped cream on top.) But that’s my fault. I’ll be back with computer in hand.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I still go to the Java Café for sandwiches and salads. Service is always friendly and attentive, and they offer creative specials in addition to their menu. It’s hard to choose a favorite from the lunch menu, but if you don’t know where to start, try the 7th and Main sandwich. Everything is made fresh and is a great value for the money.
